Work Text:
Koyama is standing still in the middle of the park, eyes closed, arms slightly apart, a soft smile playing on his lips. Everything is unusually quiet around them : in addition to having made it snow only for Koyama’s sake, Massu has stopped time too.
“You can’t deny him anything, can you?” Shige points out mockingly as soon as Massu lands beside him, just a few steps away from Koyama.
“What's the point of being an angel if I can't spoil my boyfriends?”
The ostensible use of plural indicates that Massu won’t be fooled that easily : he knows Shige enjoys the little miracle as much as Koyama does. Snowflakes silently falling on the city shouldn’t be a big deal, though. Angel feathers are not exactly rare where Massu and him come from, and so is snow, but maybe Shige really is becoming more and more human as time goes by.
Massu is definitely becoming more human. He used to be detached, professional and inflexible. Now, he makes snow fall just to see sparkles in Koyama’s eyes. He also does unspeakable things just to see sparkles in Koyama’s eyes and Shige shivers at the thought.
“Are you cold?”
“We don’t feel the cold,” Shige recalls modestly.
“Yeah? But we feel more and more, lately. We feel warmth, kindness, craving… thrill.”
Shige shivers again at what is probably the angelic version of dirty talk. They keep watching Koyama who has started to spin slowly, like he is dancing to music that he alone can hear.
“That’s not very chaste of you,” Shige states after a moment.
“Do you mind?”
“Of course not. It feels nice, discovering these unexpected sides of you. These unexpected sides of me,” He adds, looking into his eyes.
Massu nods with a serious look, then he comes closer and stretches a little to kiss him gently. Shige feels his knees becoming really weak as he opens his lips, but his celestial peer propels himself through the air before he can do anything. He chuckles and follows him in a whirlwind of feathers that directly turn into snowflakes.
Flying has become more enjoyable since his human senses awakened. He can feel the wind beneath his wings and butterflies in his stomach when he speeds. Massu laughs next to him when he sees him do a loop and that sound makes him incredibly happy.
Shige wonders if it’s the last time the both of them can fly like this before they lose their very last bit of purity and become completely human. Oddly, the thought isn’t too upsetting. He finds himself inclined to abandon his heavenly nature, if it means he can feel more. More warmth. More kindness. More craving.
More thrill.
Koyama cheers them from below and Shige feels his heart dancing in his chest. Massu and him land next to their lover in no time. Their favorite human on Earth smiles so hard that his eyes are two little happy lines on his face.
“Ah~ I’m so lucky!”
For once, Massu and Shige totally agree on something : Koyama is the real angel out there.
