Chapter Text
Patton loves traditions. He loves that it’s a way to connect to his friends and family. It’s also a way to get closer to everyone. So it would make sense for him to want more traditions for him and his family. And so Patton decided that they best way to make traditions is to ask others. Patton went to Roman first since he’s Creativity.
“Sorry Padre, I’m kinda busy right now, I’m about to go to the Imagination.”
“It’s okay Roman! Have a fun time.” Patton said. When Roman closed his door, Patton went to Logan since he would know what traditions would be the best, after all he’s Logic.
“Patton, I’m in the middle of something. And don’t we have traditions already?” Logan asked.
Well… Yes, they had traditions like movie night, baking cookies, sleepovers, even some for the holidays, and several more. But Patton wanted more.
“I guess yeah.” Logan just nodded and closed the door.
Patton went to Virgil, but he didn’t answer.
He’s probably just having some alone time to help with his anxiety.
So now who does he go to? He could go to Dec-Janus, but would he really want Patton over? There are the other dark sides but Patton doesn’t feel like going over where they live. But maybe they had ideas. But they could also push you back and tell you to go back. However it doesn’t hurt to try. So that is how Patton found himself in front of the door that leads to the dark side’s side.
Come on, you can do this.
Patton turned the handle and walked in. Patton couldn’t remember the last time he was here, all the same he started walking. Patton saw the kitchen first, it was just like theirs but it looked like it was rarely used. The counters were gathering dust and there was nothing on the counters except for a coffee maker. Off of the kitchen was the dining table, in the middle of the table was a vase of flowers, a few yellow pansies, a couple green chrysanthemums, and orange tiger lilies.
Patton passed the table and went into the common room. The couch was covered in pillows that were green, orange, and yellow. Some were blank while others had words or the side’s symbol. There were a few pictures on the wall, several were just Janus, Remus, and the orange side. But there was one that was the three of them along with Virgil.
They sure had fun together.
Patton made his way upstairs. There were five doors, one orange, one yellow, one green, and one a faded purple. The fifth door was white that faded to black. Patton walked towards it and as he was about to knock he heard something. It sounded like…music? Someone was singing and there were instruments playing. What was going on in there?
After a moment of thinking about what to do, Patton knocked.
The music stopped. He heard footsteps and the door opened. And in front of Patton stood Janus.
