Chapter Text

they were walking late at night on the sidewalk just because they were bored so they decided to hangout tonight without their parents knowing, they didn't even care that it was already 1am.

"I bet you never graduated kindergarten, aren't you?" dream corrected while resting his wings because he got stuck in a tree while flying but luckily Rei caught him before he fell from the tree.

"of-of course I passed otherwise I wouldn't be here dumb@ss" Cade whispered angrily to him

"You don't know the difference between blond and blonde" Kyle commented as he ruffled Cade's ginger hair

"Well that's beca-"

"Guys, looks like we have a problem...again" Rei cut in, he lowered his phone to look at his friend who gave him an 'I know that' look"

"Let me guess, he caused it first?" kyle pointed his thumb at dream

"Me?, it wasn't my idea to push me off on a 25 meter high building, I said I just wanted to get some fresh air but STUPID cade pushed me and I had to fly and crash into a tree!" Dream babbled frantically because he was afraid it was really his fault

"Sounds like a squirrel- OUCH REI THE FCK??" cade screamed in pain after rei slapped his head

"Soo about the problem?" kyle turned to him and asked rei

"Remember the tree the dream hit earlier? It actually belonged to one of our neighbour, a husband and wife, her husband said he saw dream crashing into and dirty the tree area and told us to replace it" rei grumbled then showed his chat with the husband to his friends

"I brought money, how much is that tree cost?" asked Kyle as he took his wallet out of his pocket

"Um..500 bucks I guess?"

"absolutely not, i only bought 30 bucks" kyle replied and return his wallet to his pocket

"he keeps spamming me, what the heck do I do now?!"
His fingers are very fast typing the messages that keep spamming on his notification

"I don't know unless you block it?" dream suggests

he walked towards Rei and took his cell phone.
he clicked on the block sign and gave rei's phone back

"Oh yeah, that's a good idea by the way, I should have blocked it from the sta-"

"I'm starving, I wanna eat something!" Cade admitted, from the beginning Cade was REALLY hungry but He didn't bring any money but lucky, kyle bought it

"What kind of shop that opens at 1am?" Dream asked while crossing his arms, his dirty blonde hair tied up in a messy ponytail from the tree accident earlier.

"I think I saw a store still open across from us" Cade confirmed

"Let's go there now, I will guide you guys!" Cade demanded of them and started walking briskly down the store street

"Come on Rei! I'm hungry too" Dream pulled Rei's hand and took his hand following the others

oh again and again... rei felt butterflies fluttering in his stomach and he loved the feeling,
he had this feeling ever since Dream protected him from bullies when they were little, Dream's smile and the warm hand that held him made him feel this way.

he's not really sure how to feel only that, atleast he got to hold dream's hand again...

the wind at night is always cold especially at 1 this morning.

The four of them ate a light snack on a buss stop near the store comfortably

this silence didn't make them awkward instead it made them calm no one felt awkward with this situation

While they were eating, Rei looked at Dream, Dream looked so cold

Well of course he is

they are all wearing jackets or outerwear or thick clothes while dream only wearing turtleneck sleeves and jeans
so it's no wonder he's cold with the temperature here

The store's cold state didn't help either, it seemed like not only he felt that Dream was cold, Cade and Kyle could feel it too.

Rei stopped eating then took off his blue jacket and tucked it into Dream's back

Dream, who had been daydreaming, was shocked by Rei's sudden behavior, after that Rei just continued eating like nothing happend

Dream who was still shocked by that was processing what just happened

Shortly after....

Dream stood up ran
And scream

"Thanks for the jackettttt!!" dream ran while waving his arms to rei

"Hey! bring it back!" Rei chased him until he had to get his jacket back

"Wait for us!" Cade screamed with his mouth full of food and dragged Kyle by his jacket so Kyle wouldn't be left behind

at that time it was quiet, jacket rei had returned, it was half past 2 and they found two little children alone on the edge of a tree

Wait

Two little children...by the tree?

A FRICKING TWO LITTLE CHILDREN??

And dream was standing there with his friends looking at the two kids like a creep they were.

one of the kids has brown hair and wears a red hoodie and on both sides the jacket is green and orange and wears brown shorts

while the other child looks younger than the brunette, he has green hair, his hoodie is also green and even his shorts too, why is he looks like grass,
so they started walking toward them

"uh um hey kiddos, what are you doing here?" Alex looked down at the poor children

"W-we......I.. don't know where we are...our mother told us to stay here until she come to pick us up but she haven't been here since late afternoon" the brunutte child muttered very quietly, tears began to slowly appear in the child's eyes

oh shoot that one kid is gonna cry and he doesn't want to deal with that kid now,
he's been pushed, hit by a tree, running, chased, get cold and then this?

but the child was very innocent at all .. he didn't know that he had been in abondent by their own mother

Dream sighed and asked

"Mind telling us how old are you guys and name?"

"I-i'm tapl 6 year old...and he is m-my brother fruitberries 5 year old.."
the kid name tapl uttered as he wiping his tears off his cheek

their jaw dropped like litterally who wouldn't be shocked to see a fricking kids here in the middle of the night alone

Dream turned his head to see his friends in shock's face, he cleared his throat so that the others would come to their senses

"So... who will accompany this child?" Dream asked but as he expected the answers

"o-oh my time is up!, i have to go, my dad will Probably get mad at me when he found out i wasn't sleep" cade answer as he pointed his invisible watch

"i have 2 sisters and they're already hard enough to raise so i can't"
Kyle answered too, dream can clearly see kyle's eyes look tired

"My parent can't let me have another sibling orrr kids soo yeah i can't"
Rei rubbed the back of his neck

"So its just me?"

"It seems so?" Cade shruge

"Okay whatever, you guys go home, your parents will definitely panic if you're not in the room, its okay I'll take care of this" Dream shoo them with his signature hand

And so they all went towards their house

after there's no sight of his friend, he immediately talk again

"Ok now you two come with me" Dream told them, he stood up and shook his dirty clothes

suddenly...

"Dream?"

"Dream?"

Dream turned his head to face the person who said his name

"D-dad?"

oh it was just his dad, he was so relieved

"The fck re you doing here?"

"i just found some kids and-"

"No, I mean why are you still up?"
Jschlatt's face showed confusion

oh no, will his father be angry?

"I can't... sleep?"

"I know you better than this"

"Fine, I just hangout with my friends"

"Your habits really are the same as your mother" Jschlatt smiled at the thought of his wife.
Dream is really a reflection of his wife as if his wife is genderbent (and this is why dream is his favorite child/hj)

"Dad...can i take them to our mansion?" dream asked then he stepped aside and showed the two children

"Those two kids?, I don't really care so it's up to you anyway"
Schlatt agreed

his dad smile always put him at ease

"Let's go home now it's already 2 in the morning"

Suddenly Jschlatt's eyes went to dream's wings

"What happened to your wings...did you get hit..again?" Jschlatt asked, a worrid expression on his face

"I was hit by a tree...because of my friend"
Dream chuckled at the thought,
what an embarrassing moment

"we can preen your wings later okay" jschlatt  added to get out of here now, he get a bad feeling here

"You don't have to, I can fix it myself" dream confirmed

"Oh okay then, i'm just worried"

Dream turned around and asked tapl and fruit

"Hey tapl, if i can....can I carry fruit?, He looks sleepy"

Dream pointed towards fruit which made tapl turned around and understood that he would fall asleep in a few seconds, with that tapl nodded allowing dream to carry fruit

Dream understood that look then he carried fruit by lifting him from the armpit first and then carrying it to dream's chest

fruit, who had been sleepy listening to dream's heartbeat, made him want to fall asleep, his eyes were fully closed and his vision went dark and he could not hear anyone anymore.

"Sleep well.." dream whispered to fruit

alex reached out his hand to be held by tapl,
Tapl, who was initially wary but after seeing the masked man treatment of his brother, made Tapl trust him

And he hold dream's hand

They head to their mansion

yes  they have a very elegant mansion and there is a wide swimming pool there

Jschlatt opened the white and gold decorated door as he let them in

"Dad i'm going to my room" dream murmured so fruit wouldn't wake up by him

"yes you can,oh yeah i almost forgot to tell you, tomorrow we have a meeting at 9 am with my workers and they will stay here for a few days for an important mission but be careful sometimes one of them is aggressive towards new people" jschlatt announced about tomorrow meeting

dream nodded and stepped on the 2nd floor towards his room while being careful carrying fruit and holding tapl's hand

Dream put them both to sleep in his bed, he doesn't need to use the guest room after all he still has another bed, he also has a lot of guest rooms it's just that because his father's workers are many so he decided not to use them, he already change into his pajama

such a huge mansion but only two people and now four and tomorrow many more,

after tapl and fruit had fallen asleep,  looked around then he clasped his hands together and closed his eyes

he felt something in his clasped hands, he opened his eyes and cupped his hand, there glowed a green light..The green glow was so...bright, as the light grew bigger and then he separated his hands until both of his palms had the light in them. Slowly, he graced over his white wings  so that all of his wing feathers were evenly distributed and now its healed

he relieved himself to his bed, he accidentally fell and his face was the first to hit the mattress, tomorrow must be a very long day, he didn't want to attend the meeting yet plus he had to meet his workers, he closed his eyes and darkness began to devour him

Chapter Text

Being the only son of a mafia boss, he somehow finds it both enjoyable and.....very tiring

I mean he was always spoiled and loved by his father, he was also loved by many people, yes and that was his problem.

he is also sometimes disliked or hated because he is too beautiful or handsome or too accomplished

he also has a popular older sister and only TWO years apart! but why did his older sister have to go first?

no, his sis is not in the afterlife, it's just that she left because of a mission but the thing is..it was almost 7 months he didn't see his sister...

he misses her...even tho she's kinda annoying-

he is 18 years old while his older sister is 20 years old and his older sister was told to go on a mission first by their father because 'she's already old enough'

is it because his older sister named Drista is very similar to their father?

if his older sister is very similar to their father then he is similar to their mother

Was that why he was always loved more by jschlatt than his older sister?

After all, their mother also.... left this world, so it's no wonder that his father and Drista love him dearly

how could he not, he is litterally look like a mini version of their mom

Drista got their father's look while Dream got their mother's look, it's just that, a bit of attitude and character that dream got from his father

However, Dream's eyes are not like the eyes of ordinary people, he was diagnosed with heterochromia which makes his right eye emerald green and the other eye crimson red.

his sister's eyes are jade green, his father is burgundy, his mother is (as he recalls) light green
while dream was like both of them

he was always jealous of the normal person's eye color

he did not want this

he still remembers the traumatic thing

he was 8 years old when he was caught red-handed by his mother

he tried to gouging out his own eyes

using a fork

Before his mother knew, he had pressed the fork into the area where his eyelid had cut and was bleeding a little.

The scar still hasn't disappeared until now

His freckles also made him jealous

he is often referred to as a girl because of his freckles

When he was 12

he tried to scratch his freckles using his fingernails which made scratches in the school bathroom because he couldn't take it anymore.

Until a child named Rei.... accidentally came to only wash his hands

When Rei found out about that, he tried to stop him from clawing at his own skin

When alex raised his head to look at the new boy from looking down

it was at that moment

rei fell in love with him for the first time, at first sight

Dream has white wings and the tips are forest green

His older sister also has one that is white and has a light green tip

While their mother has sage green wings

Except jschlatt

He is a hybrid ram passed down from his mother

But since the loss of Schlatt's wife (or died?)

Their father did not really take it well.

Especially Drista looks like their father, while Dream looks like their mother

Schlatt couldn't stand the sight of Dream who always reminded him of his wife.

he got drunker and all

he often hits Dream alot, especially with alcohol bottles

But schlatt didnt did that after he realized

Whatever his hand was near Dream

Dream would flinch as he tried to protect himself

So Schlatt stopped doing that and started being a good father

Because Dream, his OWN son is afraid of him

Well then, what about Drista?

Drista tries to protect her brother but she always seems to fail because schlatt is too strong of them

Even after schlatt apologized and said he would start to be a great father, they forgave him but still drista didn't really trust their father so much, and schlatt understood that and would try to protect dream when drista left for a mission who need her. And the info that I won't share will appear little by little in the future chapter ;)

Chapter Text

Here he is standing at the door of the meeting room

Okay no, he wasn't nervous at all, he wouldn't throw hands away if one of them started approaching him

he didn't care if others gossiped about him, he had already put on his mask as a precaution

ok this is a bit strange but why does he feel when he opens the door something will happen,
he wasn't sure what but he would stay alert

Dream took a deep breath and pushed open the door ahead

as he expected...

A dagger was thrown right beside his ear, fortunately it didn't hit his ear, he had expected it! something must have come when he opened this door and yes he don't knows whose dagger was thrown beside his ear

That's it, he could feel all eyes on him

"Ah..dream dear, you're finally here."

He saw his father standing at the end of the table, behind him was a screen showing... something like a task or mission to be done, Jschlatt told him to sit in an empty chair nearby.

without any further dream went straight to the seat that had been prepared for him from his father, he really tried to speed up his pace because all eyes were on him!. And you know what? .. he doesn't really like it when all eyes are on him but at the same time he likes it

Dream sat and straightened his back while his hands under the table, he was so relieved

Jschlatt smiled at him and then returned his straight face to explain their mission and later roles

Jschlatt smiles was normal for dream but for his dad's workers maybe....no

They had never seen their boss smile for anyone else but this time... they saw him smile

While in the middle of Jschlatt's explanation, Dream could feel a pair of eyes looking at him with total distaste towards him. The problem was that he didn't want to know who it was.

he wouldn't make any trouble on his first day

A few minutes later...Jschlatt got a call from someone which telling him to leave for a while

But after Schlatt opened the door he didn't come out first instead he said

“Be nice to him” an intimidating aura appeared around him as if he wouldn't hesitate to kill anyone.
who hurt his son

After schlatt left and closed the door completely

he was startled by a loud slam from a woman

From the woman's reaction, he could tell that is the person who was glaring at him with hatred, the woman had a white traight layered white hair with side-Swept bang
And wore a black dress

Of course he wasn't the only one shocked, everyone was startled by the sudden loud slam

The woman shout "why.. why did he call you 'dear'?" The woman clenched her fists and grinded her teeth

"Lucia please calm down and please for once shut the f up, it's no big deal." A black-haired person grabbed Lucia's shoulder

"Know your place, its not your bussi-"

"Dumb@ss" dream muttered with a straight face

"E-excuse me?..what did you just call me ...a dumb@ss...?" Lucia couldn't believe what she was hearing

"Are you deaf? Of course not aren't you?.
.so don't pretend you dont hear it" He was really trying to calm himself

"Who do you think you're talking to?!" Lucia raised her voice then stood up from her chair

Many people there started to feel unfortable and some felt interested in this debate, they wanted to see what the son of a mafia boss who was considered by them a newcomer would do.

"At least I'm not a wh0r3.." Dream spoke very quietly and casually while the others started to whisper about him

"Y..you!, you know that I can kill you right now right?...our boss won't care if one of his workers dies becau-" but before lucia could countine dream answered

"I am not one. of. his. worker." at this point dream wanted out of there

"Then who are you @sshole!?" Lucia almost wanted to punch him but then she fell silent because she could hear footsteps coming and so did everyone else

They hear footsteps coming

So they are back where they were and just
pretend that nothing happened, ok.. just a day for them

The door opened and there Schlatt entered and closed the door

here's an opportunity...

"Hey dad, who's calling?" Dream spoke loud enough for the others to hear

"Nothing, just someone" Schlatt walked towards the screen and on the way he patted Dream on the head and started erasing the boards.

While the others... were completely shocked to hear that the dream... whom they assumed was a newcomer... the son of their boss and lucia the obsessive woman was screaming or perhaps, almost punched him earlier.

But there was still something about Dream... that made Lucia hate him even more

Well what about dream?

Well dream was satisfied with Lucia's reaction

The reactions of regret and hatred

"The meeting is over, you can stay over at my house so we can discuss if anything is missing" Schlatt took the document and headed for the door.

"Also dream
..you coming with me" again schlatt smiled at dre

Dream smirked then got up and chased after his dad but before that

"Lucia." Dream called out lucia's name emotionlessly without looking at her

"w-what do you want?" Lucia replied in a trembling voice

"You know I could blackmail you if I reported that incident to my father...right?.." Dream's mask darkened and he quickly left, slamming the door, giving Lucia a slight fright.

"i-i.. didn't know he was our boss's son".. Lucia muttered she was so messed up...which was also her first day meeting jschlatt's son but come on...she still thought surely her boss and that loser were teaming up so everyone believes that loser..newcomer is the son of a mafia boss, but jschlatt won't smile at anyone for no reason

Their boss rarely smiled like he almost never, only this time they could see their boss smiling warmly at his.. newcomer.. his son?... and that warm smile.. made lucia love him even more.. loved him..

Lucia just couldn't believe that the jschlatt already had an grown up son, the jschlatt also never told anyone about he having a son or a family, they only knew that their boss was a strict and like to torturing people.

"We all don't know, since when did our boss say he has a son?" answered George

“I love him so much… so much” Wilbur started out of nowhere as red eye shapes started to appear in his pupils

"Wilbur, we just met him about 60 minutes ago and you already love him, we don't know much about him," said Techno, what made Wilbur really like Dream? According to him, Dream was just an ordinary person.

“He.. could… blackmail me..” Lucia muttered, as a worried look crossed her face

"It's your own fault for starting the debate with him," commented Punz

"Wait, I just realized...if dream is Jschlatt son and this mansion belongs to boss...does that means this mansion also belongs to his son?" Asked fundy to anyone there

"Of course, we also have to stay here, so this mansion must belong to both of them" Quackity explained

Dream walked down the halls and through a lot of rooms, he was really bored, but at least he met a karen wannabe named 'Lucy'

While he was deep in thought, someone called out to him

He turned around and saw two familiar people approaching him, weren't they also in the meeting room?

"Hey, you are the son of our boss, right?" the black-haired man confirmed that he had heard correctly that he was the son of a mafia boss, why was the black-haired one wearing a headband?

"Yeah right, what's wrong?" answer dream, what do they want with him?

"We saw you when we met before, I like the way you reply to the comeback" added the brunette with..goggle...glasses?

"ah that's nothing but thanks, oh yeah you didn't tell me your name tho?" asked dream, raising an eyebrow

"oops, almost forgot my name is Sapnap and he...you can call him Mister Blabber" black hair named Sapnap pointed at the rude man next to him with his thumb

"It's george not mister blabber 'snapchat'" the brunette named george immediately slapped sapnap's head from behind

Lord, why are they tall,
What did they eat to get to reach that height but the this guy named george is 2 inches taller than him...but still!

"S-so..do you want to hangout with us and get to know each other?" asked George, a pink blush on his cheeks

Its kinda funny how george blushed

"Of course i mean why not?" he just met them and he think he already interested in them but who knows what could happend right?

"and that's how i met george, i just remember, when we were 13 years old.. george once chased a rabbit and without him knowing, he slipped and fell and some of the remaining puddl- HMPPP!" Sapnap Tried to explain and giggle but suddenly suddenly his mouth was covered with a hand from george

"Uhh ignore that... anyway I always wanted to ask this, do you have like have any siblings?" asked george still not letting go of his hand on sapnap's mouth while sapnap just sat there resignedly

"Oh, I have a sister named drista, she is older than me in her 20s i dont know....maybe?, I forgot anyways and she hasn't seen me in a while and barely communicates even though i know she has a really busy day" Dre explained, a little sad for him because his beloved annoying monkey sister had not communicated with him in a long time but he could have been careless about how george just asked about his family

they sat in one of the seats near the window, it was quite a bit crowded there so they couldn't help but talk a little loudly

"S-sorry I asked about that, I think it's really sad but I can feel you really" George smiled at him

then out of nowhere sapnap threw george's hand away and asked him

"Hey, I don't know if this is privacy but.... I really want to know why are you wearing a mask?" Sapnap asked in a doubtful tone, but his curiosity would not dissipate until he knew the exact thing he wanted to know

That question caught him off guard

"I-I'm sorry its kinda privacy..thing" is really the most private thing for himself, only those closest to him and he trusted allowed to see his face

"That's fine, we respect that" sapnap liked the way dream spoke to him..

And the conversation continued as usual, They were getting to know each other better...until Dream's father called him

"My dad is calling me I think I should go..nice chatting with you guys see you later" he quickly stood up and waved at them

They waved back.. as soon as dream left their sight they took out their phones and press their group section on the screen

Yesterday was… something new for him, exploring with someone younger than him

He already knew they were younger than him, especially from their faces and behavior

He couldn't deny it. But yesterday was so much fun

then when he saw how dre was the first person to help him when he was stuck

He heard how dre's voice sounded worried for him and tried his best to get off his feet while the rest of his friends kinda... laughed but in the end they helped him anyway.

And that's what made Tommy start to trust him

Luckily they were still able to enter the house quietly after the door being lock by philza, thanks to the teleportation from Ranboo

nightmare's eye color is red while lucid's eye color is dark purple. night personality is he doesn't talk too much and cold, the same for lucis it's just that lucid likes to talk a lot and he's also a little cold when he was bored or angry

There were many things he had yet to tell them,
Starting from he has the power to heal people and revive them but if someone want to revive a person... he shouldn't use it too often... he can just revive 1 person then he will get the effect, which is a disease that is difficult to cure

Now he's gonna get his flag pole training in secret- Hold on, why does he hear noises in the kitchen?

Even though now he is in the living room playing with his phone while relaxing, in the living room it looks quiet as if there is no one and he doesn't care

"Dream! there you are!" He's not gonna get a break just for a day is he?

Dre looked up from his left and saw corpse running to him, why did corpse look so panic?

"Oh it's you again, hi corpse...hey breathe slowly I can wait for you to say" Dream told corpse while making eye contact with corpse's red eye

Jschlatt had a lot of stock of food, ingredients, recipes and tools for cooking but because of jschlatt and coincidentally the people who could cook were away because of something busy

GEORGE didn't read the whole sentence on the instructions and messed things up

FOOLISH accidentally included sugar which should have been salt not sugar

QUACKITY opens a bag of flour and spills it onto SAPNAP'S clothes

SAPNAP chasing QUACKITY with a hot large pan for some reason

KARL almost burnt his fingers on the boiling water

FUNDY almost spilled the olive oil everywhere

The potatoes should be roasted for 15 minutes but PUNZ roast it for like 25 more minutes!

TECHNO almost ate the whole potato because he was starving

PURPLED did everything as instructed but he just tossed and tossed regardless as he don't care how size and weight the ingredients

TUBBO seared the other side of the steak

RANBOO tried to add the oil steak with a bunch of M&M

TOMMY tried to flip the steak with his hand and it failed so it fell

WILBUR burn the whole steak

ILLUMINA almost sets the oven in fire

GOOD Pat the steak dry with a tissue not a paper towel

SAM use a spoon to place the fries

NIGHTMARE was trying to tell people not to burn things

LUCID was trying his best to put out the fire

XD standing in the corner already has enough of the sht

LUCIA tried her best to act like a professional chef while she couldn't even boil pasta

They could have asked for dream's help but since he was sleeping, they were told not to wake him up (Maybe because of being threatened by Jschlatt)

As He listening to corpse's ravings, he became very worried how his kitchen was being tortured by people who don't know how to cook but still willing to do

Corpse leads him to the door that leads to the kitchen room

Dream already sensed something was wrong behind this door

he opened the door and yes a potatoe were thrown at him but luckily he immediately dogde, it seems no one noticed he opened the door except corpse

What was explained by corpse is actually true and at the same time was similar

It seemed he couldn't silence them with just his voice

So he would go the way his dad used to when he and his sister argued over the TV remote

“SHUT IT!” He yelled, he punched the wall to shut them all, They jumped at the loud sound and stopped their activities as if they were frozen, They all looks at the owner of the mansion looking like he's angry

After an awkward silence went by, he continued “What the f is happening here?!"

"Trying to mess things up in my kitchen,...?" his mask darkened, he tried to contain his anger while taking out some sort of multi-purpose penknife from his pocket

In the dining room, they see almost everyone is eating the food that is on the table

Most likely..because skeppy is clingy by his fiance, he will definitely insist on going with his fiance

And badboyhalo will let skeppy come along, bad will be sad when skeppy isn't with him more than 2 hours so schlatt lets him come

Tapl and fruit sat on his backs and he didn't mind. Though it hurt a bit since he really didn't eat anything
