She lied down, the water covered her ears, her eyes kept spilling tears and that knot in her throat was released letting her sobs to be louder.
And she remembered him.
“If somehow… the Lord gave me… a second chance…"
“Is that what you want?” someone asked, but she didn’t hear them “Stop crying, child.”
She heard the voice sigh and the next thing she knew was that she was being swallowed by the ocean.
She didn’t know who or what was in front of her. It was an entity, magical, mythical or heavenly, she didn’t have a fucking clue.
“A second chance, is that what you want?” they asked without moving their lips.
“It is, but…” her tears kept spilling from her eyes but instead of roading down her cheeks they floated on the water around her face “Are you asking because you can make it true?”
“If that is what you want.”
