Chapter Text
The LORD has spoken of revolution. He has said that there will be battles, that the Earth will quake, that no stone will be left in its place. As the prophet Jeremiah foretold: "I looked at the earth- it was a barren waste; at the sky- there was no light. The fertile land had become a desert; its cities were in ruins because of the LORD 's fierce anger." As the prophet Malachi foretold: "The day is coming when all the proud and evil people will burn up like straw. But for those who obey Me, My saving power will rise on you like the sun and bring healing like the sun's rays."
For now all is calm, for God is with us, and He is our Savior. That I should be able to remain in His presence, and not only be near Him but learn from Him, our Teacher and Healer!
