Gotham is trending.
Damian was the first to see the “inflammatory accusations”, as he likes to call them. He was benched due to an injury he suffered last patrol. As expected, he was greatly against being forced to stay in the cave while the rest of the team deal with cases, but his Father assured him that he wouldn’t be inactive for long. “Injuries only get worst if you don’t take care of them early on, Damian.” Tt. Damian has seen his father try to go on patrol with far worse injuries than that Damian has been benched for. It was truly unfair.
Regardless, Damian listened to his father, for once. Mainly because he can actually see the sense in his father’s concern.
At first, Damian spends his time alone in the cave training, but he quickly finds it to bore him. His initial reaction was to meditate, but on his way to his usual cave-meditation spot, he spots the phone his Father gave him days before. Damian has barely used it, finds it useless, as much as Father and his siblings told him it would be “entertaining.” …He supposes what he needs right now is exactly that. Entertainment.
He opens the phone and questions what to do. What does one usually do with a phone? He’s heard about “Youtube” from his new classmates (Father has recently enrolled him in school to keep up his civilian ID, it’s quite uncomfortable.) He downloads the app and creates an account. The first thing that pops up is “Cute Kitten Videos.”
Well, he supposes, this phone thing is not so bad.
After about an hour of watching kittens do rather stupid but adorable things, Damian’s feed gives him a new, trending video.

“What…” Damian can’t help but think of the vulgar words he’s heard his brothers say. He quickly taps on the video. This video is about his Father! They’re accusing him of something as serious as the crime of child endangerment! He must see what this is about.
Within two minutes of the video, the narrator points the viewers to a ‘Twitter thread’ that started this conversation. Damian decides that to fully understand the situation, he must read this ‘thread’ himself.
Within seconds he is outraged. How dare…! How dare…! He cannot put his frustrations to words. How dare a stranger make such accusations based on assumptions and a lacking story! This… he must do something about this. He has half the mind to hack this app and find out for himself who was responsible for saying such things about Damian’s own father.
Within his outrage, he finds himself looking at his options. He could find who this person is and threaten them to delete this foolishness. He could get the site taken down. He could appear as Robin to shut down these theories. He could appear as Damian Wayne to show support to Robin and Batman. He could…
He does the most reasonable things he can think of, and message the family.
The whole thing, does not, in fact, die over.
