Summary
V just wants to play soccer and hang out with their friends. They do not want to deal with debutantes, gender norms, or straight boys (namely their soon-to-be-ex Justin). But when the girls' soccer team at Cornwall gets cut for their senior year of high school, V will have to enter the world of straight (and maybe not-so-straight) boys at Cornwall's rival school, Illyria, to fight for a chance to do their favorite thing in the world: play soccer. And maybe queer the hearts and minds of Illyria while they're at it. Duke just wants to play soccer, hang out with the soccer boys — or maybe just Toby — and make it to graduation without being put in any more uncomfortable romantic situations. Or better yet, any conversations at all about hot girls, crushes, dating, or sex. And definitely not any conversations about his sexuality.
