Chapter Text

There was the beeping of cars and buses, the ding of a bell, and the laughter of small children. It was time for Squirrel Club with Duggee! What will Duggee have planned for them today?
“Hey Duggee! What are you doing?” The Squirrels asked. The group consisted of Duggee and five small children. There was Tag, a clumsy rhino, Norrie, a kind mouse, Happy, a joyful crocodile, Betty, a clever octopus, and Roly, an energetic hippo!
“Woof…” Duggee barked… which roughly translated to “Why is this web glowing purple… I don’t think I have a badge for this…”! Normally, Duggee would have a badge and some knowledge ready for most situations… but he didn’t understand this… oh, and he primarily speaks via this onomatopoeia “Woof!”!
“What is THAT!?!” Betty asked. Duggee knew it was a spider’s web… but he was sure that there wasn’t any spider HE knew of!
Happy then spotted more webs… as well as unusual spiders! “After them!” He shouted.
The Squirrels and Duggee followed the spider’s to a cave where they spotted a Duggee-sized… humanoid…spider queen! They were immediately spotted by the creatures due to Roly’s shouting!
“Ah… I see you saw my webs Duggee! Why don’t you see how they're made in person!” The queen said! She wrapped Duggee in one of her webs… then looked to the Squirrels! “Now… WHAT to do with these PESKY children?” She didn’t want the Squirrels interfering with her plans… She then had an idea. “I know, I’ll banish you all!” She announced. Portals opened and the Squirrels got pushed in by guards! As they were pushed in, Betty shouted in a booming voice.
“You won’t get away with this!” She said “YOU WON’T GET AWAY WITH THIS!”

Little did they realize… they were about to go on a new sort of adventure! No badge to earn, no help from Duggee, and some new friends to make and foes to face!

Chapter Text

Happy looked around, wondering where he was. Then… he felt it… water. He was underwater. He felt a burst of joy from the water, but then remembered he needed to get home. He saw three homes, all in a row, with the one right in front of him looking like a… pineapple? He knocked on the steel door, which came right open to reveal a chipper man in square pants smiling right at him.
"Hi… I’m Happy! Do you know where I am?" He asked the unfamiliar face.
"Hi, I’m Spongebob!" The man answered. His name was quite accurate, as he looked like a kitchen sponge. "As for where you are, you’re in Bikini Bottom! Hold on, let me get Patrick, he lives over there under that rock! Patrick!". Then, the rock lifted up to reveal a pink starfish.
"Hey Spongebob!" Patrick shouted. Then, he walked over to the group.
"Patrick, this is Happy! Happy, this is my best friend Patrick!" Spongebob said, introducing them to one-another.
Then, Happy explained his situation and was taken to the Tree-Dome, home of Spongebob’s friend Sandy Cheeks. They also decided to drag Squidward along for the ride! There, Sandy gave them some gear and opened a portal to Happy’s home dimension.
"Now, fellas! This portal may lead to Happy’s home dimension, but I don’t know where! So be careful!" Sandy warned.
"You got it Sandy!" Spongebob replied.
They entered the portal and found themselves on a beach. Happy found Squidward, but couldn’t find Spongebob and Patrick.
"Where are you guys?" Happy asked.
"Let’s just leave without them!" Squidward said. He didn’t like Spongebob or Patrick.
"We’re down here! We’re just really, really small!" Spongebob shouted. Happy then decided he was gonna have to carry them.
Meanwhile, Betty woke up on a medical bed, with a penguin with a nurse's hat sitting right beside her.
"Are you okay!" He asked.
Betty felt… a lot of things. She was confused…worried…nervous as to what happened to her and what will happen.
"Don’t panic!" The penguin said, "I’m Peso, and I’m a medic! I help any creature who's hurt or sick! Captain Barnacles and Kwazii saw you get thrown on the ship by what Kwazii described as ‘Strange spider monsters’ that he didn’t even understand!".
After Betty explained her situation to everyone on what was called the ‘Octopod’, they came up with a plan to get her back home.
"Alright, we need to get Betty here back to her home dimension!" Barnacles spoke, "We don’t have access to a portal, so this might take a while!".

Chapter Text

Norrie wandered around for minutes on end. She’s never been to such a fascinating city. Then, she saw people going in and out of a yellow building, eating and drinking. She went inside and asked a group of kids for help.
“Sure!” One spoke, “What do you need?”.
“I need to get back home! You see, I’m in this group called the Squirrel Club! Our club leader, Duggee, got captured by strange giant spiders! Not only that, but the rest of us, including myself, got ‘banished’ to other dimensions! I don’t know where the others are and I’m starting to get scared!” She explained, starting to tense up.
“Wow, that’ll take a lot of work to solve!” One said.
“Not to mention the fact that she’s a little girl and she has already mastered the art of ‘quote fingers’!” Another added
Then, the first one spoke, “Hi’ I’m Rita, and this is Leon, Nari, and please excuse Zeke over here, you’re probably the youngest person he’s ever seen do quote fingers!”.
“Wait!” Nari exclaimed, “Let me Handle this one! I am quite knowledgeable in the art of magic after all!”
Nari took Norrie to her house where they came up with a plan to bring Norrie home!
“Alright! So first things first! Before youcan find your home, you must first reunite you with your friends!” Nari explained. Then, she opened a portal to another, larger city.
“Are you sure this is the way to do it?” Norrie asked, “Because I really wanna go home!”.
“Believe me, this is important!” Nari explained further, “Besides, your friends probably need you right now!”.
“You’re right!” Norrie said, “They need my help!”.
Then, she jumped onto the portal as Nari waved goodbye, for she must do it without her!

Chapter Text

“So basically, you need MY help to build a portal back home?” A pink rabbit asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Yeah!” Tag answered.
“Ok fine, I’ll help! But someone's gotta watch you!” Then, she let out a small sigh. “I guess I’ll ask my older brothers to watch you!”.
“Thanks!” Tag exclaimed. Then, the rabbit girl walked Tag to her house and up to her bedroom where they found her two brothers, who were on their computer.
“Tag, this is Gumball and Darwin!” She said, then, she asked the two to ‘babysit’ Tag while she built a portal back home, and of course, they agreed. Then, she left.
“Alright, she’s gone!” Gumball said, “Now, back to Epic Pun Time!”. Just then, the door opened again to reveal Gumball’s mom, Nicole, holding a trash bag.
“Could you please help take out the trash? Also, who’s this,a new friend?” She asked, throwing the bag on the ground.
“Well actually,” Darwin answered, “He’s a little boy who Anais asked us to babysit!”.
“What are you here for, exactly? Are you new to town, we could show you around if you’d like… after we take out the trash, of course!” Gumball asked.
“Actually, I was pushed through a portal to this strange place by an evil spider queen, and now I have to get home! Thankfully, your sister Anais agreed to build me a portal back home! It’ll take a while, so I might be stuck here for a while!” Tag explained.
After they took out the trash, Gumball and Darwin decided to take Tag to the mall where he met Anais.
“So this is where she found you, huh!” Gumball said, “What were you doing here, exactly?”
“I was looking for my friends, as they were sent to their dimensions too! But, I couldn’t find them anywhere!” Tag explained.
Meanwhile, Norrie was sitting nearby, waiting for someone, ANYONE, she could recognize.
“I’m sure one of them ought to be around here somewhere!”. Then, Tag passed right by her. Then, he gasped and rushed back to her.
“Norrie, you’re alright!” Tag exclaimed, his eyes starting to tear up.
“I couldn’t care less if I’m alright, Tag!” She replied, “Are YOU alright!”.
“I’m alright now!” Tag answered, “Do you know where the others are?”
“No, but at least I managed to find you!” They hugged each other tight, their eyes streaming with tears and their voices full of laughter.
“Two friends, torn apart by evil and reunited by fate!” Gumball said, as if he was a narrator in a romance movie, “Beautiful, just beautiful!”.

Chapter Text

Roly was in a panic. A voice in his head was telling him he’ll never return home. He knew for a fact it was a minion of the queen!
He scurried around. The world he was in was so strange to him… then he bumped into someone.
“Hey, watch where you’re goin’!” The man said. Then, Roly apologized.
“No prob! Though… I don’t think I’ve seen you around, have I?” He asked, unfamiliar with the hippo “Though, I gotta say, you should probably turn your voice down a notch. Don’t ‘cha think?”.
“Yeah I’m new! I was transported here via portal by a giant evil spider queen. Now, I just need to find my way back home.” Roly explained, the voice in his head telling him he’s never returning was still ringing in him. “By the way,” he said, beginning to tense up “I’m Roly, and you?”
“I’m Headdy!” He answered.
“So, do you think you can help me!” Roly asked.
“Kid, I haven’t done anything good since the demon attack of ‘94, but I believe I know just who to talk to!”
“The WHAT!?!” Roly asked, before quickly being taken to the residence of Headdy’s ‘friend’, Heather.
“So what seems to be the trouble, you two?” She asked.
“Heather, this is serious!” Headdy shouted, sounding desperate, “This kid was unwillingly taken into our dimension from his dimension and he needs to get home!”.
“Don’t you two worry, I’ll hopefully be able to build something with the potential to transport Roly back to his home dimension… or just find a wizard! In the meantime, you two can sleep at my place!” Heather replied.
“Why can’t he stay at my place?” Headdy asked.
“Headdy, no one wants to see your manga collection… or your play script collection… or your weird collection of things you got from people you didn’t even know.” Heather sighed.
“Hey, I’ll have you know one of those items was from Bruin!” Headdy yelled.
“Yeah… because he decided it would be amusing to send you a ‘chocolate’ candle that actually smelled like poo, and watch your reaction from a bush…”
“AND IT WAS!!!” A mysterious, slightly raspy voice shouted. Then, a mysterious silhouette quickly jumped from the bushes and onto a tree branch.
“Bruin, get down from there!” Headdy yelled, pointing to the ground. “What are you even doing here, anyways?”.
“Oh, nothing. Just spying on my old nemesis as usual,” The figure answered, “Besides, that boy you got there looks pretty tense! Which, of course, I find amusing,”. He was right, Roly was starting to get more tense the more he thought about the idea of never going home. His irises turned French rose, with the same color leaking from his sockets.
“Eh… guys…” Heather gestured towards the rivals. She then pointed at Roly with her thumb. Headdy took a closer look at Roly, who was starting to tremble, the color coming from his eyes revealing itself to be a mix of tears and dark magic.
“Oh boy…” Headdy trembled slightly, his eyes shrank in concern at what he saw.
Bruin then jumped down just so he could see how concerned Headdy was getting. He revealed himself to be a cat-like creature with stubs for feet and copper fur. “Ew… what’s he doing?” He asked, stepping back after seeing Roly.
“We don’t know, now go back into the bushes where you belong!” Heather replied, before Headdy knocked Bruin back into the bushes.
When they got to Heather’s room, they noticed strange symbols on Roly’s skin.
“Wait a second… is that… enchantment table language?” Headdy asked, for he did not know it was called the ‘galactic alphabet’.
“By the looks of it, yes!” Heather answered.
They eventually managed to calm Roly down and get him back to normal. He was weak and tired from what had just passed, and the light hurt his eyes to the point where he needed sunglasses.
“Hmm…” Roly contemplated, still recovering from what seemed like some sort of hex or curse “I wonder if my friends are doing better…”.

Chapter Text

“Where is that cave!?!” Squidward barked. His feet were getting tired and he didn’t want to deal with Spongebob’s excessive giggling much longer. Then they heard loud sounds from behind.

“I know you have the formula on hand! Now give it!” A giant machine accused. It was Mr. Krab’s biggest rival, Plankton!

“It’s not with us!” Spongebob reassured.

“Why else would you be here but to hide it from me?”.

“We were just helping this boy get back home!”. Then, a hatch opened to reveal a tiny green creature was operating it.

“Well, since you came all this way, why don’t you come with?” Happy offered.

“Eh… fine,” Plankton reluctantly agreed.

As they walked, they came to a small brown building with red doors.

Happy gasped. “The Clubhouse! Which means the cave where Duggee is should be… this way!”.

The group walked to the same bright glowing cave where it all started. There, they found Duggee wrapped in silk webs, adorned with rubellites and silver. They also found the queen and her servants preparing for a ceremony… a wedding of sorts.

Then, they were swiftly spotted.

“How did you get back!?!” She questioned “I banished you to another dimension and everything! Yet…” she sighed, “You still went right back to where this all started, it seems,”.
“Looks like we just crashed a party,” Spongebob hollered “So… let’s party!”

Chapter Text

The Gup-A was in a whirl. There was a storm and Peso, Kwazii, and Betty could hardly hold themselves together. Barnacles was in the Gup-D trying to keep himself steady as the wind picked up.

“This is gonna be a wild ride mateys!” Kwazii exclaimed excitedly. Betty was screaming at the top of her lungs while Peso held on for dear life.

“When will this nightmare end?” Betty cried.

“Don’t worry! The Octopod should be just up ahead!” Peso reassured, albeit doing it while yelling.
When they got back. Betty & Peso tried to catch her breath while Kwazii ran around in circles like a child.

“How was the trip? Other than the storm of course!” Dashi asked.

“We managed to witness a few interesting happenings, like a shark chasing a fish… and then chasing a few fish biscuits!” The captain explained. They all had a good laugh… well, except for Betty.

“I finished building the portal, I just need to find something to power it… like…” Tweak chimed in, before everyone looked to the web stuck to Betty’s back. “This should do the trick!”.

Chapter Text

Betty walked through the house, only to find Tag and Norrie talking with their new friends.

“Hey Tag, Norrie!”. Everyone looked towards her.

“Betty!” Norrie exclaimed before tackling her.

“Norrie!”.

“Sorry, I’m just happy to see you is all,”.

“I’m happy to see you too,”. Then, a voice cried from the basement.

“It’s ready!” Anais cried, “Come on down!”.

Chapter Text

“Spider! Spider!” Roly cried.

“What Spi- OH MY STARS IT’S HUGE!” Headdy cried. He was right, it really was huge, and it looked near-identical to the spider queen’s servants save for a neon blue symbol rather than a french rose one.

“Don’t panic, I’m here to help!” It said, before webbing a portal right above where Happy was standing. “Be careful where you fall!”.
Of course… they weren’t careful and fell on Squidward.

“Oh, now there’s two more stupid little pests to squish!” The queen quipped.

“Make that three!” The spider, whose name was Fred, roared.

“One of my sister’s servants!?!”.

“Four!” Heather cried.

“And we make…” Gumball started.

“Ten!” Betty finished.

“How about eleven!” Gumball’s mom, who was a skilled fighter, added.

“How about some more!” Captain Barnacles, who managed to gain access to the dimension, exclaimed.

Chapter Text

The fight was a struggle, but a worthwhile one. Happy, Norrie and Darwin escorted Duggee out of the room and Peso untied him while everyone else threw their best punches.

“Are you Ok, Duggee?”. Norried asked. Duggee woofed, reassuring that he was fine thanks to his friends.

Nicole was the heaviest hitter in the battlefield, going right for the queen and everything.

“Is that all you’ve got?”

“Oh there’s more where that came from!” A voice chimed in from above. A group of enemy spiders were on the ceiling, including their leader… the queen’s sister.

“Why must you always do this to me?” The queen sighed, before being swarmed by the enemy spiders, allowing everyone else, including the spider who helped Headdy and Roly, a quick getaway.

Chapter Text

Fred managed to spin web-portals for the guests to go through.

“I guess this is goodbye!” Roly sighed.

“Sure is, kid!” Headdy replied.

“Goodbye everyone!” Spongebob bursted excitedly. Then, the Squirrels said their goodbyes as their new friends left… except there was one tiny problem. Fred only had enough to make portals for all except the Octonauts.

“Well, it looks like it’s not over yet!” Tweak remarked.

“Couldn’t have said it better myself!” Barnacles replied, causing everyone to laugh before Roly started to cough up that same french rose liquid from before.

There was certainly more to come for Duggee and the Squirrels… and the Octonauts too!
