Summary
Kaeya left the police force 5 years ago when the corruption proved to be too much to bear. He breaks his promise to Jean, to fight alongside her for justice. He decides to find his own way to make a difference. He joins up with a quiet scholar named Dainsleif to start Cat's Eye, a private detective agency. When Jean storms into their office one night with a large sum of money to investigate his estranged brother's connection to a supposedly pacifistic vigilante, he can't help but take the job.
Meanwhile, Diluc starts to get desperate the closer Kaeya gets to learning his secret. Just in the nick of time, Childe, a harbinger he's had a longtime grudge against, offers him safety in exchange for doing jobs for the Fatui.
