Summary
Sam is Bucky's next door neighbor, his best friend... possibly Bucky's crush. Bucky has been good about keeping those feelings hidden. That is, until Sam kisses Bucky before Passover Seder. Now, they both must figure out what they mean to each other.
EXCERPT:
“There’s – there’s a huge pile up. They need all hands on deck,” said Sam as he strode to Bucky and stopped right inside Bucky’s personal space.
“Hey. No. That’s important. Go save lives,” said Bucky, not sure when his hand got on Sam’s chest, “I’ll save you some dinner.”Sam sighed, Bucky vaguely noticing how Sam’s shoulders slouched as he relaxed.
“Thanks,” said Sam before… he grabbed Bucky’s face and kissed it.
There were like that for eons. Maybe seconds. Bucky didn’t know. They were stuck looking at each other after that kiss. Bucky unsure if that actually happened or if he was having a very vivid hallucination.
Sam let go of Bucky’s face. He stepped back.
“… I’ll… see you later,” said Sam as he made a beeline for the front door.
