"Hey, Enid! Look at this!" Ajax grasped Enid's arm, pulling her back to the window in front of a bar. Inside stood Larissa Weems and her wife. There were other teachers there too, but Principal Weems was laughing whenever the other woman whispered in her ear.
"Awh, Weems doesn't laugh like that around us." Enid pouted and shifted around in front of the window as people came to block her field of vision. In the glimpses she could catch, Principal Weems seemed to always keep a caring hand on her partner's arm or back. Her head was ducked in close to her wife, her ruby lips curled into a smile.
"What are we looking at?" Bianca nosed her way into the conversation, peering over Enid's shoulder. Her eyes caught Principal Weems, drink in hand and she pulled her wife's hand to her lips, "Weems has the moves."
Principal Weems then took her wife's hand and drew her closer so their bodies were flush with one another. They seemed to be swaying to the music together. Mutually they set down their drinks and joined hands, slowly dancing together. Their smiles were unmistakable.
"That. Is. So. CUTE!" Enid exclaimed, gripping Wednesday's arm who had been standing there silently the entire time, "Look at them!"
Principal Weems seemed to be whispering things the whole time that caused her partner to laugh. They all watched as the couple rocked back and forth. Well, they were watching Principal Weems until she looked out the front window and caught them all staring.
It wasn't moments later when she towered above them, scolding them for loitering and being off school grounds so late, but they weren't listening. Rather the students peaked around Larissa to see her wife standing there with a smile. She gave a small wave.
Enid returned the wave with a smile and wave of her own, but Larissa stepped to the side and blocked her student's view, "Get back to campus immediately. I will be calling Dr. Ennis to make sure you get back there in the next half hour."
