Summary
Being the daughter of a notorious mobster in Chicago, hasn't always made life easy for Isabella Mastrantonio (Izzy). When her father is responsible for an unspeakable act that has Izzy in tears, she is determined to sever all ties with him at the tender age of eighteen.
Away from her father, she builds a simple life for herself, cooking in a small but popular restaurant. There she has a literal run in with one Thranduil Oropherion, a cop who is investigating none other than her father and all of his criminal activities. She doesn't know what he does other than that he is a policeman, and he knows not who she is... at first. Izzy is instantly smitten with Thranduil, but finds it hard to believe he would be remotely interested in her, seeing how she is a plus-sized woman and she considers him nothing short of an actual god. Her insecurities run deep within her. Yet Thranduil seems very interested... or is he solely interested in her because of what she could mean for his investigation?
