Summary
James Potter is stressed, but he’s managing.
The restaurant that he co-owns with his childhood best friend, Peter, has just celebrated its one year anniversary and the reviews are good (although, James thinks they could be better). He’s just about on good terms with his ex-girlfriend, too, who, eight months prior, broke up with him and moved to a different country in the span of a week. And his other best friend, Sirius, is pretending not to be a nervous wreck over the concept of doing long distance now that his boyfriend is attending grad school in Scotland, but James is doing what he can to comfort (and occasionally talk some sense into) him.
So, yeah, a lot is going on, but James definitely has it all covered. Or, at least, he did.
Because Regulus Black has just shown up on his doorstep, asking for a pretty massive favor. No apology, no acknowledgement of what happened between them all those years ago, just a request. What could possibly go wrong?
