Shinonome Akito, a boy who works at a flower shop always had a common visitor. Not someone that comes by every week, it's someone that comes by every day.
Who would even spend that much money on flowers? The prince, Tsukasa Tenma of course.
He came to the shop a lot, buying all kinds of flowers that he thought looks beautiful.
But, because of those visits, Tsukasa quickly learned about Akito a lot. He now knows Akitos favourite flower, colour, food, and more.
Akito as well, he knows more about Tsukasa than he knows more about his friends. I mean, Akitos literally friends with a prince thats known quite well in the village.
"AKITO!!" screamed Tsukasa, entering the shop. Great, Akito has to deal with this loud prince at 8am in the morning.
"Morning, Akito! How are you?" asked Tsukasa, while looking at the flowers on the shelves.
"I'm okay. Is it the usual lilies?" spoke Akito.
Tsukasa usually just buys lilies, saying that it was his family's favourite or something.
Tsukasa nodded and Akito instantly prepared the flowers, making sure they're good and cutting them perfectly.
Akito handed Tsukasa the bouquet and Tsukasa gave him pay. Akito doesn't even need to say how much, because Tsukasa clearly remembers.
"Ah right! Akito can you come by the castle at 6? I have something to tell you there!" pleaded Tsukasa, looking at Akito with the puppy eyes, clearly showing that it's important.
And Akito, almost melted at that. Akito had many thoughts of what it could be, Tsukasa inviting him to his place sounded like those romantic books where- okay Akito, snap out of it.
"Oh- Uhm. Yeah sure." agreed Akito, looking at the star in front of him beaming with excitement and shining brighter than the sun.
"Okay, I'll see you there Akito! Bye!" said Tsukasa, leaving the shop while waving at Akito.
Akito realized that his cheeks were flaming red, like a tomato.
Damn you, Tsukasa.

It was 6pm, Tsukasa was waiting at the gates for Akito, keeping his eyes peeled for Akito.
...
It's now 6:20pm, he's been waiting for 20 minutes and there was no signs of Akito.
'Maybe Akito forgot or he's busy..' thought Tsukasa, disappointed.
Just as he was about to give up and go into the castle, he heard someone running towards him.
"Tsukasa!" shouted Akito. He was out of breath, but didn't care. He was making Tsukasa wait.
When Tsukasa turned around, he saw a familiar ginger hair and a yellow streak, he instantly knew who he was.
"Akito!" shouted back Tsukasa, instantly smiling.
When Akito reached to him, he was gasping for air a lot. So Tsukasa waited for him to catch his breath.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting, my friends found out and started to pick out my clothes.." apologized Akito, looking down a little.
Tsukasa didn't really blame his friends, Akito looked handsome and majestic, the sunset making him look more beautiful is just really driving Tsukasa crazy.
"It's okay, now come in! I have something to twll you," said Tsukasa, opening the gates for Akito, signaling him to go first.
Akito nodded and went in the castle, it was really pretty. Though, he was more excited on what Tsukasa wanted to tell him.
Tsukasa leaded Akito to the back, saying that it's a suprise along the way.

"And.. Here we are!" Tsukasa opened the gate to a garden, full of sunflowers. Tsukasa learned that Akitos favourite flowers are sunflowers, so he decided to add a beautiful scenery to the surpise.
Akito, was in suprise. He looked like he was about to cry right there. He never had anyone do this for him.
Before Akito was about to say something, Tsukasa held his hand and pulled Akito to the middle.
When they were there, Tsukasa cleared his throat. Hinting Akito to focus on him, and Akito did. He didn't even really needed a hint.
"I wanted to tell you that.." Tsukasa stopped, deciding if he should continue.
"I wanted to tell you that.. I.. like you a lot," confessed Tsukasa, building up the courage to let it out.
"I like you a lot, Akito. And I don't mean 'like' as in friends way, I love you." confessed Tsukasa again, he was hoping for an answer.
Feelings are mixing in his stomach, knowing that Akito would probably say no and never talk to him again.
Akito was there, standing in shock. Jaw almost dropping, not knowing what to say, because he feels the same.
The silence was uncomfortable, but Tsukasa decided to break it.
"It's okay if you don't like me back, I comple-" Tsukasa was cut off by lips on his.
Realizing that Akito was kissing him, his worries quickly disappeared and kissed him back.
It felt like heaven, he felt like he is in heaven. Akito tasted like pancakes and sweets, it made him feel crazy.
When they pulled back, both of them were out of breath, trying to calm down.
After a while, Akito finally decided to say something.
"I like you too.. Ugh.., I was supposed to confess first..," said Akito, while pulling Tsukasa into a hug.
Tsukasa chuckled, returning the hug.
"I love you."
