Summary
Eddie rears back, almost falling out of Steve’s lap in the process. His eyes roll wildly as he throws his head back and smudges blood across his teeth.
“Again,” Steve whimpers.
Beneath him, Steve is half-sprawled on the bed, propped up on his elbows. His eyes are glazed over and there’s sweat beading his brow. His neck is red with a thin film of blood mixed with Eddie’s spit. His skin is pale and the expression on his face is one of euphoria; he looks like one of those sculptures of a medieval saint experiencing a holy vision, caught in the throes of religious ecstasy. His broad chest heaves and his eyes are half-lidded, searching Eddie’s face.
He grips weakly at the front of Eddie’s shirt. “Don’t stop.”
Or: Eddie is a vampire. He's hungry, and Steve just wants to help. (Ulterior motives? No way.)
