The Memories that Gathered Dust Bunnies

Summary:

Montgomery Gator is tired. He's so tired of being seen as a vicious predator. As a sadistic freak. As an evil demon who crawled straight out of hell.
He never hurt anyone! He would never hurt anyone.

He never killed anyone.

Especially not HIM.

Work Text:

As amazing, varied and expansive that Freddy Fazbear's mega pizza 'plex was, it too couldn't escape the inevitability of falling into routines.

That day was just that. A regular routine of the same old shit that always happens, on the dot.

Guests were let in, newcomers given a tour, people stopping by to stare at the robotic zoo animals inside their fancy glass cages.

They'd leave to talk with the guests, play with them in their respective games, do a stupid little act to amuse the snot-dripping goblins.

Then they would go up on stage and perform while the crowd went completely mental, shouting Freddy's name and screaming their loud heads off.

After that, the meet and greet would start, where half the customers would immediately bulldoze over each other to get the chance to sniff the vented air from the robot bear.

Meanwhile, Monty would be sitting in the corner of the room and watching from afar, pretty much completely ignored for the rest of the band. Sure, one or two kids would come up to him and act very excited and happy to see him.

He treasured those kids. Knew them by name even. Kinda like Sun knows all the daycare kids' names. They were the only thing that made the slog of a day worth the effort spent.

But it didn't make up for his steady decrease in popularity. If it seemed bad before, then it had gone to shit by that point! He had no idea what was happening. More and more guests were just avoiding him for some reason. It made him furious! He wanted to punch a hole in the wall and shout at everyone. Tell them what assholes they were.

But he knew that wouldn't solve anything. In fact, that would be the last straw… and his last day.

He refused to tell anyone or even slightly show it, but he was terrified of being decommissioned. He knew management was heavily considering it! Not that he had any proof of it… or had heard them talk about it. But the way they treat him like a raging animal, he just knew they were thinking it!

"Hey! Monty."

The gator looked up at Roxy, who was walking over and taking a seat beside him.

"Shouldn't you be out there with yer adorin' fans?"

"Ran out of fans. Seems today's crowd was filled with Freddy heads. And quite a few Chica fans. I guess we got some OGs today."

Monty sighed heavily and crossed his arms, turning away from her and leaning his head against the wall. She frowned at that, not liking how stand-offish he was being.

"Hey… If you wanna sneak off, I won't rat you out. In fact, mind if I tagged along? Shit sucks today."

"You? Skipping out on a meet and greet? Are you feeling a'right?"

"No! I'm feeling like crap! Things… things with Chica have been tense recently. We have had a bit of an argument and now I'm in a shitty mood."

"Damn. Well… as long as you don't tell no one… I think Sun wouldn't mind another visitor."

Roxy looked over at him and smiled at the invitation. To be honest, he really needed to get away from there, so her suggestion was just what he needed.

The two got up and tried to sneak off towards the maintenance tunnels. But as they did, Monty bumped into something, which subsequently caused Roxy to walk into him. That made his glasses fall off his face and clatter to the ground.

When the Glamrocks looked down, they saw a kid standing in the way, picking up Monty's glasses and looking them over curiously. Right away, Monty felt his anger rise. He hated when someone touched his shades. They were very special to him! Meant a lot! And this kid was smearing his greasy fingers all over them.

"HEY! STOP TOUCHIN' THOSE!" He shouted and not so carefully snatched them out of the kids hands. The child did not look pleased about that.

"Give them back!!! I wanna wear them!!! I found them!!!"

Monty huffed angrily and put them back on, glaring down at him.

"Ya don' touch other people's stuff without permission! OH- great, fantastic! Now there are fingerprints all over them! See what ya did!?"

"Monty! Calm down! You'll get in trouble if you yell at a child!" Roxy tried to warn him, watching as the boy grew madder.

"I WANNA WEAR THE GLASSES!!! I WANNA I WANNA I WANNA!!!!!" He suddenly started screeching and stomping his feet, gaining the attention of everyone around.

Including his mother.

A short woman came barreling over, looking like she was ready to kill whoever hurt her precious baby. Roxy groaned and pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Great. A Karen…"

"WHAT DID YOU TRASH CANS DO TO MY SWEET LITTLE ANGEL?!?"

"Yer 'sweet little angel' touched private property and dirtied it with his disgusting little hands!"

"How DARE you talk about my son that way?!? He just wanted to try them on! Is that a crime? Just let him wear them!"

"NO! These are my sunglasses! If they get damaged, it would cost a fortune to replace them!"

"Oh come on! They can't be that expensive. Plus, my little Gabe is so careful and gentle. He won't break them. Just hand them over!"

"NO! FUCK OFF!"

A chorus of gasps rang out through the room, with Roxy hissing Monty's name angrily. He froze and looked around nervously, realizing what he did.

"OH MY GOD! YOU JUST SWORE AT ME AND MY SON! YOU DANGEROUS, VIOLENT BRUTE! YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS WORKING AT A KIDS ESTABLISHMENT! YOU SHOULD BE SCRAPPED!"

"Yeah yeah. Whatever."

"I'm friends with the manager here! I can get you tossed out faster than the leftover pizza! And don't try to act innocent! Everyone knows that you're a fucking mental case! She's told me all about you!"

The reptile felt himself grow more and more pissed as she spoke. He wished he could just knock her lights out and be done with it. Unfortunately, all he could do was stand there and listen to her tirade.

"Oh really? What did she say?"

"That you're nothing more than a troublemaker! You're an unstable nutjob who everyone wishes could just be replaced already! Everyone's just sitting and waiting for you to finally snap and break down another animatronic!"

Monty felt every inch of his body stiffen, a shiver running through his wires and making him feel so suddenly cold.

"... A… Another…?"

A hush blanketed the room, leaving it eerily quiet and tense. Everyone was watching now, including Freddy and Chica. It was like they were all waiting for something big.

"You must either be stupid or a terrible actor! Everyone can tell you're jealous of Fazbear! The way you glare at him leaves nothing up to the imagination! Everyone is just sitting around and waiting for you to try and bump him off! Just like you did that rabbit!"

Monty clenched his fists and stared at her with an indiscernible look covering his face. He didn't say anything. He couldn't say anything. All his words were stuck in his voice box, swirling around like a tornado trying to escape.

"HEY!!! Don't talk to him that way, bitch! You don't know shit about what happened to Bonnie! No one does!" Roxy suddenly piped up as she stepped in front of him and gave the lady an ice cold glare.

"Oh please! It's obvious! It just so happened to 'accidentally' fall in that robot's mini golf place and the footage of the incident mysteriously disappeared? I only heard it second hand from my friend and even I can tell it was so obviously him!"

"SHUT UP, TRAMP!!! GET OUTTA HERE!!!"

As the wolf was handling the lady, a security guard finally made it to the scene and quickly got onto her walkie talkie.

"I'm going to need reinforcement. A lady is provoking Monty and Roxy. She's getting very aggressive. I'm going to try and defuse the situation. Send more security in case Monty has an outburst."

Monty couldn't think straight right then. So many different things were going on around him and it made him feel overwhelmed, on top of the already hurtful accusations he was dealing with. His chest was hurting. It was like a hydraulic press was crushing it. He felt dizzy, confused, weak and exposed. He wanted to get out of there. He wanted to hide.

"How dare you swear at me?! I'll have you both in trouble for this!"

"You're the one who will be in trouble once security gets here! I already con-"

Both the girls were suddenly interrupted as Monty let out a grunt and tossed his sunglasses at the floor. Then he just turned on his heels and ran off towards the maintenance entrance.

Roxy watched him run off, very concerned with that reaction. She quickly picked up his glasses and looked down at them. Fortunately, they were still intact.

Freddy was about to chase after him, but was quickly stopped by Chica. She looked at him seriously and shook her head, knowing what he needed was some space right then. The bear quickly gave in with a heavy, worried sigh.

When security arrived, they confronted the lady and got her to leave the establishment. Meanwhile some other guards were talking with the rest of the band about the situation.

"So what exactly happened?" One guard asked.

"Me and Monty were just heading towards the maintenance entrance, when we accidentally bumped into a kid. He dropped his glasses and the boy picked them up. He snatched them back and kid started yelling, which made his mom angry. She demanded he let him wear the glasses. He refused and swore at her, so she went off about how awful he was and even brought up that stupid fucking rumor!"

They listened to Roxy as she explained. When she mentioned the rumor, they stopped taking note and looked suddenly worried.

"Ah… the Bonnie rumor?"

"Yes!"

"W-well… Do you know where he ran off to?"

"Other than through the maintenance entrance, no clue."

They accepted that answer and went to report to the rest of the guards. Freddy looked over at Roxy with a face of pure worry.

"Do you think he'll be alright?" He asked.

"I don't know…" the wolf muttered quietly.

"Oh he'll be fine! This is just another one of his outbursts! He just needs some time to cool off and-" Chica cut in, laughing nervously as she tried to relieve the mood.

"This was not just one of his outbursts. This one was different. He doesn't get quiet when he gets furious." Roxy interrupted her.

"Well I guess I'm just always wrong then!" She responded back in a sour tone.

"A-anyways! I-I never knew there was a rumor surrounding Bonnie's… uh… decommissioning…" Freddy sounded sad as he mentioned Bonnie. He looked down at the floor, taking a moment before continuing.

"Why would everyone suspect such a thing of Monty? He wouldn't do something like that! He's not a bad guy! Why… can't anyone see that?"

"Look Freddy. I'm totally with you. It's unfair and a huge stretch. He might be a jerk sometimes, but he's not a monster" Roxy agreed with him.

"We have to find him! He deserves our support and I'm sure he needs it right now!"

"Umm… not to be rude, Freddy. But you're probably the last person he wants to see right now" Chica decided to point out. The bandleader seemed to deflate at that, realizing that she was probably right.

"Well there ain't no way I'm letting a useless staff member find him and chew him out!" The wolf growled and crossed her arms angrily.

"Well he's sure not going to be happy seeing any of us!" The chicken said and put her hands on her hips.

That gave Roxy the perfect idea.

*~*~*

"SHE SAID WHAT TO HIM!?!?!?!?"

Sun's screech caused her to cover her ears, letting out a growl of discomfort.

"Sun. I understand you're angry-"

" ANGRY??? I'M FURIOUS!!! Who would say something like that?! What fucking authority does she have to say he's a danger to anyone!?"

She decided to ignore the unexpected curse.

"She doesn't! But this rumor is a widespread thing among the staff. It's been building for a long time. I think it must have been a pretty big deal to him if he reacted like that."

Roxy held out the shades to Sun. He gasped in shock and covered his mouth, unable to believe what he was seeing.

"Monty never goes anywhere without his glasses…"

"Exactly. That's why I came to you."

"I… I don't understand."

"He cares about you a lot. He feels comfortable around you. If anyone would be able to make him feel better, it'd be you. Plus, you're nimble and slick! You could easily sneak around without anyone noticing, especially with how good you are at climbing."

"B-b-b-bu-but… the kids!" Sun motioned over towards the daycare window, where an employee was watching over the kids while Sun stepped out to talk.

"Don't worry. I'll think something up. Tell them you broke or something. Maybe a glitch. I'll come up with a reasonable excuse. I'll stay and keep an eye on them for you if you're worried."

"Y-y-y-you…? Watching… my sun rays…?"

"Listen. The thing about punting them across the room was a joke. I'll be really nice and gentle with them, cross my heart."

Sun stood there a moment, thinking it over. He seemed hesitant, but then he looked down at the glasses again and immediately seemed to make up his mind. He took them from her and gave a quick nod. Then he rushed off towards the maintenance tunnels as fast as he could, bells jingling erratically.

*~*~*

"Moony… you don't believe that rumor, right? Please tell me you don't!"

'I don't even understand how anyone could believe it. He's not the type to punch someone in the face, even if he wants to. I doubt he'd have the heart to push someone to their death.'

"Oh thank goodness. I was worried you'd suspect it to be true."

'I know his type. He talks big but doesn't actually want to get in trouble. He just wants to look badass, not actually be bad.'

"Yeah. I know. He's not some violent-" Sun cut himself off as he heard the sound of a security bot approaching from around the corner. He panicked and quickly hid behind one of the boxes littered around the hallway. They rolled right by, missing him before disappearing again.

'That was close. I should stop talking out loud.'

'We need to find a way around that we can be sure is free of cameras or security.'

'There isn't anywhere like that! Besides the bathrooms, everywhere is monitored heavily!'

'I wouldn't be so sure about that…'

Sun felt confused, not sure what Moon could possibly be referring to. There weren't any surveillance free hallways!

Sun sensed Moon sending a message through their system, making him tilt his head.

'Who did you message?'

'The coolest dude around town and my partner in crime.'

'... … … What?'

After a minute, they heard something coming from above them. Sun looked up just in time to dodge a vent grate falling from above. He stared in surprise before looking back up again. He heard the sound of a cymbal clash before a tiny little robot peeked out. It looked like a mini Music Man!

'Voila!'

'MOON, YOU GENIUS! YOU'RE THE BEST!'

Moon chuckled from the flattery before Sun put the magnetized glasses on his face. Then he clambered up the wall towards the vent. The little Music Man backed up to make room for him, watching as he managed to squeeze himself inside.

"Hey there, little buddy! You haven't seen Monty anywhere, have you?"

They looked at him for a second, seemingly trying to remember if they had. Then they lightly clapped their cymbals and started scuttling off through the ventilation. Sun followed suit.

*~*~*

The lanky, huddled together animatronic watched little Music Man as they fiddled with another vent grate in front of them. He waited patiently until it popped off and they crawled out the opening. Sun shimmied his way to the hole and hoisted himself out, landing on his hands. He then shifted back onto his feet, like an acrobat.

"Thank you, little friend!" He said and waved at the smaller spider-like robot. They clashed their cymbals happily before scuttling back into the vent and disappearing again.

Sun looked around to find himself in one of the guest bathrooms. Without missing a beat, he marched over to the exit and pushed it open.

"Wh-what the…"

'We're in… Bonnie Bowl?'

Indeed they were. The big drawing of the lovable bowling mascot was evidence of that.

'But… Why would he be here? Did our little buddy take us the wrong way?'

"No I… I get the feeling we're going the right way."

'Then that makes no sense. Why would Monty be here?'

"...I have a hunch…"

Sun began walking through the empty bowling hall, wondering why it wasn't open to the gusts. Probably one of many health risks that pop up in this building. It was practically inevitable.

He just continued walking while looking around for any trace of his buddy. While he did, he stopped a moment to inspect a cardboard cutout of Bonnie. It looked old and worn.

'Man… I'm sad I never got to meet him. Bonnie looks like he'd be such a nice guy.'

'We were only introduced to the establishment a little bit before his passing. Not a lot we could have done. But the thought sure is nice.'

'I wonder why no one really talks about him that much. I would really like to learn a bit about him.'

'Honestly… me too. From what little I have learnt, he was generally a friendly, funny guy. Your typical friend with all the dad jokes apparently.'

'Heh… He looks like the type…'

As they were thinking about their late coworker, a noise suddenly pulled them out of their conversation. It sounded like a voice. Sunny quickly moved towards the area he heard it in.

'What was that?'

'Probably Monty, if you're right about your hunch.'

He reached the side bar area with that small stage at the end, looking around and keeping quiet for any more sounds.

And there was one. A sound like a… like a hiccup… or a whine. It gave him pause. A thought came to mind that he had been considering. He hadn't really thought of it as more than a possibility, but that sound made it more of a suspicion.

Sun slowly turned towards the curtains across the room, staring at it nervously.

'You think he's there?'

'He has to be.'

He slowly walked over to the stage and stopped outside it, listening to the subtle sounds of huffing and… some other noise. As silently as he could, he gently pushed the curtain aside and peeked in.

Right there, sitting curled up on the floor with his face in his hands, was Monty. He was…

He was crying.

There was no other logical conclusion. He was, without a doubt, crying. He sobbed quietly into his hands, muffling the noise as he wept.

Sun was left stunned. He almost couldn't believe what he was seeing. He had never ever seen Monty cry before. He's seen him angry, hurt, vulnerable and even scared. But he had never seen him sad enough to sob like he was. It immediately grabbed a hold of whatever part of him would be considered a heart and OBLITERATED it.

'IS HE CRYING?!?!'

His counterpart didn't respond, he just stared in dismay at the sad gator. All he wanted to do was wrap him up and hug the tears away, just like he had done for him.

But he had to be careful. Delicate. He couldn't make any rash decisions. Instead, he carefully moved behind the curtain and closed it softly after him.

"... Mont?"

In an instant, Monty jumped out of his casing and fell over from surprise, landing on his back. Sun gasped and instinctively reached out to help. But the Glamrock quickly pushed himself back up and subtly cleared his throat.

"H-he-h-hey! S-s-sss-sun! Whu-wh-what are… you doin' here?" He obviously tried to sound casual, the tone so fake and put on it was almost alarming.

"... Mont buddy? Are you ok?" Sun asked hesitantly, not sure how he should best go about the situation.

"I-I-I-I-I'm jus' fine! J-ju-just-t… came here to calm d-down! Got real angry today! N-n-nothing sp-pecial!"

Sun just looked at him. He didn't say anything. It may have seemed like he was trying to be incredulous, but in reality he just didn't know how to respond.

But Monty still let out a nervous shudder as he shrank together on the floor under the sun's watchful gaze.

"... … I… I… I'm fine… I swear…" his voice sounded so small, so hurt, so desperate. It was unlike anything Sunny had heard out of his maws. Even when scared, he'd have power behind his tone. Not this time.

"Bestie… pal… you don't have to lie to me. I won't judge you. I won't tell anyone. Moon is here, but he won't tell a soul either. I swear on my life. You're safe to speak your mind."

He stared up at Sun, claws clutching his chest while he had an internal conflict playing out in his head. Sun just waited, slowly moving his hand closer, so as to not frighten him. Monty's expression slowly morphed from that forced pokerface to something more painful and emotional.

Then he wailed and threw himself against the other's chest, hugging onto him with powerful arms that were desperate to hold Sun close and not let him escape. He bawled against his warm metal casing and shuffled closer, practically sitting himself in the other's lap.

Sun sat in surprise for a moment, not having expected that reaction. But after a few moments, he sighed and moved his arms to safely hold Monty back. He hushed quietly and rubbed his back, arms and shoulders in a comforting rhythm. He didn't say anything, just hummed and shushed as he waited for Monty to say something or finish crying. He didn't care how long he'd have to wait. He would.

"I-I-I-... I'M SORRY!!! I-"

"Shhhhhh. You haven't done anything wrong. You can cry with me. It's ok."

"I-I DON'T UNDERST-T-TAND WH-WHY TH-THE-THEY ALL WOULD THINK I DID SOMETH-THING LIKE THAT!!!"

"I know. It's awful. They don't know anything about you. They are all too focused on their own idea of you."

"I'D NEVER DO THAT!!! I WOULDN'T!!! WHY WON'T ANYONE BELIEVE ME!?!"

"I believe you!"

"BUT YOU DON'T CONTROL WHETHER I GET TO LIVE OR NOT!!!"

Sun's grip suddenly tightened around Monty. He became very quiet for a few seconds before softening his hold again.

"Monty… I won't let you be decommissioned. I promise, I'll fight anyone who dares to try."

"... … … Th-thanks, bud…"

They sat in silence for a moment longer, Sun just running his hand down Monty's arm soothingly as they hugged each other.

"... … … … … I would never do something like that to him."

"I know."

"He didn't deserve to…"

Sun perked up in surprise, finding that phrasing a bit peculiar.

"What do you mean?"

"... Bonnie was an amazing fucking guy. It shouldn't have been him. It should have been me!"

He pulled Monty closer, fully seating him in his lap. Then he nuzzled his hair and hummed gently.

"Monty… it shouldn't have been either of you."

"B-but I just… why?! Why do people blame me for his death!?! I would never do anything to hurt Bon!"

"Bon?"

Monty paused, becoming very still in the tall robot's arms as he seemed to be deep in thought. Sun had already put the pieces together, but didn't want to say anything until Monty revealed it himself.

"... … … Yeah. Bon. He was… a really good friend back then…"

The daycare attendant nodded understandingly and shifted a bit, moving them both over to the wall so they could get comfortable. Then he ran his slender fingers through his mohawk and muttered "Really?", Urging him to continue.

"I know it seems weird. I mean, I'm exactly the type he hated. Rude, angry, irresponsible and nasty. But… somehow… We just managed to get along. Maybe it was because I was the first one to start up a chat. It was after this one time-"

Sun let out small, affirming noises while combing through his hair, making sure he knew he had his full attention. Monty's grip loosened.

"It was amazing! You should have been there! I always thought Bonnie was the same as Freddy because they had that same cheery, overly friendly and inoffensive attitude. Tooth-achingly sweet, ya know? But… oh boy was I wrong thinkin' he was a goody two shoes.

I had come here for a party thing. As soon as I came in, I saw a crowd near the entrance. In the middle was Bonnie. He was yellin', and I mean SHOUTIN' at this one man. I don' know what for, but it seemed like he was drunk and it was a kid's party. So that might've been it."

As he spoke, he slipped down further Sunny's body, beginning to slouch uncomfortably. So he just decided to shift around and lay his head in his lap instead. Sun giggled softly and started playing around with his hair, trying to make braids while just listening to the story.

"He was beyond pissed! He demanded the man leave immediately or he'd show him the door himself! After that, security came and handled the rest. And, I gotta be honest, I was almost scared to go in.

But, my stubborn 'show no weakness' mentality took that as a challenge and so I walked up to him. First thing I said? ' How are ya walkin' 'round with balls that heavy? '."

Sun shook his head at that, finding the comment so… Monty.

"He scolded me for the inappropriate comment, but then we kept talkin' and… Well he was pretty freaking cool. He was as nice and shit as I already knew, but he wasn't no pushover! He took zero shit from anyone, including me! But… that's what I liked about him. He was actually tough! Unlike me.

He wasn't a hardass or some rebel. He was a goofy, pun-loving, clumsy, self-confident and friendly bunny. He didn't care if you disliked his jokes, he thought he was a riot! He'd always stand up to dickbags and bullies and generally shitty people. He'd stand up for people who couldn't do it themselves. I… started to admire that after a while…"

"Wow… Bonnie… sounds like he was a wonderful guy! I can tell why you took a liking to him!"

"No kidding! Everyone did! He was best buds with Freddy and Chica! Roxy wasn't really that close to him, but she had her own thing going on back then. Soooo…"

"Oh! He was friends with Chica and Freddy? Weren't those three in the original cast of characters?"

"You got it. Opening week and they were already acting like old friends. It's a surprise I managed to even get close with him at all. He had such zero tolerance to my kind."

"Don't say that! You're not bad at all!"

"Maybe not now. But back then I was awful! He basically had to straighten me out constantly! But… he did it just right, because I never got angry about it."

"Sounds like he had you trained~" Sun joked. Monty started chuckling, making Sun snicker himself. After a moment of that, Monty let out a shaky sigh and sniffled quietly.

"That's why… this hurts so fucking bad. Why? Why did he have to fall? Why couldn't it have been me!? Everyone loved him! He deserved it more!"

Sunny quickly leaned down and picked the gator's face up from his lap, making him turn and face him.

"Neither of you deserved to be decommissioned. It wasn't a choice by some higher power! It… sounded like it just was an accident. I don't know the details so… I don't really know what else to say."

"... Don't worry. No one knows the details. For some reason, Bonnie went to my golf course and… went up to the walkway above. He… he… he b-broke the rrrrailing… a-and…" Monty covered his face with one hand, trying his hardest to not start bawling again. Sun pulled him in for another hug and rubbed his face.

"... Is that why you're here and… not there?"

He didn't answer, just nodded while sniffling sadly.

"Oh Mont… My Mont… I'm so so sorry you have to go through all this. You are such a wonderful, sweet, caring and lovable guy. It's going to be ok. I'm going to talk with someone about this issue and…"

"D-d-d-don't… it… w-won't help…"

"... I'm sure someone can help. I'll talk to whoever I need to so you can work in a safe environment. I won't let you be mistreated like this!"

"... … … … … … Heh."

"What?"

"Ya know… it's kinda funny how our roles are all switched, huh? You've really gotten… a lot more confident. You've grown really tough since we first met. You… you should be proud."

"... I am proud. Of you! You've shown me so much trust and courage! It takes real bravery to show your true feelings. You make me so proud and thankful that I got to be your friend!"

Monty stared at Sun in stunned silence, this strange feeling bubbling up in his chest. It was… he could only describe it as butterflies in his stomach. Is that the feeling people talked about when they fell in love? How could he be falling in love all over again when he already was in love with him.

Maybe hearing those beautiful words of encouragement and support just reinforced his feelings.

I… I love him. I love Sun. I want to spend the rest of my life with him. I want to be with him forever. I'll make him so happy and… proud. I'll make him proud!

"... Thank you. That… means so much…"

Sun and Monty embraced again, the taller one rubbing his back and chuckling happily. He whispered to him.

"We can stay here for as long as you want. Roxy is taking care of the kids and I think she deserves a little lesson for her rude comments about them."

The gator started laughing and squeezed him tightly with a bright grinning.

"God that's so evil! Now it's my turn to be proud! By the way… you look really good in my shades~."

The daycare attendant squeaked and stiffened, turning really warm all of a sudden. He completely forgot he was wearing them. Monty chuckled warmly and held him closer.

He loved Sun so much.

Notes:

HEAVY ASS PART, AM I RIGHT?!

I had a wonderful idea about what Monty's relationship really was with Bonnie and thought to myself "Wow. I feel like shit. Let's get writing!"
