While cleaning out Morgan's parent's attic, he finds a chest filled to the brim with glass balls.
His parents died, and the attic was all he was left in their will.
Morgan isn't sure how the chest got up here but whoever moved it here did it without his parent's knowledge.
There are some villain names on the glass orbs, hero names, and even people who wronged the Sterlings at some point in their life. When Morgan fumbles with the orb, it falls out of his hand and hits the floor, shattering.
He is expecting to find a glass mess but instead finds (insert lost hero, villain, or civilian). Morgan is certain that his parents were not heroes but rather villains using whoever's power it was to turn to these people into glass balls
