Summary
Scott Ryder was looking for an adventure, and a totally new life. He put all of his hopes into M31, the Andromeda Galaxy. To escape his mistakes, his problems, and maybe himself, he took the journey through dark space going on nothing but a dream. What he got was more of a nightmare.
This is the story of Scott Ryder's trials and his floundering attempt to the fill the shoes of his late father, taking the title of Pathfinder and trying to, well... Pathfind.
This fic will explore more of the emotional depth we don't really get from the game itself. This is my own little interpretation of how Ryder is feeling, the logic (or lack thereof) behind his decisions, and how he is coping with being thrown into the fire without warning. I'll be loosely following the events in-game, making tweaks and changes, as well as filling in those little bits of history in-between major events and expanding after end-game. This is my own personal customized Scott Ryder, with a more full background history that is not part of the canon character. I'm building on top of it and filling in blanks. Just a fun little project I'm doing!
