Chapter Text

“Agent Aquato we have a new mission for you.”

“HHHAAALLLPPP! The villain society are using some psychic rock to destroy the city!”

Molly yawned.

She didn’t know how her school could afford a trip to a far away city like Fair City but she sure isn’t complaining, as long as she gets naps anything’s great.

She stayed up all night watching the store and she made sure to ask her friends to wake her up once they’re there.

“Alright kids! We’re here.” The teacher sang out.

Molly groaned. Why couldn’t the ride be longer?

She joins her classmates as they excitedly leave the bus and look around.

What was so special about this city again?

Ugh, everyone is getting loud again.

She puts up her bubble and begins walking away.

“Ahh, that’s better.”

She didn’t notice how everyone seems to be screaming behind her.

That’s when she felt the ground shake.

She turns around to see a giant robot attacking the city.

“What the fu-“

A boy pushes her out of the way.

“Are you okay?” He asks.

“Y-yeah, what is going on?” Molly asks.

“Not sure, but you better go find somewhere safe to hide.” He says as he runs off.

“Wait- and he’s gone.”

Just what is going on?

It’s been a while since all the villains teamed up together.

That doesn’t mean it’s not annoying.

Captain HuggyFace began screeching.

“What’s wrong, Huggy?” Wordgirl asks.

He points to two kids near the battle, one is actively looking for a fight while the other is trying to stop him.

“Who on earth would- never mind.”

She goes down and grabs them.

“You two shouldn’t be near to this.” She says.

“What is going on?!” The girl shouted.

Ah, tourists. That explains it.

“Welcome to Fair City, where villains attack daily.” She says.

“What?!”

“That makes my job a bit more complicated.” The boy says.

Huh, is he a new superhero?

“This might be unrelated, but are the villains using some rock?” He asks.

“Yeah, how did you know?” She answers.

“I’m supposed to find a rock that is poisonous to psychics, and very dangerous on the wrong hands.” He says.

“Well, it’s too dangerous to be near right now. Especially at their mood right now.” Wordgirl points to the Whammer going crazy.

She puts both of them down and heads towards the battle.

What she didn’t expect is how bad this battle went.

Sofia was having a good day.

She was having a day off from her duties of being a protector of the EverRealm so she decided to have a stroll in her old village.

But then she heard a weird noise coming from the old shoe shop and went to check it out.

She wasn’t expecting to find three kids passed out in the ground.

Raz groaned as he opens his eyes.

What happened? The last thing he remembered was someone smashing the Psitanium to the ground and everything exploded.

“Oh, good. You three are awake.”

He startles at the voice of a young girl staring at him.

Wait, did she say three?

That’s when he looks around to find himself in a strange clinic and the two girls who were there at the battle.

“I feel like roadkill.” The girl with stars on her head groaned.

“Same.”

…

“Where are we?”

So it turns out-

They’re in another dimension.

And not a single one of them knows how to go back.

What is he going to do?

“I can talk to the other protectors, but no one has ever heard of travelling other realms.” The princess, Sofia says.

“So where are we going to live?” Becky asks.

“I can convince my parents to let you sleep in the guest rooms.” Sofia offered.

“Oh no, you don’t have to do that, your highness.” Molly says.

“It’s fine. My job is to help people after all.” Sofia says.

“If you’re letting us live here for a while, at least let us do something in the castle while we try to find a way home.” Raz offered.

“Are you sure?” Sofia asks.

“Yeah, I’d feel bad if I was freeloading, especially if the people I’m freeloading are royalty.” Becky says.

“…Well, I still need to talk to my parents about it. I’ll see what I can do.

Chapter Text

Sofia was glad that her parents let her new friends stay in the castle for the while.

And due to their request, the three of them have jobs.

Molly will help the maids, Raz is Cedric’s apprentice, and Becky will patrol.

It’s going to be a few interesting months in the castle.

Molly just finished with the laundry, and wipe of the sweat from her head.

She thought that working for royalty would be more stressful than managing her family’s taxes but this is oddly relaxing?

Her eye bags felt lighter as well, it’s kind of weird.

“Hey, Molly!”

She turns to see Sofia waving at her.

“Oh, hi, princess. Did you need something?” Molly asks.

“No, nothing like that. I was wondering if we could hang out?” Sofia asks.

Huh, the princess wants to hang out with her? Kind of make sense, she is from another dimension after all, who wouldn’t be curious?

“Sure.”

Molly was nervous.

Sofia wanted to take her to flying.

She’s never done this before, what if she makes both of them fall down?

“Ready?”

No.

“Yeah.”

Minamus took off and Molly had to cling onto Sofia so she wouldn’t fall.

If she opens her eyes, she’ll surely panic.

“Uh, Molly? You might want to open your eyes.”

She hesitantly did as she told and couldn’t believe the sight she’s staring at right now.

The Ever Realm is actually beautiful up here.

Later that day, Becky and Raz didn’t question about Sofia and Molly sleeping together and put a blanket on them.

“Thanks for helping me setting these up, Becky.”

“No problem, Raz.”

Raz and Becky have taken a break from their duties and decided to spend the time finding a way home.

They both stare at the mountain pile of books.

“This is going to take a while.” Raz says.

“What do you mean? This is just light reading.” Becky says.

“You call this light?”

“So why did you become a superhero?”

Becky looks up to Raz in surprise.

“What?”

“What made you decide to be a superhero? I’m curious.” He says.

Becky got silent.

Why did she become a superhero?

She tries to think really hard, she knows she was around 5 when she started but for some reason she can’t remember anything before that.

All she can remember were blurred faces smiling at her.

“I can’t remember.”

…

She feels pretty stupid right now.

“Sooo, what about you? I heard about the Psychonauts but not that much.”

Becky was glad that Raz’s fanboyness distracted the awkwardness.

Chapter Text

Today is one of Sofia’s favorite days.

She gets to spend time with Cedric.

And maybe she’ll get to know Raz more.

She can’t wait.

“Ah, princess, you’re here. Now we can start.”

Raz is a little curious about Sofia. She wasn’t expecting the princess to be so interested in learning magic.

Guess he can’t judge a book by it’s cover.

“So, what are we going to do today, Mr. Cedric?” She asks.

“Well, we are going to-“

A knock is heard.

“Cedric? His majesty wants to see you.” Baileywick called out.

The man groaned.

“Looks like we’ll do this in another day, children.” Cedric says as he left.

…

“So do you want to see if you have psychic powers?”

Cedric and King Roland were busy talking when a giant explosion rumbled the castle.

“What was that?!”

Cedric was worried, he didn’t left a potion running, did he?

They rush towards the tower and they heard yelling and screaming.

“Put it out! Put it out!” They hear Sofia’s voice shouting.

“I’m trying! This is my first time using Hydrokinesis!” Raz’s voice shouted back.

“Hold on! I’m sure Mr. Cedric has a water spell!” Sofia shouted.

Oh, god, what did those two do?

Cedric knocks on the door and the yelling stop.

“Sofia? Is everything okay there?” Roland called out.

“Y-yeah, dad, everything’s fine!” Sofia says.

“Do you mind if you let me in?” Cedric asks.

“NO!”

That just made them more suspicious.

Cedric quickly opens the door and sees fire everywhere with Raz and Sofia smiling sheepishly.

“We can explain.”

Chapter Text

Between all the three guests, Raz is actually the least busiest.

Yet, Molly and Becky somehow find time to hang out despite their schedules. But neither of them know each other that much.

Becky was getting a little bit bored.

Nothing ever happens in patrols.

“Hey, Becky!”

She turns to Molly waving at her.

She flies down.

“Hey, Molly. Is something wrong?” Becky asks.

“Have you seen my hoodie?” Molly asks.

Now that she’s taken a closer look, Molly isn’t wearing her usual bear hoodie today.

“No, I haven’t.”

Why does Molly look so panicked?

“Rex, give that back!”

Becky and Molly are chasing James’ pet dog, whose mouth is currently occupied with a familiar hoodie.

“Okay, you asked for it.” Becky whispered and sped up her flight.

She grabbed Rex and took the hoodie from his mouth, and handed it to Molly.

“Thanks, Becky.”

Molly quickly checked the hoodie.

“There’s no tear, that’s good.”

…

“That hoodie is really important to you, huh?” Becky asks.

“Yeah, my mom made it for me. It’s one of a kind.” Molly says.

“Wow, your mom must be a really good sewer.” Becky says.

Molly smiled sadly.

“Yeah…she was…”

Chapter Text

“Finally, some peace and quiet.”

Sofia and Becky are both laying down on the princess’ secret garden.

“Tell me about it, sometimes, it’s just nice to take a break, you know?”

Oh, Becky can agree about that.

…

“So, protector of the kingdom, huh? What’s that like?” Becky asks.

“Actually, I’m one of the protectors of the entire realm. And it’s harder than it sounds.” Sofia giggled.

‘Yeah, I bet.’ Becky thought.

Protecting the city was hard enough, but an entire country? No thanks.

“But, I bet you have more experience than me. I heard from Raz you started way younger than me?” Sofia added.

“Yep. Started when I was 5.” Becky says.

“Really? That’s so young.” Sofia says.

The princess couldn’t imagine doing anything at that age.

“Was there anyone who helped you?” She asks.

“Yeah! There’s my sidekick, Captain HuggyFace and there was this guy who trained me, Steven Boxleithner, he was my Cedric, and-“ Becky trailed off.

Huh, Fair City always has superheroes. There are even retired ones that still live there, Becky was sure there was another superhero that helped. Maybe she couldn’t remember.

“That’s everyone who helped me. And then I just started taking over after that.” She finished.

Sofia stares at the sky. Would she be like Becky one day? Enough experience to do all the work on her own?

Somehow, she doubts that.

Chapter Text

Ever since the fire incident, Raz has been banned for giving Psychic lessons in the castle.

But no one said anything about not giving acrobat lessons.

“Raz, are you sure this is a good idea?”

Molly looks down at the set that Raz put up. There are things to climb on while mattresses are lying around.

“Sure, it is. I even made sure to add extra pillows.” Raz says.

None of this reassures her.

“Okay, but why me? Wouldn’t Becky or the princess be more interested with this?” She asks.

“Both of them can fly, they don’t need this. Besides, Cedric will kill me if I teach the princess acrobatics.” Raz says.

“I doubt Cedric will do that.”

“That man scares me more than the king.”

A few hours have passes, and Molly is managing it just fine.

I mean, she’s not a master like Raz is, but she can walk on lines without tripping.

“Okay, I see what the problem is now.” Raz says.

She looks at him curiously.

“You’re too malnourished, and a bit sleep deprived. I think you should stay in shape first before trying any of this.” Raz says.

Well, that’s just rude. But Molly thinks that makes sense. So she tried.

Chapter Text

They found it.

They found a way home.

They have to fly their way to the second star.

Now all they have to do is say goodbye.

“I’m gonna miss you guys.” Sofia says.

“On the bright side, I can visit you when I have the time.” Becky says.

“Or we can find a faster way to travel?” Molly suggested.

“Sasha can probably come up with something.” Raz murmured.

“Well, I want to make this day memorable. What do you guys want to do?” Sofia asks.

“Raz, this is by far the stupidest thing we’ve ever done.”

The four of them decided to combine their powers and see what happens.

“Why are we even doing this? At what point will we ever have to do this attack?” Becky asks.

“Molly might not be able to, but all three of us might have to team up one day to fight bad guys and a combo attack is really cool.” Raz says.

“That’s kind of rude.” Sofia says.

“So how are we doing this?” Becky asks.

“Oh that’s easy, Sofia and I will shoot at the same time and you start spinning around it and make a tornado!” Raz says.

“And what will I do?” Molly asks.

“You said your epithet is Dumb, so I was thinking that you can use it to make the tornado small enough to not kill anyone?”

“So basically, you want me to do damage control.”

“Why do I get the feeling that this going to blow up in our faces?” Sofia asks.

Thankfully enough, no one got hurt and it turned out fine.

And all four of them laughed on their way home.

Sofia giggled at the thought of having to use an attack like that, there’s no way that will ever happen.

Right?

Chapter Text

It’s been a while since the trio left the Ever Realm.

And it was bad.

Raz’s family thought he was dead and a ghost when he came back. Took days to convince them that he’s not, and they won’t let him out of their sight.

Fair City was in chaos because of the villains and Becky has to clean up the mess. The City understandably doesn’t trust her anymore, and that’s not to mention how the Botsfords and her friends were worried sick out of their minds.

And Molly…well things started acting the same again once she went back. She doesn’t know how her dad and sister managed to survive without her but she’s kind of glad that they did. At least she gets to sleepover at Phoenica’s house since her friends won’t let her out of her sight.

At least they manage to find time to talk to each other, such is the power of cell phones.

Now if only they find a way to talk to Sofia more.

CHF: T-T I can’t do anything because of the villains and my family.

CHF: I know that this is your first time to use a cellphone, but please type normally.

Molly logged out of the chat before Becky could spam the chat.

She loves those two, but sometimes they can a bit much.

The door opens and Molly braces herself in case of a ‘Karen’.

But to her surprise, it was a black angel wearing an armor.

“Hello there, are you Molly Blyndeff?” He asks.

“Y…yes?”

“Ah good. Princess Sofia wanted to invite you to her graduation ceremony.”

…

What?

“Well, this is the tenth weirdest thing I’ve done in my life.”

Molly, Becky, and Raz are wearing suits for the ceremony and are sitting with the royals and their own family.

“So…why are your parents here?” Molly asks.

“Do you really think that our parents will let us leave their sight for one more minute after we got home? No. They insisted that they join as well.” Becky says.

“I just hope mine doesn’t do anything embarrassing.” Raz says.

“Wait, Molly. Where are your parents?”

…

“Mom’s out of town and Dad wouldn’t care what happens to me.”

The ceremony went just fine and everyone went to Enchancia to celebrate.

The only problem is; Sofia hasn’t shown up yet.

“Something definitely happened.”

“I’ll go look for her.” Molly says.

Molly was not prepared for a villain attack.

“Can’t we just have one normal day?”

Sofia couldn’t believe it.

Her dad is really planning on running away instead of dealing with Vor.

She can’t let that slide, and she knows her friends wouldn’t too.

“We can’t just leave, Vor wants to take over the kingdom.” Sofia says.

“Someone should really get that woman to change her name.” Dion whispered.

“First, I have to make sure that you’re all safe. Our family means more than anything in the world.” Roland says.

“But when you’re in charge, it’s like the whole kingdom is your family.”

The Aquatos and Botsfords got surprised when she started singing.

And the song ended will all the children leaving.

This isn’t what everyone would expect on their first day on Enchancia.

“How is this possible?”

Vor lays down defeated as four children stand in front of her menacingly.

“Guess that’s what happens when you underestimate children.” Raz says.

Needless to say, this day will be remembered forever.

Princess Sofia Balthazar has been added to “Overworked Therapy Children.”

Princess Sofia Balthazar: What is up with the name?

CHF: Raz’s girlfriend came up with it. This is Becky by the way.

Princess Sofia Balthazar: What’s a girlfriend?

Beartrap: oh right your world isn’t modern like ours

Beartrap: its like…a female suitor?like when you court someone and before you get married?

Princess Sofia Balthazar: Oh! I get it now. Thanks, Molly. (I think?)

Princess Sofia Balthazar: Wait, Raz has a what now?

CHF: I swear to God, Raz, I will

Beartrap has muted CHF for 5 minutes

Beartrap: its too early for this

Princess Sofia Balthazar: That’s a little harsh, don’t you think?

Beartrap: shell get over it

Beartrap: ill make sure to watch it with my other friends

“5 tickets for the Aquato Acrobat show, please.”

Sweet Jazz City’s life turned upside down when the circus came to town.

Molly’s friends are excited to see the Aquatos perform. (No matter how much Sylvie denies it.)

“Are you guys ready to meet Raz and his fam?” Molly asks.

“Of course we are!” Phoenica says.

“It’d be cool to meet a psychic.” Trixie says.

“It is standard procedure that a villain meets his minions’ friends to make sure they don’t get hurt!” Giovanni says.

“…Raz isn’t like that, boss.”

“Seeing is believing, as the saying goes.” Sylvie says.

Molly groaned, why are boys so stupid?

Suddenly, Giovanni covered his face.

“Boss? What are you-“

“Ms. Bylndeff?”

Everyone froze at Percy’s voice. They turn to see the police lady wearing some casual clothes with four other people behind her. Two of them are Mera and Indus.

“Oh, hello officer. It’s nice to see you again.” Molly greeted.

“Likewise, are you here to watch the show?” Percy asks.

“Yeah, one of the acrobats is a friend of mine.”

“How splendid, it’s nice to see children making friends even from far away.”

Molly giggled. ‘You have no idea.’

Her friends are going to witness the most electrifying, daredevil, high-flying, and the most exciting stunts they’ll ever see.

Meanwhile, a mysterious figure is watching and laughing maniacally.

It’s been a while since he’s done this.

Raz hopes he won’t screw up the performance, especially since one of his new friends is watching.

Molly watches in awe.

She knew the Aquatos are famous acrobats but she didn’t know that they were this good.

Becky and Sofia are missing out.

All of the sudden, Raz grinned mischievously at her and grabs her hands when he swings by.

‘WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!’ She screamed in her thoughts.

‘Running the show.’ Raz grinned.

Oh god, she’s going to make a fool of herself. She has never performed before!

Meanwhile, with Becky and Sofia.

Princess Sofia Balthazar: My dad wants to do a peace treaty with your world.

CHF: Oh. Sorry, but I might not be able to greet you and your family once you get here. I’ve been training with this superhero that moved in recently.

Princess Sofia Balthazar: You’re getting help? That’s wonderful! Who is it?

CHF: She calls herself Miss Power.

Chapter Text

“I’m never doing that again.”

The show was over and almost everyone went home except for Molly’s group.

“Oh come, it wasn’t that bad. And you obviously had fun.” Raz says.

“I agree, you made a spetactular performance, Ms. Blyndeff.” Percy says.

Molly blushed at the compliments. It wasn’t that good.

“You did good kid, but Raz? Never do that again.” Augustus says.

“Yes, sir.”

“Well, I guess we should be heading home right now.” Sylvie says.

“Oh! Why not stay here for the night?” Donatella asks.

“Mom?!”

“Don’t be like that, Pootie, I want to get to know your friends more. Especially when I couldn’t get the chance during the princess’ graduation party.”

Mera perked up at that. Eyebags is friends with a princess?

“That is a very kind offer, Mrs. Aquato. But Meryl and I must get these three back safely.” Percy pointed to Mera, Indus, and Ramsey.

“Well, what about the rest of you?” Dion asks.

They all agreed to it.

“Good, because I’ve been planning to show Molly some of Raz’s baby pictures for a while now.”

Somewhere in the darkest parts of a person’s mind.

Loneliness is a cruel punishment.

But the causes can be the deadliest sins.

Denial, Regret, Abandonment, Betrayal.

Left alone for too long and it could lead you to insanity.

And turn everything into a nightmare that will never end.

Molly’s eyes opened and finds herself in a golden flower field.

“What the heck?”

Molly’s eyes turned to Raz and the rest of her friends, they all look surprised as well.

“Does…anyone know where we are right now?” Raz asks.

“No.”

Laughter rang through the skies as smoke swirls around them.

Red eyes stare into her green eyes.

“Let’s play a game.”

Chapter Text

Molly and Raz got separated from the group.

“Uh, Raz, do you know what’s going on?” She asks.

“Either we got teleported in our sleep or one of us is having a nightmare.” He answers.

“Wait, how could we be dreaming at the same time?” She asks.

“Sometimes when a psychic has really strong dreams, they tend to affect everyone around them in their sleep.”

“So…who’s dreaming?”

…

“So, how were you since the last time we met?” Raz asks.

“I’m fine. Been watching the store most of the time, but I did get to hang out with my friends more.” Molly says.

“You still work there?”

She looks up to Raz.

“Someone has to pay for the taxes.”

That got Raz angry.

“Your family sucks.”

And it led them to fight each other.

Not noticing the black smoke surrounding Molly.
