As I sat down in the chair in the integration room one of the detectives on the case came in and he smiled and spoke.
“Hello sorry to call you in but we need to know the specifics on such a case as this.”
“I guess I should start with my name?”
“Yes, that would help.” Said the detective.
“It all starts about two months before the entrance exam- “ I stated.
As I was fast asleep, I heard.
“Alright up and at em babe”
“Let me sleep Hisashi.” Was my response to the injustice that was waking me
“Babeee Were going to the raid happening on the Shei Hassaikai base that we found remember?” said Hisashi.
And that was what kicked me into gear as I grabbed my jumpsuit of the banister and as I was trying to hop into It quickly my husband wouldn’t stop laughing at me. I sent him a quirk powered glare and he still laughed at me.
- “Can we skip to the start of the raid? “Asked the detective.
“Sure- “
As our truck pulled up to the point where we were supposed to meet everyone my gut told me that something was wrong. But everything seamed to be going to plan the only thing that was wrong was that Rosemary was late.
“Rosemary?” asked the detective
I answered, “A underground hero.”
“Ahh ok please continue.” Said the detective
But then I heard the sounds of a motorbike and saw then come around the corner.
I called out, “what took so long?”
They winced and replied, “My car broke down had to pull my bike out of the garage.”
“Next time try to pay attention to your car please.” I said annoyed and looked over at the clock to count down the minutes before we start the raid. One of the police on standby started to walk towards the door.
As he knocked, he said, “Open up it’s the police!”
And there was nothing it was quite enough that I wished I brought a needle to test the old saying. As the police got ready to speak again one of the newer heroes said
“Fuck it!”
And kicked the door down. I sighed and told the kid, “congrats kid you just let everyone know that we are coming in. Everybody keep an eye out for a ambush Rock Lock with me were going left Endeavor and newbie go left.” And as I started to walk away, I heard from Endeavor and Rock Lock.
“Will do” from Rock Lock
"And why do I have to deal with the Newbie?” from Endeavor.
I replied with, “Because you are the least likely run into anything since you’re going up”
And I left down the staircase before I could hear his response. As Rock Lock and I went down the stairs we heard a shuffling like something being dragged so we decided to move a little quicker. As we turned the corner ready to fight for our lives, we saw a kid? -
“A kid?” Asked the detective
“Yeah, I know unexpected right?’ I responded.
“Yeah, continue please.” He spoke
-so, I asked “kid you ok do you need help to get out of here?”
The kid stared at me like I was the only hope he had for living. Honestly it was kind scary because what could make a kid act like that?
“Kid?” I said
Now that I was examining him, I notice that he had some kind of dark liquid on him. It wasn’t blood it kind of looked like mud, but it was lighter in some areas and darker in others.
Rock Lock told me, “Take the kid and go ill clear this level and then call for backup.”
“You sure?” I asked
“Go.” he said

As I started approaching the kid, he started to run at me. I leaned back expecting a possible attack. What I wasn’t expecting was a hug. “Alright kid let’s get you out of here” as I put my hand on his shoulder, I realized that the liquid was hot like burning hot. So, I took my capture weapon and started to wipe it off of his face and he opened his eyes, and I was frozen. -
“You ever hear the phrase ‘eyes like the universe’?” I asked the detective
“Every once in a while. Why?” he answered.
“That’s what their eyes were like.” I spoke
As I realized I was distracted I started moving the kid and I towards the stairs. He was surprising really cold even though he had the burning liquid on him earlier and I realized he had no burn scars. So, I decided that it must have been his quirk “can you do stairs, or would you like me to carry you?” he looked at me and held up two fingers. “Carry you?” I asked. they nodded. And as I swept him off his feet he let out a small squeak I tried to not jostle him and move as fast I can. As I burst out the main entrance the surrounding heroes and police were surprised by the kid, and I called out “where is the paramedic”
“Over there near Present Mic.” said the police kid from earlier.
Oh, good I don’t have to deal with other people. As I was walking towards Hisashi the kid decided that would be the best time to stop. I looked behind me at him and he was frozen staring Hisashi. “You ok kid? Would you like to take a break and sit down?” the kid nodded and started to sit down where he was standing so I moved him over to the grass. Was he injured before we found him? I signaled Present Mic over to me so we could look over the kid.
All of a sudden, I heard over the comms, “Backup need ASAP sup floor 4 I have tangos on my six.’ From Rock Lock
I leaned over and told the kid “Hey I need to go help a friend this hero her is Present Mic could you let him help you?” he nodded as a response and latched onto Hisashi like he was a lifeline. And as I ran towards the doors and as I was taking a right, I saw Endeavor fly through the hall I yelled to the newbie to, “Follow us do not engage unless we say it is safe to do you understand?
“Yeah, yeah let’s get to the fighting already.” I heard from behind me.
Its offical I hate newbies all they want to do is get rich fast or beat the shit out of people maybe I should take up nezus offer on teaching? Anyway, as I looked, and I saw that at the moment we had reached sublevel 3 one more and I could hear something get slammed into a wall. I decided that picking up the pace would be a good idea. And as me and the newbie slammed through the door, we saw that out of 9 villains 7 had been nocked out one was fighting Rock Lock and the other two were fighting Endeavor. So, I activated my quirk on the one Rock Lock was fighting and shot my capture weapon out restraining him right as Rock Lock hit him with a devastating right hook. And as I turned towards Endeavor and the newbie, I saw that they took down the other two even though one was severely burnt. And at that moment I started to smell smoke and turned to my left realizing endeavor managed to set the wall on fire I yelled out “Everyone Move Out of The Building!”
“Oh, Shit the Walls on Fire.” Yelled the newbie.
“Ohh Really I never noticed.” Rock Lock said sarcastically
“You’re both pretty. Can we get out of the burning building now?’ I asked.
“Yeah, that’s probably the best idea.” Endeavor intervened.
And as we all started heading up the stairs the floor on the third level collapsed as soon as we all got off of it and the stairs started to crumble so we all ran as fast as we can to get to the first door or window. It was a window I jumped through first breaking the glass with the others right behind me.
- “As you know we all were slightly injured I have healed almost fully as have the others” I told the detective.
“Good to know back to the story please.”
As we moved away from the building towards the officers with the villains in tow all wrapped up in my capture weapon, we meet up with the police almost as soon as the building started to collapse in on itself. I put the villains down to the left of the second police car and started to walk over to the kid and my husband.
“Hey kid I told you that he was a good hero.” I called out to the kid. He gave me a wobbly smile. I noticed that the liquid was starting to run down his body again. Maybe a trauma reaction or a forced activation quirk from being in a high-tension environment.
“Fit as a fiddle if a little malnourished and brunt on the edges.” Hisashi told me.
I looked over to the kid and saw that he was trying to wipe the liquid off of him so I asked “Hey kid what is that? Is it hurting you?”
The kid looked over and opened his mouth and said, “It’s Coffee.”
Coffee? What’s Coffee I wondered oh well we can ask more questions later. I helped him in the back of the ambulance and was closing the doors when he asked
“Stay with me please?”
I looked over and said, “Of course kid.”
-Present day-
- “okay I think we can end this interview here could you ask Present Mic to come in next please?”
“of course, I’ll go get Hisashi I hope you have a good day.” I told the detective as I stood up and walked out of the door.
