Summary
Dr. Emily Cannon is determined to help Merlin. The young man had been found, nearly drowned, on the riverbank in London, after an apparent suicide attempt. A lost soul, his eyes bore the weight of a thousand lifetimes, his heart closed off to everyone. With no memory of what happened to him that night, he was a riddle, a mystery. Then out of nowhere, he mentions someone from his past and she sees a spark of life in him. When she learns that person was none other than Arthur Pendragon, the King of Camelot and that the young man before her was actually the wizard of legend, she decides to help reunite Merlin with his beloved king. Emily soon finds herself caught up in a surreal world of magic, resurrection, destiny, and prophecy.
