Summary
Hannibal is bored, the hunt has lost its color, and the food ash in his mouth. He needs a change, when the opportunity to attend a conference in a beautiful mountainous landscape he jumps at the chance, however, he is disappointed to find that he has to share the fine hotel with some subpar guests one Fredrick Chilton a self-proclaimed celebrity survivalist and his crew of tittering fans. When he comes across Chilton's suffering assistant Will, Hannibal is immediately enchanted when Will offers him the tools to elevate Chilton Hannibal is obsessed.
He creates a plan to ensure that they become trapped in the mountains with him but after a few days in the wilderness, he begins to consider that it might be he who is the trapped one and Will the greater predator. Thankfully his dark creature has a soft spot for him, hoping that will ensure his safety when he becomes stuck on the mountain alone and at the mercy of a man that seems more divine than human.
