Everyone was scared and the sounds of people screaming were everywhere and policemen were searching
For any evidence that points to the identity of the killer... and there was a girl on the ground who was soaked in her own blood...
That killer had no mercy in his heart... The police men did not find any evidence indicating the identity of the killer...

One day after that crime...
Another murder occurred, the victim of a middle-aged young man...
He was killed the same way he killed that girl...

The next day... another murder occurred.
The first victim was...an old woman who works in an orphanage...
And a second victim... he was a man who owned a large business company...

These were all heinous crimes that had one thing in common...

In every crime scene, police officers find a card with a signature on it

(In Kogoro Mouri's office)

Kogoro was watching TV as usual, Ran was cleaning the house, and Conan was reading a book
But suddenly a call comes to Kogoro
When Kogoro answered, he knew that the caller was Inspector Nakmori!
Kogoro asked Nakmori why he was calling him, but Nakmori said that there was a serious case related to Kaitou Kid and said that he had to go to his office immediately!

Kogoro was surprised by this strange call, then Ran asked her father who was calling
Kogoro told her that the caller was Inspector Nakmori
He said that there was a serious case related to Kaito Kid and that he must go to his office immediately.

Conan closed the book and went to Ran's side until he knew what happened. After that, kogoro told Conan And ran what happened. Then Conan asked Kogoro what he thought about this case.

Kogoro said to Conan:
“Actually, Inspector Nakmori did not tell me anything about this case, but I think the reason for the case is that Kid wants to steal the jewelry as usual. Now let’s go.”

But Conan said to himself💭
“I don’t know why I feel a strange feeling... I feel like something bad is going to happen there... I think the case is bigger than just a jewelry theft case, much bigger than that...”

Half an hour after this talk

Kogoro and Konan were waiting for Ran

But soon after, Kogoro sees that Ran came with her best friend Sonoko

Kogoro said to Ran angrily:
“Why did you stay so late, Ran, and why is your rich friend here??
Don't say she'll come with us again?"

Then Sonoko said to Kogoro:
“Actually, I'm here this time to see Kid
And don’t worry, Uncle Touqo, I will never disturb you on the way.”

Conan said to himself:
“At least Soko didn’t lie like that once in the Paris”

They all got into a car and went to Nakmori's office
When they arrived, Sonoko was excited to know what would happen
When they entered Conan's office, Conan noticed that Inspector Nakmori was looking worried, and Conan was surprised by this.

Kogoro said to the inspector:
"What's this important, Nakmori? Is this one time Kid wants to steal a jewel again or what?"

Nakmori said to Kogoro while holding a file in his hand:
“No... the matter is much more important than this... it has become a matter related to the security of this entire country!!

Everyone was shocked by Nakmori words..

Kogoro said in shock:
“What did Kid do this time that made this issue concern an entire country??”

Nakmori gave this file to Kogoro, and when he opened the file, everyone was shocked... because these were mysterious crimes, and Nakmori explained to them everything that happened.

Sonoko said to him in shock:
“This... it is impossible for Kid to do something so terrible... I am sure he is innocent!”

Conan said to himself:
"You're right, Sonoko.. I'm also sure that Kid is innocent..

Nakmori told her:
“Even I feel that he is innocent...but all evidence indicates that he did it.”

Then Kogoro said angrily:
“Why should I be the last to know about this case??”

Nakmori said to him:

Then kogoro said:
“So what is my role in this case?”

Nakmori said:
“You have to investigate the matter and find out whether Kid did it or not.”

When Kogoro opened the door, he saw Kaito and his friends

Kogoro said in shock:

Nakmori said to him:

When they left Nakmori's office, Kogoro went to investigate a case, and Ran went with Aoko and Sonoko to the market.
Conan stayed with Kaito, Akako, and Hakuba alone

So Nakamori went with Kogoro to the police chief's office, and Conan and Kaito went with them. When they entered the office, they saw that Inspector Migori, Shiratori, Takagi, and Sato were there.

Tokomori said:

Nakmori then told the police chief:

A police chief told him:

Since you and Kogoro are so afraid of me, why don't you guard me? "

Kogoro and Nakamori said at the same time:
" Us ?? "

Then kogoro said:
“But I cannot leave my daughter alone in this danger.”

Sato told him:
“Don’t worry about her, Tougo, because your daughter Ran has the strength of ten men! And until your heart is at ease, I will take care of her.”

Kogoro thanked her and then Sato went to look for Ran
Kogoro and Nakmori went to a meeting with the police chief and Conan went with Kaito

Conan said:
"Did you know anything about the murderer ?"

Kaito told him:

Conan said to him:
"So.. who is the murderer ?.."

"The murderer is..."

Before he could finish his words...the electricity suddenly went out!

Kaito said:
"Murderer must have started his plan! The good thing I brought a lamp with me. Let's go to the police chief's office!"

We rushed to the office but we were already late...

We found Kogoro and Nakmori unconscious outside a room and when we entered the room we were shocked...there was blood everywhere in the room...and the people who were with the police chief were all dead...the police chief was unconscious and Murderer was holding him and he had a knife in his hand...he was shocked Murderer When we suddenly entered the room, Murderer quickly ran away, but Kaito caught him! But Murderer hit Kaito in the hand! Kaito was deeply wounded, so Conan told him to stay where he was and Conan went until he caught Murderer..

Kogoro and Nakmori woke up and were shocked by what happened

Nakmuri said:
"W-what happened?? Wait a minute...Kaito?? What are you doing here and what happened??"

Kaito said to him while he was still shocked:
“The Murderer...Conan...Ran and Sato...the police chief...they are all in danger!!”

Nakmori and Kogoro were shocked when they saw what happened inside the room..

Kogoro called an ambulance and they said they would come right away

Suddenly electricity came back and Nakmori said:
“It seems that Megure has restored electricity, but where is he now??”

Kaito was in his place and said to himself:
"I have to do something. I can't stay here and everyone is in danger."

When Kaito stood up and was about to go, he felt that there was someone behind him
When he looked behind him, he was shocked that it was Megure!

Kaito said:
“A..Inspector??”

Megure said:
"Kaito! Tell me what happened to your hand?? Where are Kogoro and Nakamori?"

Nakmori went out with Kogoro and a police chief and told him what happened

Inspector Migori told them:
"And I thought you would protect the police chief, and in the end you were sleeping with this??"

kogoro said to him:
"And what is my fault in this?? Murderer hit us on the head and we lost consciousness.."

Megure said:
“Since you and he cannot protect him, why did you say that you can carry out this mission??”

There was going to be a fight, but the police chief said:

Everyone was shocked by his words and Kogoro remembered that Ran and Conan

Kogoro was looking for Ran and Conan everywhere, but all of this was in vain because they did not find them until they found Conan, who was unconscious, and Kogoro tried to make him wake up in his own way. Kogoro hit Conan on the head, and everyone in Japan heard Conan screaming.

Conan said while shouting:
“Eyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, my head. Why did you hit me??”

Tokomori said coldly:
“Enough drama, boy... but where are Ran and Sato???”

Conan said:
"Drama said... He said... I mean they are on the second floor and is the police chief okay??"

Megure said:
"Don't worry, he's with Kaito, and an ambulance will arrive shortly."

Then they all went to the second floor, and here it was a shock... Sato was soaked in her own blood... and Ran was not in the same room... Takagi rushed to Sato to find out if she was okay.

Takagi said:
“Thank God, she is fine, but she just lost consciousness.”

Kogoro said angrily:
"But what happened to Ran??...Conan!"

Conan told him:
"Yes, uncle?"

Kogoro said:
“Tell me what happened when you went after Murderer??”

Conan said to him:
“After I left Kaito in his place because he was injured, I went after Murderer to catch him, but he was faster than me until he disappeared, and suddenly I felt that someone hit me in the head and I lost consciousness after that...”

Then Nakmori said:
“So, after Murderer hit you on the head, he must have gone to escape, but he confronted Ran and Sato and was able to hit Sato with the knife he had with him, and then he kidnapped Ran...”

kogoro said:
“I cannot stay here while Ran is kidnapped by a crazy murderer. We must go and look for her!!”

But Megure said to him:
“And what about Sato and the police chief?? We can’t leave them in this state! Wait for an ambulance to arrive and then we will look for Ran...”

Kogoro was silent because he knew that Meguri's words were true, and minutes later an ambulance arrived! They all went to the hospital...

Sato said:

Everyone was shocked by Sato's words, but Conan said:

Kogoro and Meguri said:

Megure said to himself:

Nakamori was sitting next to Kaito and then Kaito woke up

Nakmori said to him:

But suddenly he entered!...

Kaito and Nakmori were shocked🤡

Kaito said in shock:

Conan said fearfully:

Megure said:
"Enough talking, now let's look for Ran and Murderer!"

Ran woke up and found herself tied up and in an abandoned house

She saw that Murderer was there too!! Ran was very afraid
Murderer noticed that Ran woke up and said:
“So you finally woke up...Listen, I don’t want to kill you, and if you hear what I say, I will release you, but if you do anything stupid, you will regret it...”

Ran said to him:
"But why did you kidnap me then??"

Murderer said:

Murderer said as he wrote something on the wall:
"Don't try, you'll never understand me..."

Ran said in surprise:

Murderer said as he approached Ran with a drug in his hands:

An hour later, Conan, Kogoro, Meguri, and the rest found Ran's location via her phone...

They went to that abandoned house and found Ran sleeping. They removed the ropes that were tied to her and woke her from sleep.

kogoro said:
“Ran, are you okay? What happened???”

Ran said:
"Don't worry, Dad, I'm fine, but the murderer tricked you!"

Megure said in amazement:
“What are you saying, Ran, and how did he fool us??”

Ran answered:
"The idea of kidnapping me from the beginning was a trick so that Murderer would distract you, and now he has escaped and we do not know his whereabouts...and he left a message for you on that wall!"

They all looked at the wall in shock... and it was written...

“Your dearest criminal will die... who has unparalleled power... search on the past and you will know my story...”

Kogoro said in shock:
"W-what does that mean??"

Megure said:
"I think he will commit a new crime..."

Conan said in amazement:
“What does the phrase 'search on the past and you will know my story' mean??”

Ran said:
“I think he means for us to look into his past...I think something happened to him that made him do all this.”

Conan said to Ran:
“Wait a minute! Ran, you were with thé Murderer. Did he say something important at the time??”

Ran answered:
“Yes.. he said that he hates police officers and sees them as criminals, and that when he needed them, they did not help him.”

Everyone was shocked except Megure because he remembered something important that happened to him in his past, and you will know it with the events...

Conan noticed Meguri's sadness and said:
"What the matter, Sir Inspector? Are you okay?"

Megure woke up from his silence and said:

kogoro said:

Marinette said in shock.

the cat said:
“Of course, and will I forget that day? It was an amazing day!✨ Ran is the cute one, who reminds me of Marinette, kogoro is a failed detective, and sonoko is the rich girl, reminds me of Chloe, and Kaito Kid and Conan remind me of us, m'lady❤️✨”

Ladybug said to him:
“Yes, I agree with you, it was a really beautiful day.”

The cat also said:
“I hope to see them again and we can work together to save people from Hawkmoth and solve a case✨ but did something happen to them, why is this a sad look?...”

Conan:
"Kaito, I actually wanted to talk to you about something important."

Kaito:
"Why? Do you want to blame me like everyone else does?"

Conan:
"No, it's much more serious than that. Wait, what? Why would I do something like that??"

Kaito, handing Conan his phone:
"I don’t know. Maybe you’ll understand the reason now."

Conan took the phone and saw the title of the video:
"The True Criminal: Kaito Kid!!"

Conan, shocked:
"Who did this??"

Kaito, sadly:
"Just watch."

Conan played the video, and its content was:
"Today we bring you a new video about the latest celebrity news!
Kaito Kid is loved by millions, but let’s not forget he’s just a foolish thief who steals jewels and returns them for some unknown reason. We think he’s just a fame-seeker who deserves nothing but prison!
We’ve also heard he committed multiple murders, attempted to kill the police chief, and kidnapped Detective Mouri’s daughter..."

Conan stopped the video.

Conan:
"Come on, Kaito. Don’t tell me you’re upset because of a video."

Kaito looked at Conan with teary eyes☹️ and Conan hugged him...❤️

Kaito:

"I became Kaito Kid to find my father's killer... to stop that organization from achieving their evil goals."

Conan:
"Wait... that organization killed your father??"

Kaito:

Noticing Kaito was still sad, Conan decided to find something to cheer him up.

Anyway, we’re here today because our friend, Kaito Kid, is in trouble...

Conan was happy about the message and how Ladybug and Cat Noir remembered Kaito.

"Yes... I’m just touched by the message."

"I’ve made a decision!"

Ladybug, puzzled:
"What decision?"

Cat Noir:
"I’ve decided that when we get married, we’ll have the wedding in Japan! So Kaito Kid, Conan, Mouri, and everyone else can attend our wedding!💕✨ And of course, we won’t forget our friends here. They’ll travel with us to Japan😻✨."

Ladybug:
"That’s really sweet, but... isn’t it a bit early to talk about marriage?😑"

"Sir, I’m sorry... I should have killed him from the beginning."

Leader:
"Silence!! Are you an idiot?? I told you we’re not killing him... We’ll make him suffer until we force him to join us. Do you understand??"

Mysterious man:
"Yes, I understand, sir..."

(At Kogoro Office...)

Kogoro was waiting for any new updates from Nakamori about the case. Conan was watching TV while Ran was cooking. Finally Kogoro received a call. Conan tried to figure out what they were talking about, and then he heard Tokomori say,
“What? Are you sure?”

Ran and Conan both moved closer to find out what had happened.

Kogoro continued his call, and Ran asked,
“What happened, Dad?”

Kogoro replied,
“I think we have more problems to solve…”

(At the Police Station...)

Kogoro rushed into the police station, with Ran and Conan in tow. Nakamori noticed their presence.

Nakamori said,
“Finally, Tokomo! We have a real problem, and you’re late?”

Kogoro apologized,
“I’m sorry, Nakamori. There was heavy traffic, and I was delayed because of Conan and Ran.”

Nakamori looked at him in surprise,
“Didn’t you forget what happened the last time you brought them along?”

Kogoro replied,
“Yes, I forgot... I mean, they insisted on coming with me. But why are Kaito and Hakuba here too?”

Nakamori answered,
“As I said, they insisted on coming... Anyway, let’s go and see what we’ve discovered...”

They entered an office and found Megure and Heiji already there.

Kogoro asked,
“Who are Heiji and Inspector Megure? What are you doing here?”

Megure replied,
“We have a problem, and you don’t want us here?”

Kogoro said,
“Ah, that’s not what I meant…”

Conan then noticed a picture of a man on the table and asked,
“Who is this person, sir?”

Inspector Megure responded,
“That is the minister, ‘Keichi Marawa.’ We suspect he is the next target for murder.”

Everyone was puzzled by Megure’s anger, except Kaito, who seemed to know about the case.

Kogoro asked,
“Why, sir? What happened in that case?”

Megure replied,
“Don’t worry about it... The important thing is, tomorrow we’re going to Keichi Marawa’s house to confirm things…”

As Megure walked off, Kogoro said,
“Why did the Inspector get so nervous when we asked about that case?”

Conan thought to himself,
“I feel like the key to this case lies in the ‘Kataro Morizaki’ story... But how will I uncover the truth?”

Kogoro said,
“I wonder what happened in that case?”

Kaito said,
“I know what happened in that case...”

Everyone looked at Kaito in surprise.

Kogoro asked,
“How do you know about it, you smart guy?”

Kaito replied,
“Ah, don’t worry about that... Anyway, listen to me carefully...”

They all sat down to listen.

Kaito, holding a file, said,
“Fifteen years ago, a detective named ‘Kataro Morizaki’ was killed with a knife in his house. Many files he had on cases went missing for unknown reasons. It was said that Minister Keichi Marawa had accused Kataro of being a criminal and even tried to kill him to take his place in the government. Kataro’s children claimed their father was a good man and was killed unjustly because of his work as a detective. Some people say Kataro discovered something dangerous about Keichi, which led to his murder. The police were forced to close the case, and they wrote it off as a suicide…”

Conan said,
“So that’s why Inspector Megure was acting strangely...”

Kogoro asked,
“But what does this have to do with the current case?”

Hakuba answered,
“Don’t you get it? Keichi Marawa is the next victim of the killer because of what he did...”

Kogoro said,
“But we couldn’t protect the Chief of Police, even with all his security. How can we protect the minister?”

Kogoro replied with confidence,
“Don’t worry... I’m the famous detective Kogoro, and with my extraordinary intelligence, I’ll save everyone as always!” (He laughed his famous laugh 😹)

Everyone looked at him in shock.

Kaito thought to himself,
“Yeah, and the best proof is that the killer once hit you on the head, remember? 😹✨”

Kogoro said,
“And also, Ran, Conan, Kaito, and Hakuba won’t be coming with us.”

Ran asked,
“Why not?”

Kogoro explained,
“You were once kidnapped, and Conan almost faced the killer alone and almost got hurt. So this time, I’m not taking you with me.”

Kaito protested,
“Why can’t I come?”

Kogoro replied,
“The same reason as Conan, and you wouldn’t be helpful anyway. It’s better that you don’t come.”

Kaito thought to himself,
“No help? Well, you’ll see what I’ll do, and I’ll come with you. I know someone who will help me.” ☺️✨

Hakuba asked,

Kogoro replied,

Nakamori said to Kogoro
“I don’t think this mission will be easy...”

Kogoro replied, full of confidence,
“Don’t worry Nakamori. The famous detective will be with you, and he’ll catch the criminal!” (He laughed again 🙂✨)

Nakamori thought to himself,
“What’s wrong with this guy? 🙂 Every minute, he laughs with that creepy laugh. 😑💢”

Ran gasped in shock and fear,
“K-Kaito Kid?!”

Kaito Kid smiled,
“Don’t be afraid, Ran. I’m not a criminal... Wait, did you think I was a criminal?” 🤡

Ran replied,
“Are you saying you’re not a criminal? 🤡 If not you, then who’s the killer?”

Kaito Kid smirked,
“If I were the killer, I’d have already gotten rid of you to avoid all this noise.”

Ran said,
“Try it, and I’ll scream loud enough for all of Japan to hear.”

Kaito thought to himself,
“I know that all too well. 🙂💔”

Ran crossed her arms,
“Alright, what do you want?”

Kaito Kid responded,
“Well, it’s a long story…”

Ran interrupted,
“Make it short.” 😑

Kaito Kid shrugged,
“Fine. A little birdie told me that Detective Kogoro plans to visit the minister’s house tomorrow, and he refused to take you along. So, how about we team up, and I’ll take you there instead?” 😊💕

Ran raised an eyebrow,
“A little birdie? Couldn’t you come up with a better excuse? 🤡 What’s in it for you if I go with you?”

Kaito sighed,
“Look, you know I’m not a killer, but everyone else thinks I am. 🙂💔 After what happened to the Chief of Police, I’m sure they’ll put my head on the chopping block next. 🙂💔💔 I can’t go there alone, but you, as the daughter of the famous Detective kogoro, can. Together, we might find evidence to prove my innocence and reveal the truth. You understand me, right?”

Ran hesitated, then said,
“Fine, I’ll help you. But if the police find out, we’re both doomed. 🙂💔 And if that happens, I’ll tell them you’re the killer.” 💢

Kaito grinned,
“If we’re going down, we’ll go down together.” 🙂✨

Ran thought to herself,
“And he says that with so much confidence…” 🙂💢

She turned to him again,
“Kaito Kid?”

He replied,
“Yes?”

Ran asked,
“Why are you a thief?”

Kaito looked at her, puzzled,
“What?”

Ran explained,
“You’re a good person, Kaito. You’ve saved our lives many times—for instance, at that Russian castle and that time in the amusement park You’ve always shown up at the right moment. But why do you help us if you are a thief?”

Kaito thought to himself:
"Why is everyone suddenly interested in my life story? 🤡 First Ladybug and Chat Noir, then Conan, and I was about to reveal the truth to Inspector Nakamori, and now Ran...🙂"

Ran noticed Kaito's silence and said to him:
"Sorry... I didn't know this question would upset you... I was just curious about the reason..."

Kaito replied:

Haibara turned off the TV and said:
