Chapter 1: gregory goes missing??
Chapter Text
3rd Person Pov
Awkward silence was filling the lunch table as two 5th graders eat their lunch.
”So um, Gregory didn’t come to school again today?” Evan asked, shifting his eyes from looking at his finished lunch to Cassie a few times.
”Well no shit, Evan. You saw his table empty, obviously he didn’t came to school.” Cassie replied bluntly while eating her lunch.
“Well, I’m kinda worried for him.. It’s unusual for him to not come to school for like.. 7 days..” Evan stated, fidgeting with his fingers.
”Hmm, true.” Cassie agreed while starting to think of multiple possibilities that could’ve happened to Gregory.
“Oh my gosh, what if Gregory’s house got burned down..” Evan said, putting his hands on his head.
”Or worse, what if he committed a crime and went to jail.” Cassie added, raising her index finger up.
”You’re right.. Holy fucking shit..” Evan mumbled, stunned as he put his hand on his mouth.
“Or maybe you guys could just.. visit his house?” A voice spoke up, scaring both Cassie and Evan who almost jumped out of his seat.
”But here’s the thing, Cassidy!” “We don’t know where his house is.” Cassie continued, as Cassidy looked at the two of them baffled.
”You two are kidding right?..” Cassidy asked as she points at the two of them back and forth.
”We aren’t, Cassidy! We literally don’t know where his house is because he always never invite us over there.. it’s usually Cassie’s or my house.” Evan responded, looking gloomy when he realised Gregory has never invited the two of them over at his place.
”It’s true.. We’ve never been over at his house before despite knowing him for like a long time..” Cassie admitted, slightly embarrassed looking down at her lunch she couldn’t finished.
“You aren’t gonna eat?” Cassidy asked, looking at Cassie’s lunch.
”Nah, lost my appetite.” Cassie replied, pushing her lunch away.
”That sucks.. Can I have it if your not gonna eat it then?” Cassidy asked, but before Cassie could respond the bell had rang indicating it was time to go back to the classrooms.
Cassidy looked at the lunch, disappointed it was gonna be a waste as she got up from the table and went back to her classroom.
A few days later
“Hey guys.” Gregory said bluntly, quickly walking pass Cassie and Evan who were on their way to school.
”Eh?” Both Cassie and Evan said, stunned before running up to Gregory and holding him hostage.
”GREGORY!!” They both yelled, grabbing Gregory’s bag which slightly surprised him, almost making him fall down.
”Hey guys! Haven’t seen you guys for a while, huh?” Gregory joked, looking at the two of them with his hands on his waist.
”For a while? Gregory. You literally went missing for a whole ass 5 and a half weeks.” Cassie stated, looking at him with an annoyed expression.
”Yeah, and.. you really worried us, Gregory! We- we thought your house burned down o-or that you committed a crime and went to jail!” Evan said, with a worried expression on his face while Gregory looked so done with them.
”Seriously guys? Committed a crime and went to jail? How low do you think I’d go?” Gregory asked the two of them. Cassie rubbed the back of her head, whistling while averting her eyes to look somewhere else. Evan looked down, slightly embarrassed and ashamed, avoiding eye contact as well.
Gregory sighed and turned his back, “Ok lets go to school now before we’re late.” Gregory spoke as he started walking with Evan and Cassie trailing along behind him.
“So!~ Why’d you disappeared? You got a lot to explain you know?” Cassie asked, looking at Gregory while walking alongside him.
”Well so basically.. I got kicked out of my house-“ “W- WHAT?!!” “WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU GOT KICKED OUT OF THE HOUSE?! AND WHY’RE YOU SAYING IT SO CASUALLY?” “A- ARE YOU CRAZY GREGORY?!!” “EXPLAIN RIGHT NOW GREGORY!!”
”Guys guys.. chill out! I got kicked out because I’m pretty sure my parents got sick of me always getting into trouble so they couldn’t take it anymore and just kicked me out of the house! Probably? I’m not that sure since they just kicked me out without any explanation..” Gregory explained, putting his hand on his chin.
”So basically I’ve been living on the streets for a few weeks! It was an interesting experience to say the least. Oh and someone adopted me by the way so I’ve been adjusting to the home like these past few days..” Gregory added when Cassie put her hand on Gregory’s shoulder making the three of them stop mid track.
”Gregory. Are you ok? Like, mentally?” Cassie asked, looking worried for her best friend.
”I’m perfectly fine?..” Gregory replied, looking at Cassie weirdly.
”C- Cassie’s right, Gregory.. A- are you like.. ok mentally? This.. isn’t how you should react to situations like this.” Evan spoke, looking at Gregory concerned while fidgeting nervously with his fingers.
”Exactly! Gregory, you need to see a therapist.” Cassie suggested, looking at Gregory dead in the eye, serious.
”What? I don’t need therapy, the fuck you guys talking about?” Gregory replied, looking slightly confused on what they’re talking about.
Both Cassie and Evan sighed, giving up on operation “Gregory Needs Therapy” for now.
”Never mind. Forgot what we just said earlier and continue on our day.” Cassie replied in a deadpan voice, as she started walking ahead of them.
Both Gregory and Evan catches up with Cassie and the three of them walked alongside together.
Chapter 2: the truths out..
Summary:
“Hey.. that’s actually true! You could’ve visited us and stayed at one of our places, yet you didn’t. Why?” Cassie asked the same question Evan had asked, looking at him concerned and bewildered.
”Well.. It’s-.. It’s complicated.” Gregory said while shaking his head, “You guys wouldn’t understand.” He continued.
”What, why? But we-“ Cassie got interrupted by the school bell ringing. All the children started getting up and going to their classes now.
“Your excused for now, Gregory. But.. we want answers after school.” Cassie stated sternly as she got up walking back to the classroom first while Gregory sat there slightly dazed before Evan interrupted his train of thoughts.
OR
Cassie, Evan, and Cassidy confront and comfort Gregory, and Gregory doesn’t know what to do so he cries ‘cause he never expected it.

3rd person pov
”So, Gregory!” Cassidy spoke as she clasped her fingers together while looking at the said person who looked at her.
”Yes?” Gregory responded, taking a bite out of his lunch he bought.
”How have you been.. adjusting to this said home you’ve been living in?” Cassidy asked, now Cassie and Evan looked at Gregory, both.. or, three of them curious.
”Ehh.. It’s fine I guess. Better than my last home definitely.” Gregory replied, taking another bite out of his lunch, this time a bigger one.
”Noted, noted..” Cassidy said, letting go of her fingers as she got up, leaving the table presumably going to another table with a group of four other children.
“Did you guys finished the assignment Mr. Kyle gave us last week?” Cassie asked, after finishing her lunch.
”Wait wait wait! We had homework?” Gregory asked, baffled staring at Cassie stunned.
”Yeah, last week. The last week you didn’t come to school.” Cassie stated, looking at Gregory dead in the eye serious while Gregory looked paled and dazed.
Gregory slapped his cheeks and dragged it down, “AND YOU GUYS DIDN’T WANTED TO TELL ME THAT YESTERDAY?” Gregory yelled, getting the attention of the people who were around him.
”K- Keep it down, G-Gregory!” Evan said in a panic of having the people around them having attention on their table.
”My bad my bad.” Gregory apologised, seemingly slightly calmed down now as he got his thoughts together.
”Nah, just thought it’d be funny to see your reaction.” Gregory looked at her with an exasperated expression, “Though, you’d probably either get excused for randomly going missing or you’ll not. I think it’ll most likely be the latter, though since Mr. Kyle somehow will always have the most absurd excuse for something.” Cassie explained, looking at her empty lunch tray as she pushes it.
”Honesty, it’s true though.. He’ll probably say something like “Well, that’s not an excuse! You still could’ve attended school and went to the classes!”.. Actually, Gregory. You could’ve visited mine or Cassie’s house when you got kicked out.. since, you know the way to our houses.. but, you didn’t.. why?” Evan asked, looking up to look at Gregory who was pondering in thought, presumably of what to respond.
“Hey.. that’s actually true!
“U-um Gregory? You there?..” Evan asked, nervously fidgeting with his fingers as he stood there waiting for Gregory.
”Ah- right.. Sorry about that, Evan!” Gregory apologised looking at him with a nervous smile while rubbing the back of his head while getting up from his seat.
The last bell for the day rang signalling school had ended as kids packed their beds and went back home.
”Gregory! Don’t think I forgot about the thing during the lunch break!” Cassie said sternly, staring at Gregory with her hands on her hips as the said person was still in the middle of packing his books.
“Right.. I’ll tell you about it in a sec. After we get out of the school.” Gregory replied while putting his textbook, notebook, and pencil box in his bag.
As the two of them got out of the classroom, they were met with Evan who was waiting for the two of them right outside of the door who looked really nervous.
The walk was silent, a slightly comfortable silence the three of them didn’t mind. Though, unfortunately the silence was then interrupted by a black-haired girl who placed her hand on Evan’s shoulder slightly startling Evan who didn’t even notice she was trailing behind them.
”Soo~ Whatcha guys up to?” Cassidy asked with a shit eating smirk on her face who wants to know all about the things they were about to talk about.
”We were gonna interrogate Gregory on why he didn’t visit and stayed at my or Evan’s place when he got kicked out of his house.” Cassie replied bluntly, seemingly not caring about it and wants to get straight to the point.
Cassidy just hummed in response as she lets go of Evan’s shoulder. “Noted! So lets start this so called interrogation then! Let me start first if you may — Gregory, why didn’t you visit and stayed at Cassie’s or Evan’s house after you got kicked out? You know where their houses are, so.. why didn’t you?” Cassidy asked, not waiting for a response as she looked at the brunette.
Gregory hummed, seemingly thinking of a response. “Well.. I, just.. I dont know.. I wasn’t-.. thinking clearly I guess you could say. My mind was kind of a mess during that time — so, I.. kinda just couldn’t bring myself to stay at Cassie’s or even Evan’s place because I was feeling.. I’m not sure how you could.. describe it. I felt.. like a burden to you both for bringing you guys into my problem so, I just couldn’t stand the guilt or feeling of that so I decided just to stay on the streets and become homeless.” Gregory replied, fidgeting with his fingers while talking and looking down on the ground, avoiding any eye contact with his friends.
”Gregory..” Cassie said, placing her hands on Gregory’s back as he took the courage and decided to look at her.
Gregory brown eyes that felt like they were gonna cry met with Cassie’s amber eyes that glinted with pity and concern for him.
“You’re not a burden to me or Evan, you should know this by now. We could care less if you felt like a burden or guilty for bringing us into your problems, we don’t care about that, Gregory, if anything, we would very much include ourselves in with whatever trouble your having right now. Who cares about that whole guilty thing! No one except you, Gregory. We don’t care, so if you’re having any troubles, just come to us and we’ll help you out. It’s what friends do, right? And you could call this like payback for what you’ve done for us before, Gregory. Everyone’s worried and concerned for you.” Cassie said, with a concerned yet soft voice that was deeply worried for Gregory.
Gregory stopped in his tracks suddenly making everyone also stop walking. Gregory stood there for a while dazed when his eyes started tearing up as he quickly rushed to wipe his tears as they kept falling down.
This was probably the first time anyone has ever seen Gregory cried before, they all looked puzzled before jumping into action as they tried to comfort him.
Gregory started sobbing uncontrollably as Cassie rubbed his back while both Cassidy and Evan tried to reassure and comforting him.
”Y-.. You guys..” Gregory sobbed as his words were starting to becoming incoherent.
”I- It’s alright, Gregory! W-We’re here for you!” Evan tried to comfort Gregory as he was stuttering over his words.
Gregory sobbed even more from the attempts of his friends trying to comfort him.
”Guys.. S- stop.. Your gonna make me cry even more..” Gregory sobbed out, his words barely even comprehensible.
After hearing what Gregory had spoken that was barely intelligible, the three of them had stopped what they were doing as Gregory had started to calm down now.
After Gregory had stopped bawling his eyes out, he was a whole mess. His eyes were red from crying, and his hair was slightly messy. Anyone could tell that Gregory was sobbing his eyes out earlier.
”sorry you guys had to deal with that earlier..” Gregory mumbled, his words were now more comprehensible now.
”Man, your kinda starting to act like Evan not gonna lie.” Cassidy joked trying to cheer up the mood but Cassie and Evan glared at Cassidy both of them with the same thought in mind, “Now’s not the time to joke about this.” and it’s clear Cassidy got that from the glares the two of them gave — but it seemingly got a half-assed laugh from Gregory.
”yeah.. I kinda am, huh?” Gregory said in an attempt to cheer up the mood as well but his wobbly voice didn’t cut it as his energy was low unlike his usual high energy he had.
”Ok, we should probably get you home now! — So uh, where’s your home at?” Cassidy asked, “just follow me.” Gregory replied half-assed as he leads the way to his place.
When the four 5th graders arrived at Gregory’s house, Gregory knocked on the door. The four of them waited for the door to be opened.
The door opened revealing a blonde woman with bright green eyes that glinted worried eyes.
”Gregory! You’re late and you look like a mess. What happened to you?” The woman asked, as she kneels down to Gregory’s level.
”I’m fine, Vanessa. I just..-“ “Had a talk with some friends.” Cassie finished Gregory’s sentence, as Vanessa then looked st the three 5th graders behind Gregory.
”Oh, you must be Gregory’s friend! I’m really sorry about him.” Vanessa apologised, “It’s fine. Can we just talk inside? I’ll explain what happened to me, alright?” Gregory asked, wanting to go inside already.
”See you guys tomorrow.” Gregory said, waving at the three of them who waved back as they said their goodbyes.
”We need to up our game for operation Gregory Needs Therapy.” “Yup..” “Cassidy, do you want to join in our operation Gregory Needs Therapy?” Cassie asked randomly, “Um, of course! Why not?” Cassidy replied, “We needed more people anyways..” Evan responded, shyly fidgeting with his fingers. “Eh, true.” Cassie said. “Soo.. any plans?” Cassidy asked, both Cassie and Evan pondered for any plan that’d worked. “I think I have one.. but it’ll need to include one more person.. one that we just met earlier.” Cassie spoke up, raising her index finger up. “So, mind telling us?” Cassidy asked, wanting in on the plan, “Right! So first..”

”G- guys!” Evan said this time slightly louder than before but they still couldn’t hear him, when suddenly the door on the right opened revealing Evan’s elder brother, Michael, but Evan often refers him as Mike for short.
”Can you guys quiet down? You three are very loud and anyone can tell that. Even from a MILE away I would still be able to hear you guys. And Evan’s obviously distressed, can’t you see?” Everyone’s eyes averted to Evan who was indeed, distressed, but now is even more distressed from getting the attention of everyone.
OR

3rd person pov
”You know, Evan.. Your brother’s kinda an asshole don’t you think?” Gregory spoke while flipping the pages of Evan’s sketchbook.
“H-huh? Well.. I mean- I guess he is?.. B- but he’s my brother, so.. I- I’m not sure..” Evan replied, his sentence started to become slightly more quiet as he shyly fidgets with his fingers, looking around his room.
”Yeah, no. He is an asshole, Evan. Doesn’t change the fact that your his brother.” Cassie spoke up, scaring the shit out of Gregory and Evan not noticing Cassie entered the room.
Gregory accidentally dropped Evan’s sketchbook as he went to pick up the book and place it on the bed.
”Geez, Cassie! You scared the shit out of me!” Gregory stated, slightly annoyed but also slightly embarrassed for being scared at Cassie.
”Pfft, okay, okay, since you two are both pussies, I’ll knock on the door and be the polite girl I am!” Cassie said, as she chuckled afterwards.
”That was kinda funny.” Cassidy said, scaring both Gregory and Evan again.
Gregory looked more exasperated as he glared at Cassidy, “Not funny. You guys should at least alert us you were both gonna be here, OR knock on the door!” Gregory said, pointing at the door on their left.
”Hmmm, how about.. no! I like seeing you guys being spooked. Especially Gregory.” Cassidy chuckled, teasing the both of them. Gregory glared at Cassidy with an annoyed face while Evan was still fidgeting with his fingers.
”I know right! Finally someone that can agree with me!” Cassie spoke up, as she walks up to Cassidy and put her hands on her shoulder.
“I’m just cool like that you know.” Cassidy said with a shit eating smirk as she crossed her arms.
”Whatever! Girls are dumb anyways..“ Gregory muttered the last sentence annoyed at the two girls in front of him.
“U-um.. why are you guys.. um.. here?..” Evan spoke up, stammering over his words looking like a nervous wreck.
“We just wanted to visit you guys, thats all!” Cassie said, letting go of Cassidy’s shoulder.
”Umm, nuh uh. Me and Evan were hanging out when you guys crashed over uninvited! This was supposed to be a boys night, not crashed by some dumb idiots!” Gregory spoke up, crossing his arms while looking at the two of them.
”Pshh, so? You guys didn’t even bother to invite us!” Cassie said, looking offended as she hugs her arms.
”U-um actually.. I wanted to-“ Gregory put his hand on Evan’s mouth. Now, Gregory was sweating slightly.
”Shhh! Quiet, Evan..” Gregory whispered to Evan in his ears.
”You wanted to invite us but Gregory didn’t let you?” Cassidy finished the sentence, looking at the two boys. Evan nodded in response.
”Wow, Gregory! I’m offended you didn’t want to invite us.. How could you!” Cassie said, joking around as she looked away dramatically.
“Well!.. Well.. well..” Gregory said, trying to think of a response but finding none as he put his hands on his chin, pondering for a good comeback to say.
”Well?..” Cassie asked, looking at Gregory with her right eyebrow slightly raised up.
”Well-!.. well I didn’t want the girls to come and ruin the fun!” Gregory replied, looking annoyed.
”Ha?! What do you mean “ruin the fun”? As if! If anything, it’d probably.. be.. be lame without us!” Cassidy said, annoyed at Gregory’s comeback.
“G-guys?..” Evan said, trying to calm the three of them down but quickly got shut off because the three of them could barely even hear Evan.
”No, it’d definitely be lame like! You’d.. you’d talk about.. about lamey stuff like umm.. crushes or something!” Gregory defended, but this only added fuel to the flame.
”What?! As if! We would definitely be talking something more fun than crushes!” Cassie said, annoyed at Gregory’s remark.
“U-um.. I-I-..” Evan stammered over his words, fidgeting with his fingers while looking down to avoid any eye contact.
“Whatever, keep it down guys. It’s annoying hearing y’all blabbering over stupid shit.” Michael said as he slammed the door presumably going back his room.
”Sorry about that, Evan..” Gregory apologised, now feeling guilty for being in a now useless heated argument.
“Yeah.. We’re really really sorry!” Cassie apologised, Cassidy nodded before speaking up. “We’re sorry for not being able to hear you..” Cassidy said, looking ashamed.
”I-it’s okay guys!” Evan said, trying to lessen the tense mood as he puts his hands up.
“Well.. I guess you guys could stay.” Gregory admitted, crossing his arms.
”Awee! I knew you cared about us!” Cassie said, jumping on Gregory’s back which made him surprised.
“W- Whatever! Get off of me now.” Gregory asked, making Cassie fall on the ground.
Cassie just chuckled as she got up.
”Evan! Evan!” Cassie called out in a whisper tone while shaking Evan’s body to wake him up.
”Huh?.. W- what is it, Cassie?..” Evan said while getting up, half asleep.
”Shh shh! You might wake Gregory up!” Cassie shushed Evan as she puts her finger on Evan’s mouth trying to shush him up from waking the said person who was snoring (loudly) and probably dead asleep.
”He’s literally dead asleep. Look at this man, bro!” Cassidy said, pointing at Gregory who was drooling all over, while Cassidy was trying so hard to contain her laughter as she put her hand on her mouth at an attempt to hold back laughter. (which worked, luckily)
”Shh! Shut up, Cassidy! Anyways, it’s time for our meeting for the operation! We still need to get to know Vanessa though.” Cassie said, sitting down criss cross as she placed her hands on her leg.
”True.. We only met like twice, right? When we walked Gregory back home..” Evan said, thinking of other moments when the three of them met Vanessa.
”Oh oh! I have an idea! We could stay over at Gregory’s for a sleepover!” Cassidy spoke up as she raised up her hand.
”Ok, sure but what’s the excuse? And do you even think that Gregory would let us over have a sleepover?” Cassie responded, emphasising on the word think.
“Alright, so our excuse is that we just wanted to see Gregory’s place and you know!” Both Evan and Cassie look at Cassidy dead in the eyes. (are you serious?)
”I- I doubt thats gonna work, though..” Evan responded, slightly nervous.
“Nah nah, Evan. Trust me, dude. It’ll work.” Cassidy replied, putting her hand on Evan’s shoulder in an attempt to assure him it’ll work.
”Fine! But it doesn’t work, I’m blaming it all on you.” Cassie said bluntly.
”Okay, okay, chill!” Cassidy defended, putting her hands in the air.
”So.. we’re going back to sleep now?” Evan asked while hugging his Fredbear plush.
”Yeah, that’s all for today. Tomorrow same time, 8:30pm.” Cassie replied, putting her index finger up.
”Noted, goodnight guys.” Cassidy said, putting her hands behind her head as she laid down.
”G-goodnight..” Evan yawned as he got into bed and immediately passed out.
“Night!” Cassie whispered-yelled as she closed her eyes.

Chapter 4: tea party!
Summary:
”You took proximately..” Cassidy looked at her wrist (despite not having or wearing a watch), “9 minutes.” Cassidy finished, looking up to look at Gregory who was nervously sweating while still avoiding eye contact.
”Oh, really?.. Time must’ve passed by really fast ‘cause I didn’t realise!..” Gregory nervously said in an obvious nervous tone as he sweated.
”Do you.. Do you not want to have a tea party, Gregory?..” Elizabeth asked, saddened by that thought which immediately made Gregory looked at her and frantically try to not make her more sad.
OR
Cassie, Cassidy, and Gregory came over to Evan’s house to hangout with him and Elizabeth, his younger sister.
During the tea party, Elizabeth discovered she had a crush on Gregory. (Evan and Michael did NOT took that lightly..)

3rd Person Pov
“Michael, your in charge of taking care of your two siblings. Don’t go cause any trouble for me and your mother. We’ll be back at around 9 PM.” William said.
“Yeah yeah yeah I got it already.” Michael had replied, annoyed at the repeated sentences William would tell the brown-haired boy.
The three kids said goodbye to their parents as they left the house, presumably going to their date.
”U-um.. Mikey? C-.. can I invite my friends over?.. please?..” Evan pleaded, shyly playing around his fingers while waiting for a response.
Michael sighed, “Fine, I don’t see why not? As long as they don’t cause trouble.. like last time.” the eldest kid replied, making the middle one look up, slightly dazed.
”A-alright!” Evan said, heading up to his room but was interrupted by the youngest child, Elizabeth, “Evan! Can I hang out with your friends?” Elizabeth asked, giving Evan puppy eyes, begging for him to say yes.
”S-sure..” Evan replied, despite not wanting to, but gave in anyways to not make her sister upset or saddened.
“Dude, this is literally so boring.” Gregory said, sitting down on the floor with Cassie and Cassidy in Elizabeth’s room.
”No it isn’t, your boring the one who’s boring. This is fun stuff, I dont know what you mean.” Cassie replied, looking at Gregory slightly annoyed.
”Well, it’s girl related stuff and I dont want to join this stupid tea party or whatever.” Gregory got up about to leave the room when Evan and Elizabeth entered the room.
”Gregory! Where are you going? We’re about to start the tea party!” Elizabeth asked Gregory innocently. Gregory slightly hesitated.
”To the bathroom.” Gregory lied, with no remorse as he didn’t wait for a response and immediately got out of the room not wanting to feel guilty about what he did.
”Oh, okay! Come back when your done!” Elizabeth yelled as Gregory “went” to the bathroom.
Evan sat down besides Cassidy, “He’s not going to the bathroom.” Cassidy whispered.
”Yeah, kinda figured that out already..” Evan whispered back as Elizabeth sat down, getting the tea party ready.
“Not gonna lie, I thought he’d give in when he saw Elizabeth’s face..” Cassidy admitted while whispering to Evan.
Evan nodded in response, seemingly not knowing what else to say as the tea party started.
Meanwhile with Gregory..
Gregory hummed a song (seems like from a cartoon or some sort?) while walking around presumably exploring the house since Gregory got nothing better to do than.. explore.
Gregory looked around walking in the hallway when he noticed one specific door that had “DO NOT ENTER” on it. “This must be Michael’s room or something..” Gregory thought as he decided to open the door revealing none other than Michael in his room.
”What the fuck?” Michael said, getting up when Gregory decided to enter the room, looking around the room.
“Wow.. Your bedroom.. is so boring.” Gregory said bluntly as he looks up to look at Michael who was already pissed off by Gregory entering the room.
”So? Get out of my room, damn it.” Michael said, exasperated as he points outside of his room.
”Okay, okay. Geez, man. What’s up your ass today?..” Gregory mumbled under his breathe as he exited Michael’s room.
”Nothing is up my ass just to let you know.” Michael responded, presumably hearing what Gregory had said earlier as he slammed the door on him. Gregory felt slightly embarrassed Michael had heard what he mumbled earlier.
“Eh, oh well..” Gregory said, hoping to forget about that moment, he went exploring the hallways.
Gregory continued to hummed the song that he had hummed earlier.
The brunette decided to head downstairs and he instantly headed to the kitchen with no thoughts in his mind.
He went into the kitchen, looking around before his eyes shifted to the fridge, with instinct he headed to the fridge and opened the door.
“And.. what the hell are you doing here?” Michael asked, walking into the kitchen looking at Gregory who was rummaging their fridge.
”Huh? Oh, umm~.... Nothing!” Gregory replied, closing the fridge to turn to look at Michael who was standing in the doorway.
“Now, um.. Can you.. move? So I can you know, exit?” Gregory asked, walking up to Michael.
“Fine.” Michael responded, moving out of the way. Gregory immediately ran off to Elizabeth’s room.
”Hey guys! I’m back.” Gregory said, sitting down besides Cassie.
”You’re late.” Elizabeth said looking disappointed, “Hahaha.. yeah.. I took a while yea?” Gregory said, rubbing the back of his head, laughing nervously while averting his eyes to look somewhere else to avoid any eye contact to avoid looking at Elizabeth’s saddened face which will make him more guilty than he was.
”Nonono! I-I-I do want to have a tea party with you! I- I just got distracted and lost track of time! You know, people lose track of time so!..” Gregory said in a panic, frantically trying to make sure Elizabeth didn’t cry.
Elizabeth looked up at Gregory, holding back her tears, “R- really?..” She asked, (despite knowing it was probably all lies, but it somehow comforted her a little knowing Gregory didn’t want to make her upset or saddened)
”Yes, really!” Gregory said firmly, looking at Elizabeth’s eyes. (which made Elizabeth’s cheek flushed as she looks at him dreamily..)
“Are you seeing what I’m seeing?” Cassie whispered to Cassidy while looking at the two of them.
”If your talking about how it looks like Elizabeth fell in love, then yes.” Cassidy whispered back, not taking her eyes off of the two.
“W- what?!” Evan whispered-yelled looking at the two of them who still didn’t took their eyes off the two, meanwhile Evan looked seemingly surprised his sister had fallen in love with his best friend.
After the three had left..
“Evan.. I- I think I like Gregory..” Elizabeth immediately admitted as she watched the trio walk each other back home.
”W- WHAT?!!” Evan said, slightly louder than he intended to be, immediately stunned as he stared at his sister who was daydreaming while staring out of the window.
”You- you like Gregory?” Michael asked over the couch, overhearing their conversation as he was also stunned as he stared at his young sister, baffled.
”Yes! Is that a problem?” Elizabeth replied, turning around to look at her two brothers who were both stunned.
”N-No?” “Yes!” Both the two boys said in sync, but the younger boy’s voice was overpowered by the older one’s voice who had mixed feelings about his sister having a crush on a boy, specifically, Gregory.
”Why can’t I have a crush on Gregory? It’s my choice!” Elizabeth pouted, upset that her two brother’s disapproved Gregory.
”Because, I think that you’d be better of liking other boys that are.. more.. nicer?..” Evan admitted shyly.
”But- Gregory is nice! He joined the tea party even though it was obvious he didn’t want to! A-and he tried comforting me and assuring me he wanted to join the tea party..” Elizabeth defended, her voice becoming slightly quieter as she stares down, her cheeks were redder than they were before as she thought about the kind moments Gregory had done for the gingered girl.
Michael stared at his sister in disbelief. Disbelief that she actually has a crush on someone unlike the last previous ones that were just fake crushes, and disbelief she likes Gregory. She could’ve chosen anyone. (no like literally.. anyone.)
”Elizabeth... Gregory, he’s.. literally the devil. He’s a troublemaker-“ “So? You are too, but that’s not stopping you from anything, isn’t it?” “Eli’s right, Mikey..”
Michael had to breathe for a moment to compose himself before he slapped Elizabeth. “Ok, but still! I don’t want my baby sister to.. be a trouble maker like Gregory. He’s literally the devil, someone who you shouldn’t have a crush on. Take my advice, Eli.” “Denied! I’ll love Gregory forever and that’s not stopping me from anything!” Elizabeth yelled, running away to her room as the two brothers stood there, seemingly baffled.
Evan sighed as he sat down on the couch, slouching and feeling drained from Elizabeth’s nonsense crush on Gregory.
Michael just sat down on the couch while sighing (not yet giving up on Elizabeth yet though), and changed the TV channel to something else.
”Still can’t believe Eli has a crush on Gregory..” Evan spoke up, sitting up properly this time.
”I know. It’s fuckin’ unbelievable..” Michael admitted, agreeing with his younger brother.
Notes:
this is just a self note to myself but like here’s the afton kid’s and main 4 ages
Gregory - 10
Evan - 10
Cassie - 10
Cassidy - 10
Elizabeth - 7
Michael - 15ALSO NOTE TO SAY!!! I’m not shipping gregory x elizabeth, I just thought it’d be funny if I made elizabeth had a crush on gregory so it’s practically one sided (btw their age gap is like 3 years if anyone’s curious)
