Honestly, I should've known this was going to be troublesome. No, actually... I knew it from the get-go, I mean, doing a variety show with that guy? And a show that is known for pulling weird challenges out of the blue to boot? This was bound to give me a headache.

But being a public figure (especially an idol), there are some liberties that you simply aren't allowed to take. Still, to think that bastard would go along with the shenanigans that those two hosts pulled...

I suddenly felt like drinking a can of beer, what a mess..

-Moondae-ssi, we've just been invited to partake in the 100th aniversary episode of the "Stars to the Test!" show! We've already scheduled the shooting, but the final word is yours.

...Shouldn't you have asked before scheduling? Whatever. Well, it's not like there's any disadvantage to taking up the offer, despite being a little bizarre sometimes, the show is prestigious enough and it's quite simple in concept.

- Sure, let's go through with the offer. When is the shooting?

Hold on, doesn't this show..

- It's in three days! Oh, and I forgot to mention something. As this show is known for including different celebrities every episode, Cheongryeo-nim from Vtic was invited as the second participant. But don't worry, he agreed as long as Moondae-ssi attends.

- Hello Junior, it's been a while.- Cheongryeo greeted me and shook my hand.

- It really has been, senior.- And I was hoping it stayed that way, dumbass.

Whatever, let's just get this over with. Honestly, nothing too bad should happen. Despite being a bastard, Cheongryeo knew how to behave in front of cameras better than anyone, he didn't regress so many times for nothing, after all. Besides, if anything inconvenient happens, it can be simply cut off from the footage.

- Hello to everyone and welcome once again to.- and the hosts said in unision: - Stars to the Test!

As always, variety show hosts are energetic to the maximum. Maybe Lee Sejin could be one in the future.

- Dear viewers! Today is an incredibly special episode. You may not believe it, but today marks the 100th EPISODE OF OUR SHOW!!.- And with the shouts of the hosts, the shooting studio was filled with a rain of confetti.

The two hosts (a long retired solo male Idol, and a middle aged comedian) reminisced for a long time in celebration of the aniversary, showing nostalgic compilations of past memorable episodes. This show was simple in concept: Get two or more celebrities in order for them to interact, they could be Idols, models, actors, etc. Through the show, they will do variety-show-typical activities with increasing difficulty in regards to a certain theme, which is completely random and decided by drawing a card from a box.

- And for this special, we have gathered two incredible figures in the Idol industry! With jaw dropping looks, talent, and charisma, they have climbed to the top of kpop stardom and taken the world by storm. Welcome! Vtic's Cheongryeo and Testar's Park Moondae!!!

We entered the yellow-ish studio while bowing to the camera, and after giving our respective greetings and introductions, the moment of truth came.

- Ahh, truly! They are so refreshing, is this what it means to be a top Idol? Their sole presence is a source of entertainment for us commoners, haha!

- Now, the moment of truth has come! Not because this is our annviversary special does that mean that we're going to break our tradition. Here we have the concept box, around which we'll center today's activities around. - Now then... who should habe the honors?

- Haha, of course it should be my junior. It should be the duty of the senior to make way for their juniors.- Cheongryeo said with a smile in his face.

Wow, this guy is really shameless.

- Oh, are you sure, senior?.- Two can play this pleasantries game, after all.

- Oh, of course.

- Wow you two~ Don't tell me you talk this way while in private? We all know you're friends! This is our anniversary, don't make it look like a business meeting.- The older hosts said while patting my back while the former Idol laughed a bit nervously, hmm... maybe he's scared of Cheongryeo.

- Haha, sorry. I guess it's just a habit, after all, my junior here is a bit grumpier in private.

- I'll ignore that, senior.- I was followed by laughter.- Then, I'll take out the card.

I walked toward the box, and I had to be honest, this was the most nervewracking part of the show. The concepts were completely random, ranging from comedy to survival to dance.. Whatever came up, would determinate how much I would resent variety shows in the future.

- Aaand the result is.. Oh wow, Moondae-ssi what's with that face? Hahahahaha.

No, I'm sorry. What? What the hell? There's just no way these guys really put this theme in here. I mean, what if the guests were a female Idol and a male Idol? Or did they just do this because we came? You've got to be fucking kidding me. Besides..

There's just no way I'm doing two hours' worth of challenges that are 'romantic' with this bastard. I'd rather die.

I looked back at Cheongryeo, maybe he would know what I'm thinking. After all, participating in such a fanservice-like scenario would cause unnecesary trouble: Misled shipping, unwanted rumours, and most importantly: I was going to kill the director of this fucking show.

However.. Why was he still smiling amusedly? Actually, he don't seem unpleased at all. What the hell is this son of a bitch thinking?

- Hahaha! Moondae-ssi really has talent with concepts, after all~ To think he would pull the Romance card of all, this one has been a recent addition and has never been pulled!.- said the younger host.

- This episode is really special, don't you think? Who'd think we'd see two idols flirting it out for our anniversary~ What an honor.- Exclaimed the older host while laughing. 

Yup, that scene better get cut. Flirting it out, seriously? 

- But what do our guests think? It is rumoured that you're quite close, but this is quite beyond that.

- Hmm.. well, me and my junior have known each other for a while, so this could be quite fun. I'm just wondering if he'll really go through with this..

- Oh, what do you mean?

- Well.. My junior can be quite reserved, so it's hard to imagine him in such a scenario, haha.

Is this guy challenging me? Shit, if he cooperated we could've just asked the staff to change the topic and cut the scene, but why is he going along with this?

- Woow~ Hahaha!! The shock must have moved Cheongryeo-ssi, the heart doesn't lie, does it?

As embarassing as this is, I chose this song because it was "cutesy" by default, and the fact that it's a 'legendary' performance of mine would drive the attention away from the fact that I'm dancing and singing for this guy while trying to make him flustered.

- Ah, me too. I- like you~ The feeling of my.. heart running. It's like Pop Corn!

- Oh my god, he's stumbling. Fighting Moondae, you can do it!

- Wow, look at that, his ears are red.

I really wish these two would shut up, I'll go insane at this rate. The good part is that this choreography is so easy that I could do it half asleep, and the song isn't difficult at all. The bad part, is that I have to make eye contact with that guy but it's too embarassing and I don't want to give him the satisfaction.

I went up to him and dragged him with me to where I was dancing. The song went into an instrumental break, so I could do whatever with the dance.

I grabbed him by the hands and spinned him around to the beat, I lead him into a pseudo-salsa style which weirdly fit Fluffy Sweet's song.

- Wooow! Moondae used a hidden card, does he want to end it quickly?

I spinned him again and leaned him down with my hand on his back when the beat briefly stopped.

Soon the studio was filled with applause, and honestly, it was the least they could do. This will definitely be on the top of my most shameful and regreted moments of my life.

I looked down and saw Cheongryeo smiling smugly, he looked like he was holding back his laughter.

- Wow, really... Junior definitely delivered.. haha.

Oh, don't you dare laugh. He's having way too much fun with this, I'll get revenge for sure, so take that ^^ look off your face.

- Then! "Getting to know each other" is our next section. For this section, Cheongryeo-ssi will have to guess if the following statements about Moondae-ssi are true or not, and if he fails, he'll have to go through with a punishment, which Moondae-ssi will choose.

- There are a lot of props in this box. Moondae! Go ahead and choose one for the punishment.

I suddenly felt a big smile coming to my face. The world isn't so unfair, after all. I turned to Cheongryeo, he was still smiling pleasantly, but I noticed his smile freezing a little when Host 2 mentioned the punishment.

- Hmm.. go easy on me, junior.

- Oh? Does senior think he will get many answers wrong? After so many years of knowing each other, I would expect more from you.

- I'm quite confident, actually. Maybe you won't even have to think of a punishment.

Sadly, what he says is quite true. I thought back to when this guy kidnapped me.. back then, he was able to impersonate me accurately for days. But it's no fun if he just answers some questions correctly and gets away happily..

So junior still remembers that. He can be quite petty at times.

Cheongryeo was sitting on a chair, and in front of him, was the younger host holding cards up.

He began to look back at Moondae's Pop Con mini performance, that was a real surprise. Actually, he didn't think his junior would go along with this theme at all. Obviously, he already knew that this was rigged, and even though at first he hesitated to do such an scandalous concept, he found that he was starting to care less and less about taking risks about his public image.

And of course, seeing Moondae-ssi flustered was a big plus. It's hard to pop junior's calm facade.

- Alright, Cheongryeo-ssi! Here comes the  first statement.

[ Whenever Park Moondae is disatisfied with something, he clenches his fists ]

- That's a fast answer~ Why do think it's true?

After the issue with the former Main vocalist of Vtic and Park Moondae's confinement, Shin Jaehyun noticed that everytime they met, Moondae would briefly clench his fists.

It was pretty funny, it seemed like he didn't even take note of it. Junior has some quirks about him that he doesn't notice, no one can have total control over themselves, not even Park Moondae.

And to his side, his junior who seemed to be itching to hit him with that toy hammer, clenched his hands slightly.

- And.. correct! According to Testar's members, Moondae-ssi clenches his fists when a dish goes wrong, when someone proposes they watch a horror movie, and when someone asks for him to do aegyo.

- Pfft! That's what we made him do last segment, we should run back the cameras and check the footage.

*They later found out that Moondae did indeed clench his fists when Cheongryeo told him to do a cute concept.

- Don't worry Moondae, you'll get him next time.

- Haha! Alright, next one is...

[ Park Moondae has always had a talent for singing ]

Does his previous life as Ryu Gunwoo count? I doubt it, Moondae-ssi wouldn't leak any of that information, even if it were merely hinted at. As Ryu Gunwoo, junior was an university student, so it would be unlikely... Hm, I can't seem to think of an answer for this one.

Park Moondae hit Cheongryeo on the head as soon as he answered that he didn't know the answer. And with some force, too.

- Hey Moondae, you should wait for when we say it's incorrect~

- Oh, right.. sorry.

- So Cheongryeo doesn't know the answer~ Well, if you asked me, I would answer that Moondae has always had a talent for singing.

- Yeah, me too. I mean, he has such a nice voice that it's hard to imagine him singing badly..

- Maybe he found a genie and wished for singing abilities.

- Haha, oh well. As for this statement regarding Moondae-ssi.. it's true! This one is quite special, because this information was given to us by an anonymous friend of Moondae-ssi's.

- That's right~ Testar's members contacted us with a close friend of Park Moondae's, and he told us that he always had the talent required for singing. Tell us about it, Moondae!

A friend of his'? Oh, it must be the original Park Moondae.

Cheongryeo glanced at Moondae, he seemed to be thinking about something. Maybe it wasn't true that he always had a talent for singing, he became an Idol with Park Moondae's body after all, not Ryu Gunwoo's. His junior began talking.

- Uh, well. I've always liked to sing, but I didn't really develop a good voice until I started to think of pursuing a music career. But the person you contacted.. yeah, he would definitely say I've always had talent.

- Oh~ your friend must know you for a long time, then. Does Cheongryeo-ssi have someone like that?

- Hm... there are people like that, but I prioritized the relationship with my members. Sometimes they make up for 100 Friends, and there's Moondae junior, of course.

Variety show chatter is a very typical thing in kpop culture, but it's still something Cheongryeo would like to avoid if possible. After going through so many regressions, he couldn't help but avoid situations that weren't necessary for his growth as an Idol.

Yet, here I am. Well, as junior said, it's good to get used to a life where not everything is expected.

Moondae was still standing by Cheongryeo, and he was sporting the very definition of a Tibetan-Fox-expression.

Then, Park Moondae made a request to the hosts.

- Then, what if I change the punishment for the final question?

- Ohh! And what would you change it to?

- Well..

Moondae walked over to the box and pulled out a water gun. Then, with an innocent smile on his face, he continued talking.

- How does a bath sound for the final one?

This bastard just won't get the answers wrong... It was supposed to be his time to suffer, but why am I on the spotlight again?

If things are going to continue being like this, I might as well enjoy the last moments of this segment.

The hosts reacted to my statement with glee.

- Ohohoho! I love the idea, Moondae~

- Haha... Moondae-ssi gets bold for the final round.

Host 2 still seems scared of the consequences of messing with Cheongryeo. Host 1, however, is as bold as ever.

- Then again, if Cheongryeo answers this incorrectly, he does deserve to get a bath.

- That's right. For the final one, instead of saying if a statement is true or false, Cheongryeo will have to answer a question! Which is...

[ When is Park Moondae's birthday? ]

Oh.. I can keep my hopes up. Why would he know, in the first place. But then again, this guy can be weird and unexpected sometimes.

- That's easy, junior's birthday is on December...

Shit, he knows it after all.

- 8th.

Cheongryeo stood there with a confident face, as if he hadn't said anything off.

But that can't be right, december 8th isn't Park Moondae's birthday, in other words, the date that is public knowledge, and the one that is always celebrated. That date is december 15th.

December 8th is.. Ryu Gunwoo's birthday, in other words, my real birthday.

- Oh wow! Cheongryeo-ssi, that's not the answer~

- Well, at least he got the month right.

Cheongryeo glanced at me briefly, with a knowing look on his face. What?

- Haha, ah.. I can't believe I got it wrong, I'm so sorry, junior. Even though I always congratulate you on your birthday, it must've slipped my mind.

No, he obviously knows he didn't get it wrong. And now I can confirm that he knows the other birthday date too, Why would he say the other one, then? How does he know? Or, even if he knew previously, how come he remembers..?

I grabbed the water gun and pointed it to him, he was still smiling as he always does, but somehow now it made me even more nervous. Crap, I can't concentrate.

I shoot the water straight at him, except.. a lot of the water missed and he didn't get that wet. He ended up with drenched hair and his shirt was parcially wet.

- Ah~ Moondae-ssi, what happened? In the end, you decided to be merciful.

- Ah, my aim failed me in the last minute, I wasn't aiming for benignity in particular.

- Still, thank you junior, I thought I was going to have smeared makeup all over my face.

- Puwahaha! That would've been a good revenge.

As the hosts kept talking I glanced briefly, and when he glanced back, I looked away. I felt weirdly about this guy, he's throwing me off.

Cheongryeo didn't end up getting that drenched, so it wasn't necessary for him to change. Though they did give him a towel for his hair.

After the "getting to know each other" segment, they gave us a quick 20 minute break. I approached Cheongryeo who was sitting on a comfy chair on a corner while drying his hair.

- Hey.

- Oh, junior.

We could talk informally now as there wasn't anyone near enough that could listen to our conversation. Honestly, even though I'm used to it after so many years, faking amicability with this guy for an hour or more gets tiring.

- How are you doing so far? With you being so fixed on every little detail that could harm your career, I would think you don't necessarily prefer this kind of show.

- You go straight to the point as always, Moondae-ssi. Hmm.. well, I guess I don't mind it that much anymore?

Shin Jaehyun did seem to be more relaxed compared to before, back then he seemed to want to have everything in control. But still..

- Alright, but don't you think the theme is too much? I know that fans like seeing two male idols do this kind of stuff, but still...

- Haha, don't be so stuck-up, junior. This is normal in the business, you should know it.

- No, wait.. Could it be that you knew beforehand?

Cheongryeo stood up from his chair and loomed over me. Even though our height difference wasn't as big as the one I had with Big Sejin, Cheongryeo always had a very imposing pressence, so he appeared taller than he actually was.

- Well.. because it's needlessly troublesome. And more importantly, the whole thing is uncomfortable..

- What?

- It could be troublesome, but that is something manageable. Now the uncomfortable part.. I'm not particularly uncomfortable. So there was no reason for me to refuse, really.

- No, why are you acting like this? Isn't it obvious that avoiding this altogether was much easier? And how could you not be uncomfortable?

- You are the only one making a fuss out of this, junior. These are all parts of our job, or could you be possibly mixing up your career with your emotions?

- Don't get your emotions mixed with your life as an Idol. In this show, Idol Cheongryeo and Idol Moondae are approaching each other in a romantic manner. But could it be that you think of this as an interaction between Shin Jaehyun and Park Moondae instead?

Huh? This bastard is giving me a headache, I just said that I thought this was uncomfortable, what is he going on about? I know that we're just playing out our Idol personas but..

Was that the Idol Cheongryeo answering? When he got nothing to win from that? This guy isn't telling the whole truth either. He might want to act as if he can completely control and prioritize his emotions, but that isn't always the case.

- Moondae-ssi and Cheongryeo-ssi! We're about to resume the shooting, please come to the studio!

- Remember, junior. This might not be so bad as you're making it out to be, you should get some fun out of it too.

- Now~ we've only got two segments left. Ah, I'm kind of sad, I'm having so much fun that I don't want them to leave.

- Right? Honestly, when I heard these two were coming, I got kind of scared. I mean, they're such renown artists that I didn't want them to leave with a bad impression.

- Puwahaha, Moondae is great. By the way, you called us seniors, it feels nice~ I can see why you guys would want to keep calling each other by honorifics.

- Haha well, when me and Moondae-ssi met we started by calling each other that, and afterwards it just felt natural to keep it that way. Though it would be interesting to hear a "Cheongryeo-hyung".

- Maybe not, senior.

- Well, I tried.

- Now without further ado, let's present the next segment~

- So far, we've had Courting and Getting to know each other. So it's only right that we now have..

Getting together, right? I mean, it's what would make most sense. What would they even do for that, though?

- It's the kissing stage, haha~

- Oh, but you won't actually kiss haha. Unless we want to get sued.

- For this segment, we mixed the Pocky Game with some Love Trivia~

- First of all, we will give you 6 hypothetic romantic scenarios submitted by fans for you to answer. You will alternately answer these, and the one who isn't answering will have a Pocky stick in his mouth.

- Once the person answers, the other person will pass the pocky stick for him to hold, and will answer the next question. The catch is, for every wrong answer you give, you will have to bite the pocky stick once.

Oh, wait.. There's no real danger, then. I mean, even if we get some of them wrong, all we need to do is bite the cookie very little and we'll be fine. Though thinking about how the fans will react to this whole Pocky thing (this whole damn episode, actually) is.. troublesome.

- Do you understand, then?

- Ah, yes. More or less.

- Alright, then you two can sit over there and we'll start~

They gave us a pocky box and we moved over to the couch that was in the middle of the studio while host 2 sat in front of us with the cards in his hands.

- So who'll start?

- I think senior should.

- Alright then, put the pocky in your mouth~

Right, I forgot this game is strangely specific. I took out a pocky stick from the box and put the chocolate side in my mouth. I felt kind of silly but at least it was a pretty easy game. Host 2 read out the first card.

- Cheongryeo-ssi, let's say your hypothetical partner has to study for her finals, but she has to balance her part-time work to pay her tuition and doesn't have time. What would you do to help?

- Hmm.. I think she should quit her job and concentrate on her studies. I could pay her tuition.

...

- Haha, right, we forgot this guy is rich. To be honest, it's not a bad answer. If I were the girlfriend I'd be happy~.- Said the older host.

- Well, while it's not a bad answer, I think your partner wouldn't like to depend on you that much, she seems very hardworking. The actual answer that the fan (who submitted this) wanted was "I would like for my boyfriend to reassure me and help me organise myself, I value my independency so I would just want some help in the mental aspect".

Cheongryeo leaned over to take the cookie. As he carefully tried to bite the Pocky, I could feel his breath ghost over mine. I could count his eyelashes, notice how clear his damn skin was. And overall, I could notice how he looked at me in a way that he doesn't look at anyone else.

How did it take me so long? Well, it makes sense. Since he is such a weird and dangerous guy, I guess the thought of him having feelings for me was never in my mind. And it never would have been until now.

Cheongryeo took a bite out of the pocky stick and certainly... Now it wasn't any longer than a toothpick. I guess there is no choice now.

- Oh my god, it's happening. Cheongryeo-ssi, go ahead~

Now I didn't need anyone to point it out for me, as Cheongryeo approached me to take the pocky, I could feel my ears getting hot. I wonder since when I've felt this way, because really, if I could choose someone to fall for, this guy would be the very last.

As I was thinking, Cheongryeo took the pocky in his mouth and I could feel his lips lightly over mine.

It wasn't a kiss, it was too light of a touch to be called that. It was more of a peck on the lips that lasted but a second. But when I looked over to Cheongryeo and saw that his ears were slightly flushed too, that hardly mattered.

I realised how much of a scandal this would cause when aired, the reactions from the fans and the possible articles. But honestly, as before, I couldn't care right now. I was in a very strangely light state.

Cheongryeo took the cookie from me and ate the remaining of it. I became aware of the screams of the hosts that were happening in the backgroung this whole time.

I didn't dare make eye contact with Cheongryeo, that could wait. Honestly, this whole thing could've waited, he didn't need to embarass me on public television to confess his dumb feelings.

But then again, ignoring the mess that this would cause afterwards and even right now, this... is not that bad.

Chapter Text

It's safe to say that Cheongryeo's priorities were never love. Over the many regressions that he went through, he became consumed by the perfectionist ideal of a perfect and flawless Idol career. Things such as dating, or even falling in love, were immediately discarded from his mind.

Even now, love is not something that is necessary or relevant in his life (honestly, few things are anymore, the pass of time has made sure to kill the sense of importance of a lot of things in Shin Jaehyun's life). But Park Moondae is a strange case.

Saying he loves him feels weird on the tongue, it's such an unexplored and foreign thought. Without a doubt, his junior poses as a unique figure in his life, one that no one else could hope to replace (and there wouldn't be any need). However, Cheongryeo knows that when he stares at Moondae, at his frown, his temperate and wise eyes, or listens to his calm and soft spoken tone; he knows that when he takes note of those feautures, an unexplored sensation blossoms in him.

Whatever that sensation that he feels is called, Cheongryeo can tell that he longs for Park Moondae. Even against all impracticality and inefficiency, his eyes come back go his junior.
And now, the sight of his junior, with a slightly blushing face and unusually open expression, is a warm reminder of unexplored emotions.

As expected from junior, he realised it all with a simple answer.

Now, when he accepted to come into this show, he didn't think that they were going to kiss on live television... And honestly, he should've thought more about the whole kiss thing.

Haha, this is going to be so scandalous. At least I can trust in junior's diligence.

But seeing as when they parted from the brief kiss, and after he ate the cookie, Moondae was seemingly flustered and didn't make eye contact... He realised that maybe the feelings that he had for his junior weren't so unnameable after all.

Park Moondae still seemed wary of whatever stunt this show would pull, and honestly, it was justified.

As they both covered their eyes, several footsteps and heavy materials could be heard.

The loud sound of violins and string instruments playing was suddenly heard. From the corner of Cheongryeo's eye, he could see Moondae jump slightly from the exaltation.

Behind them was a tall altar with flowers. A host came up up to them and put a veil on Moondae and gave Cheongryeo the bouquet of flowers.

What an odd mix...

And accordingly, what the strings were playing was... a wedding march.

- Congratulations on your wedding, you two!

I've got to give it to them, they actually made junior gape. I'm a bit surprised too.

Cheongryeo passed me the bottle and seriously, what do I do with this? Drink it?

- Now, Moondae-ssi~

- Right. I, Park Moondae, vow to also support senior's career, to try and overlook the fact that he doesn't know my birthday, and to try and stand him for the sake of his dog. Here, senior.

I passed the milk bottle to him with a smirk on my face. I hate to admit it, but in the in the end, this was pretty fun. And judging by the slight mirth on Jaehyun's smile, he was having fun too.

- And now I declare you two Idol and Idol, You may... drink the bottles? We didn't plan this through, huh?

For some reason I felt a little lighthearted, maybe the sillyness of this whole situation got to me. We interwined our arms and drank a toast.

- Woooo!

The string instruments resumed playing and began to play louder. As for the banana milk, it wasn't very good, but it seemed like Cheongryeo wanted to do a bottoms up so here we are. When we finished, the hosts were closing the shooting.

- And with that we resume the 100th anniversary of our show! Thank you viewers for your support, we hope to see you a thousand episodes more.

- And thanks to our amazing guests that went through it all in this short span of time, they are certainly professional entertainers, give them a round of applause~

The staff gave a round of applause and we followed along out of courtesy. It feels like I've been a whole day in here, to think it's only been a few hours is very strange.

The shooting finally ended and we exited the studio after doing small talk with the staff and hosts. There was some teasing here and there, but one thing stood out, as it was actually pretty important.

- Haha, this ended up being more scandalous than we intended, so it's going to be pretty talked about when it comes out. We'll discuse it with your companies, but is there anything you want cut or censored?

My initial thought was everything, but that wouldn't work out. I mentioned that I would like the kiss censored, I don't feel like watching the actual kiss going around all over the internet, that would kill me of embarassment. I get the feeling that it's not something that would go away easily.

And, oh god, I forgot about the reactions of Testar's members. I get the feeling that they're not going to love this, especially Bae Sejin and Big Sejin. They are going to make such a fuss out of this, I can feel it.

Now was the time to leave to the dorm with the manager, but before, I wanted to talk with Cheongryeo. I went to the bathroom first.

- Hi, junior.

And he was here, of course he always knows where I am.

Cheongryeo moved closer with a smile on his face.

Shin Jaehyun inched closer to me, his tall figure looming over me, and as he put his hand on the wall behind me, he spoke in a low voice.

- I thought you were smart enough to figure it out all on your own, though? Or do we need to put everything into words?

I looked down and realised that he's right. What do I even want to tell him? It's not like I thought about it beforehand.

- Or maybe...

As he leaned closer, I could feel his breath ghost over mine. But now, there were no cameras, no pocky stick, and no prompt that forced this. We were alone in this silent bathroom.

- Maybe you just wanted to see me again?

- ...

- Or not?

- You know what? Maybe you're right.

Screw this stalling. I leaned in and closed the distance between us, making our lips meet.
I could feel a slight smile on his lips while we kissed, it started out mild, we were both exploring this slowly, only biting and sucking each other's lips. Then, it became sloppier and hotter, Cheongryeo introduced his tongue in my mouth and started to adventure my whole mouth.

What started as kissing quickly became making out, with short, ragged breaths in between, we were tasting each other as if it were the last time we were allowed to. One of his hands held my jaw while the other one held my waist and slid under my shirt occasionally. I put my arms around his neck and grasped his hair with one of my hands.

Cheongryeo kissed both seductively and fiercely, he hardly gave me time to breath. But I refused to let him take control, so we found each in other in a battle over dominance with our mouths. His hands continued to feel me up under my shirt, but I was running out of breath so I started to grasp his hair tighter and tried to pull away.

As I tried to pull away, I could feel his lips curl up. He grabbed me tighter from the waist and his other hand moved from my jaw to the back of my head, making it so that I couldn't pull away. But I really couldn't breath anymore, so instead of pushing away, I made the kiss fiercer and bit his bottom lip enough for it to hurt slightly, but not hard enough to bleed or bruise.

Finally, we pulled away and regained our breaths. And it must've lasted longer than expected, because it took us quite a long time to do so. Seeing that it wasn't only me that ran out of breath was honestly satisfactory.

Jaehyun put his forehead with mine and we finished regaining our breaths. I could see that his lips were red and the faint lipstick that he had was smeared and mixed with mine and that his hair was all messed up and over his forehead.

He then looked at me and smiled. Huh, this one wasn't a bad smile at all, it felt genuine and intimate. Somehow, he looked even better like this.

- What are you looking at?

- Haha! Are you getting shy, after all that?

- Ugh, don't speak.

- Will do.

He leaned over for another kiss, but I put my hand over his lips.

- I kind of have to go...

- Is junior Cinderella all of a sudden? Do you have to leave before midnight?

And then, this guy had the audacity to laugh. Thankfully, he pulled out some lip balm from his pocket.

Right, after I told him that Jaehyun was the one who kidnapped me, he gained a dislike for the guy and became very wary of him. Same goes for Bae Sejin.

As for Ryu Chungwoo, I think he also suspects Cheongryeo..

Oh absolutely not, I locked the screen and threw my phone to the bed. I'm not going to sit here and stand this guy's teasing, I had something more urgent at hand.

The member's reactions to this fucking show.

I hadn't really thought about it because I was sorting out how this would be received by the public, but now that Shin Jaehyun pointed it out...

It's going to be so fucking embarrassing.

Picturing the six of them in the living room watching as I make an absolute fool of myself for 40 or more minutes straight is one of the most mortifying scenarios I can come up with. And if I don't do anything about it, it's fucking happening.

Luckily this show aired in the afternoon so I had plenty of time to come up with a plan to make them not see it. I knew they were going to watch it eventually, but if I could minimize the blow by preventing them from watching it together, maybe I could sleep soundly for at least a day.

The time was 07:14 AM, half an hour had passed since I woke up. Thankfully I woke up very early for a day off, so I probably woke up earlier than most of the members.

Now, I have to find a way to make them busy throughout the day. Or distract them in some way. The show aired at 4 PM, so I have to distract them for... very long.

I went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water to clear my head and settled in the living room, when I suddenly heard steps behind me.

- Oh, Moondae? You're up quite early.

I turned around at Chungwoo's words, he was dressed in sportswear and was kind of sweaty.

- Yeah, I happened to wake up early today. Did you go out?

- Yes, I wanted to make use of the fact that it's a day off and exercised a little. More importantly, did you have enough sleep? You didn't stay up late monitoring, did you?

Chungwoo approached me as he said that, sporting a serious look on his face. I actually did stay up late monitoring yesterday, but I wasn't gonna tell him that.

- I got enough sleep, You don't have to worry. Now go, don't you have to shower?

- Haha, right.

As Chungwoo moved to the corridor to leave, he seemed to stop for a second, as if having realised something.

- Ah, that's right. Doesn't the show where you appeared, "Stars to the Test!", release an episode today?

Shit, I fucked up even by doing nothing. It's expected that he would know though, with him being the leader, and a very responsible one, he always knows most of our schedules.

Now that I recall, I didn't really tell any of the members who I was appearing on the show with, I only told them what show it was. So when they find out, some of the members might be slightly mad at me for leaving that detail out.

But thinking about it, wouldn't it be better to tell Chungwoo that I didn't want the guys to watch my appearance on that thing? I could just tell him that I was embarrassed and wanted to avoid it, I'm sure he would respect that.

- Yeah, it does, I actually wanted to talk about that... I would like to avoid watching it for the time being.

- What? Why?

Surprise and curiosity appeared on Chungwoo's face, and then he frowned and started approaching me.

- Did they make you do something you didn't want to do?

That's... not completely wrong, but he'll get more worried if I say that.-

- Well, not necessarily. It just was a weird situation, and looking back on it is kind of awkward. That's all.

- I see, so you don't want us to watch it when it airs?

Or ever, preferably.

- Yeah, if it isn't too much trouble...

- What isn't too much trouble?

Oh, I have the worst luck.

-  Morning, Moondae-hyung and Chungwoo-hyung! What are you talking about?

He's as loud as always.

- It's nothing important, Cha Yujin. And good morning to you too.

- Ahh! Are you hiding things from me?!- Cha Yujin started whining, I was starting to get anxious that he would wake up the others with him being so loud...

- Moondae is right, it's nothing you need to worry about. He was just asking me for advice for working out.

- You can ask me too~ I'm in pretty good shape hehehe.

- Sure, next time I'll ask you. Now quiet down, the others are sleeping.

- Oh? Not really, though?

Then, I saw how the members started to come to the living room one by one. Why are they all awake? Don't they not know the purpose of a day off?

- Morning, everyone.

- Morning, how come Cha Yujin is up so early?.- Questioned Bae Sejin who, despite having the most disastrous bed hair I've ever seen, still had a nonchalant expression.

- Hehe~ There's an episode of a show I like coming on TV today, so that's why I woke up early.

I exchanged looks with Ryu Chungwoo briefly, it couldn't be. No, I discarded the thought right away. It was way too early for him to be talking about "Stars to the Test".

- Oh, what is it?

- It's *****'s final episode~

It's some action show, nevermind.

- You could just watch it later, dumb Yujin.

- That's boring, stupid Raebin!

The kids started bantering. It seems like none of them remember, or know, that "Stars to the Test!" aired today. Well, we have all been pretty busy as of late, so it would make sense for them to not remember.

-M-Moondae-ya, you have some messages.- Seon Ahyun called out to me while holding my phone up. Shit, I shouldn't leave that thing unchecked.

- Oh~~ Is MoondaeMoondae more sociable than I thought?

- Shut up, don't be annoying.- I held my hand out to receive my phone from Seon Ahyeon, but it was soon intercepted by Lee Sejin.- Hey!

- You have to treat people more nicely, or things like these will happen~ Now, let's see. A photo is attached, and it was sent by... "Vtic's Cheongryeo senior".

Lee Sejin's cheery tone immediately dropped and he looked at me with a barely disguised stern face. That caught the members' attention, except for Cha Yujin's and Kim Raebin's, who were fighting for the remote from the TV.

- Oh, d-do you message each other ve-very often?

- Ah, not really. He just sends me pictures of his dog sometimes..

- He sent more messages though?.- Said Lee Sejin who was still holding my phone.

- Hey, give that back.

- What else did he say?.- Bae Sejin started approaching us with an equally dissaproving look on his face.

- Seriously, isn't this invasión of privacy?

- "Did everything get resolved?" Is there something wrong?

- It's nothing major, I was just asking him things involving the kpop industry.

- Sejinnie is hurt~ You could've just asked me instead.

- Yeah, or someone else.- "Or anyone else" is what was probably on the tip of Bae Sejin's tongue.

- If Moondae says it's not that big of a deal, then let's not worry about it.

Thank you Ryu Chungwoo as always, who was still sweaty for working out but stayed around to defend my honor. Though he did give me a slightly questioning look.

- Yeah, thanks.

I finally regained control of my phone. Then, Lee Sejin approached me and whispered on my ear.

- Is he still bothering you?

- You don't have to have to worry, I know how to deal with him.

Lee Sejin gave me a long and doubtful look. Then, as if he remembered something, he whispered again.

- Oh, and what show is he talking about anyway?

What? Shit. I opened the messages.

The photo was a screenshot saying that the schedule for the "Stars to the Test!" variety show was moved from 4 PM to 1 PM due to the cancelling of other shows.

Vtic's Cheongryeo senior: Seems like my members won't be able to watch the show in the end, we have a schedule.

Oh, it got moved? I don't know if that's great or bad...

- I don't recall, I'll ask him later.- I answered Lee Sejin, who just gave me a long look and decided to leave it.

- Aghhhh!!! The finale of the show won't air!!!- Cha Yujin screamed at the TV.

- No one likes your show, Yujin. That's why they delayed it.

- That's not true, Raebin! It's not my fault you don't have taste.

They cancelled his show? Wait a minute. My thoughts were interrupted by a commercial coming from the TV.

Don't you miss it! Today at 1 PM, we celebrate the anniversary of our show with two of the biggest idols in the kpop industry!

It was the trailer of the anniversary of that damn variety show. With my whole face in display, and my name in big, loud letters.

But that's not the worst, Cheongryeo's name and annoying face was clearly there too.

Silence drowned the dorm.

I could feel six burning stares on me, but I just kept on looking at the TV missing and reminiscing the brief moments of hope I had.

- Oh! I didn't know that hyung-nim appeared on a variety show.

- Park Moondae.

I looked at Bae Sejin, who looked at me like I had deleted his Netflix account.

- Yes, hyung?

- When were you going you to tell us that you appeared on a show with that guy?

- It slipped my mind, I'm sorry.

- T-The trailer seemed very lovely, you seemed to have fun?

Out of all of the people that were on the show, I would say I was the one who had the least fun.

- Let's watch the show where hyung appeared!!

- Good idea!

I watched toward Chungwoo's direction in dispair, hoping he would he help me out somehow. But for some reason, he gave me a complicated look. He texted something on his phone and mine soon lit up with a notification.

ㄴChungwoo-hyung: Is that senior the reason that you didn't want us to watch the show?

As I was texting back, another message popped up.

ㄴChungwoo-hyung: That changes things slightly, we should monitor our interactions with other idols. Sorry, Moondae...

What? No way, I just lost my only ally.

- There's p-plenty of time until it airs, let's have breakfast in the meantime.

And so, the countdown to my demise began.

Seen as how they would watch the show anyway, I decided to hide in the kitchen making kimchi. I looked up at the analog watch, it was 12:55 PM. Meaning that thing aired in five minutes.

- How was the filming, anyway?- Cha Yujin shouted from the living room.

- Well... you'll see.

I continued to distract myself with the kimchi, rinsing the cabbage was much more therapeutic than whatever was going on in the living room. Which, by the way, I could hear all of it since the kitchen connected directly to the living room.

- I-It started..!

- Don't hide in the kitchen, Park Moondae.- Bae Sejin reprimanded me while holding a bucket of pop corn.

- I'm making kimchi, no can do.

- Kimchi...!!! You're the best, hyungnim!

I could hear the hosts introducing us, we should've already come out.

[Ahh, truly! They are so refreshing, is this what it means to be a top Idol? Their sole presence is a source of entertainment for us commoners, haha! ]

- Yuck, they're so cheesy.

Where did Cha Yujin learn that word, anyway?

[- Haha, sorry. I guess it's just a habit, after all, my junior here is a bit grumpier in private.]

- Moondae-hyungnim isn't grumpy!

- H-He can be sometimes...

- Hmph, I don't like the way he said that. You shouldn't let people walk over you, Park Moondae!

- No one's walking over me, hyung. You don't have to worry.- I said as I dipped the cabbage on the salted water. Focus on the kimchi, ignore the shame.

- MoondaeMoondae, what theme did you get~?

- Just watch the show, I'm not telling you.

- But they make so many dramatic cuts! I've seen the same scene three times!- Cha Yujin complained.

Then, I could hear how they went quiet, that's a bad sign. Seon Ahyun broker the silence.

- R-Romance...

And then, the show cut into commercials.

- No way... Park Moondae! What does this mean?!- Bae Sejin stormed into the kitchen looking pretty outraged and was followed by some of the members.

- Well... it's what you guys saw, I simply happened to pull the worst card.

- Is Moondae-hyungnim going to Kiss that senior..?- Raebin covered his mouth and became shocked at his own hypothesis.

I wish I could say no...

- Haha, don't jump to such conclusions, Raebin. I'm sure Moondae and Cheongryeo-senior had it all under control.- said Chungwoo while putting his hand on Raebin's shoulder.

- Right! I'm sorry, Moondae-hyung!

- It started again! - And when Lee Sejin shouted that from the living room, they rushed back to the couch.

From here on it's only going to get worse, so I sneaked into my room after giving the excuse that I "got kimchi paste on me, I'll go wash up".

Once in my room, I pulled out my phone and went to check social media. Which soon turned out to be a bad idea.

This was going to be chaotic for a while, so I checked my phone for the meantime.

On the screen a very overly edited version of what happened could be seen, with hearts floating and a kdrama song playing in the backgroung. Luckily, they censored the actual kiss with some cheesy effects. That didn't stop the guys from reacting, though.

- That senior definitely got those questions wrong in order to kiss Moondae-hyung!!

- Hmm, it did seen like that to me too.- Even Chungwoo joined the idea.

- MoondaeMoondae, that wasn't your first, was it?? - Lee Sejin seemed to pale at the thought and hugged me from the side.
