Summary
Steve is a lonely merman who seeks out the sea witch to help him find love.

“I’m searching for love as well. I don’t get a lot of mers coming down here to my depths that aren’t already of a mind for someone else or looking for something far grander than my cave could provide.” Billy explains and Steve does not completely get it but he does get one thing.
“Max said you were lonely.” She said he smelled like Steve does and Steve’s sense of smell is not nearly good enough to pick up emotions so even this close the heady smell of Billy is not telling him much except that he smells good. Steve kind of wants to lean in closer and press his nose into the skin of his neck, or anywhere he will allow really.
“She needs to learn to mind her business,” Billy rolls his eyes with a huff “but yes I am.”
