Chapter 1

Daisy was a Torchwood 3 agent (Alice Guppy) before she met Ivan. She stays away from Cardiff as much as possible, knowing of a particular meddling immortal, but when Kemp kills Ivan, she decides it's time for some meddling. Jack freaks out a little at the return of his old boss. She's a little bit crazier than the last time he saw her, and she was an off-the-rails sadist then. He listens to what she has to say though, and is on board to stop Kemp. He tries to hunt her down after the Box Tunnel 20, but she's disappeared and can't be tracked with cameras or thermal detectors. Torchwood 3 removes Kemp and his organisation.

Chapter 2

Torchwood are contacted to handle a grisly mass-murder that suddenly has a new lead. The team heads to Barry, and Jack runs into a familiar face he hasn't seen in decades. Too bad the gorgeous Irishman is the one they're after.

Jack Harkness was number 21 on the train during the Box Tunnel 20 massacre. Mitchell's freaking out but also considering an even more unforgivable action: to take this unkillable man and use him to feed the vampire population.
Jack should kill this monster. He's not sure what exactly is stopping him. He's certainly done more with less time to regain his bearings after a 'death'. Maybe it's because he's only got a gun, and he's not certain that's going to cut it here.

Jack is excellent vampire chow because he doesn't die. Bottomless cup, anybody? He also smells amazing because of his 51st Century pheromones, to all of the sense-enhanced community. You could say he's been... exposed... to the supernatural for a while. He can see the ghosts thanks to his complicated relationship with death. Torchwood 3 sometimes works with things with a more earthly origin than just aliens.
