( Hey eyeball, Deuce here. I have a serious situation, I think I have a crush on Clawdeen, and I don’t know what to do.)
“ Great job at casketball practice today, Deuce, although Gluttony almost swallowed the ball’ Clawdeen retorted, as she smiled at the gorgon. “ T- Thanks, CD. Or is it the CD the wereruler now?’ Deuce teased, as the wolf playfully hit his shoulder. “ Just CD is fine, I never realized how much pressure comes with being a were- ruler’ Clawdeen replied. “ Don’t worry, you’ll be amazing, I’m counting on it’ Deuce softly replied, as he placed a hand on her shoulder and they both blushed. “ Y’know what, I just realized I’d help Frankie pick an outfit for her date with Cleo. See you later, Gluttony- I mean, Deuce’ Clawdeen nervously replied, as she ran off. “ What was that about?’ Deuce muttered, as he noticed how he got a warm feeling whenever he saw Clawdeen. Was this how Mom- Dusa felt when she was around Mama Lyra? “ Hey, dude, you want to join me and Heath for some swimming?’ Clawd asked. “ U- Uh, s- sure’ Deuce stammered, maybe swimming would get his mind off the she- wolf.
“ Then I promised Cleo I’d get her some new toys for Hissette after our date, and Watzit, if he doesn’t spark it’ Frankie replied. “ Cool. He does love a good dog toy’ Clawdeen replied. “ You ok, C? You seem jumpier than usual’ Frankie replied. “ Y- Yeah, I’m cool, I’m chill’ Clawdeen replied, as Frankie raised an eyebrow. “ Fine, I had a little moment with Deuce earlier, and now I think I’m falling for him. What do I do?’ Clawdeen replied.

“ I had a little moment with Deuce earlier, and now I think I’m falling for him’ Clawdeen replied. “ I knew it! Oh, you have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this’ Frankie squealed. “ For what?’ Clawdeen asked. “ For you to fall in love with Deuce. You two would be good for each other, and it’s obvious there’s chemistry between you’ Draculaura replied, as Clawdeen sighed, realizing her friends were right. She did feel a sense of comfort and warmth whenever she was around the gorgon, and how he always had the ability to make her laugh and was the first one to lift her spirits. “ So, what do I do now? Do I tell him I have feelings for him? Do I write him a love letter? Or then his snakes will get-‘ Clawdeen began. “ Claw, relax, ghoul. Just be yourself, let him be the one to come to you, it worked for me and Clawd’ Draculaura replied. “ Maybe you’re right. But what about Medusa and Lyra if things do work out for us?’ Clawdeen asked. “ Don’t worry, I’m sure Deuce will defend you’ Draculaura replied, as Frankie nodded in agreement. “ I hope so. But I’ll take your advice, I’ll let him come to me’ Clawdeen replied.
“ So, have any girls caught your attention lately, my snake dude?’ Clawd asked. “ Uh..’ Deuce nervously replied, as he scratched the back of his head. “ Don’t tell him you’re crushing on his sister’ Pride whispered. “ What did Pride just say?’ Clawd replied. “ Uh, nothing! See you, Clawd’ Deuce replied. “ You have a crush on my sister?’ Clawd cried, as he ran after him.

“ Well, well, if it isn’t the wereruler’ Romulus replied, in a stoic tone, as the wolf groaned. While she and Romulus were on amicable terms, she still couldn’t stand the male wolf. “ What do you want, Romulus?’ Clawdeen asked. “ Well, a little birdie told me you have a crush on Deuce, and that isn’t acceptable’ Romulus replied. “ Why not? Deuce hasn’t done anything to you’ Clawdeen asked, confused. “ Because he’s a gorgon, you’re a werewolf. Gorgons are dangerous, and so are-‘ Romulus replied. “ Deuce isn’t dangerous, he’s not like most gorgons. He’s sweet, kind, funny-‘ Clawdeen replied, as the male wolf cackled. “ Aw, this makes me sick, but here’s what gonna happen. You’re not gonna be with Deuce, and you’re gonna still be in the pack. Understand?’ Romulus snarled. “ And if she doesn’t? How dare you talk to my sister like that, she can be in love with whoever she wants, even if it’s a gorgon’ Howleen replied. “ B- But h- he-‘ Romulus stammered. “ He what? I think we’re done here, Romulus. Come on, sis’ Howleen replied, as she dragged him off. “ Oh, this isn’t over’ Romulus murmured.
“ You know if this was anyone else who had a crush on my sister, they’d be dead right now, but you’re one of my best friends, so you’re good’ Clawd replied. “ Is that why you’ve been pacing the floor for 10 minutes?’ Pride retorted. “ Pride, shhh. Look, Clawd, I wanted to tell you sooner, but-‘ Deuce began. “ No worries, dude. But for the record, how long have you liked Claw?’ Clawd asked. “ Honestly? Since she first came to Monster High, I was amazed by and in awe of her, but I was too shy to tell her, and because I didn’t know if she would feel the same way’ Deuce replied. “ Wow. Then what are you waiting for? Tell-‘ Clawd replied, as the door swung open. “ Can I help you, Romulus? I was in the middle of a-‘ Clawd began. “ I’m not here for you, I’m here for Deuce. Come on, Gorgon’ Romulus replied. “ Grab my arm again and watch what happens. What is this about anyway?’ Deuce asked. “ About your little crush on Clawdeen’ Romulus hissed.

“ Y’know, I’ve never had any problems with you, Romulus, I’ve stayed out of your way. And I certainly don’t want any now, so why don’t you let me go and we forget any of this ever happened?’ Deuce asked, as the wolf dragged him to the courtyard. “ No, but see, now we do have a problem, and it has to do with a certain she- wolf’ Romulus replied. “ Why is it any of your business if Clawdeen and I are in love? You two weren’t exactly friends last time I checked, so I don’t see h-‘ Deuce began replied, as Romulus growled. “ Because, you’re a gorgon, and she’s a werewolf. You’re a dangerous monster, and she has a legacy to uphold, so if you really cared about her, you’d let her go’ Romulus hissed, as Deuce scoffed. “ Well, that’s a shame for you then, because you don’t tell me what to do last time I checked. Everyone else may bow down to you, but I don’t. I have no intention of not being with Clawdeen, I want to be with her because I think we make each other happy, and I don’t care what others say about us’ Deuce firmly replied. “ How touching, bleh. But what about your mother? Surely she won’t-‘ Romulus began. “ She won’t have to worry about my mothers because I will defend her, and they will come around’ Deuce hissed. “ What’s your game, Gorgon? Surely you have something up-‘ Romulus growled. “ Rom! What do you think you’re doing? You want Bloodgood to see us? Come on. Sorry, Deuce’ Barkimedes replied, as he dragged the wolf away. “ You ok, dude? Romulus didn’t hurt you, did he?’ Clawd asked. “ Nah, I handled it. I need to go find your sister’ Deuce replied. “ She’s in her room’ Clawd replied, as he marched off.
(Later that night.)
As Clawdeen was sitting in her bed, she heard a knock on the door. “ Frankie, you don’t have to knock, this is your room t- Deuce, hey. I was about to come find you, actually. What are you doing here?’ Clawdeen asked. “ I uh, I came to see you’ Deuce replied. “ Is everything ok? Look, if this is about us, I-‘ Clawdeen replied. “ Yeah, but there’s also something I’ve been wanting to do for a while’ Deuce replied, as he moved closer to her. “ What?’ Clawdeen asked. “ This’ Deuce softly replied, as he gently put a hand on her face and pulled her in for a long- awaited and soft kiss. “ I want to be your boyfriend’ Deuce murmured.

“ Deuce..’ Clawdeen murmured, as the gorgon was still kissing her, she was hesitant to kiss him back. “ Come on, I know you have feelings for me too, Claw’ Deuce murmured, as he softly petted the fur on her head. “ Of course I do, Deuce. I’ve had feelings for you since the day I met you’ Clawdeen softly replied, as he finally pulled away, his lips were swollen. “ Then why can’t we be together? Is this about Romulus?’ Deuce asked. No answer. “ It is, isn’t it? Claw, look at me. I promise, I won’t let Romulus or anyone else come between us. I’ll protect you’ Deuce replied. “ You promise?’ Clawdeen softly asked. “ Yeah’ Deuce softly replied. “ Well, then in that case, c’mere’ Clawdeen murmured, as they were about to lean in for another kiss when the door swung open. “ Oh my god, you guys are finally a couple! Wait, was I interrupting something?’ Draculaura asked. “ No, you-‘ Clawdeen began. “ Yes’ Deuce murmured, as the wolf giggled. “ Deuce was just leaving, so you weren’t’ Clawdeen replied, as she began pushing him towards the door. “ But I thought we could cuddle’ Deuce pouted. “ I know, but Drac’s here, I don’t want to do it in front of her’ Clawdeen whispered. “ Fine. Oh, why don’t you sneak in my room later before curfew? Clawd will probably be with Drac, and Manny’s home for the weekend, and no one will see us’ Deuce pleaded. “ Fine. But lock your door! I don’t need my brother walking in on us’ Clawdeen replied, as she closed the door and walked off. “ So we shouldn’t wait up for you then?’ Draculaura asked, as the wolf shook her head. “ Does this mean you’re gonna be the couple who can’t keep their hands off each other?’ Draculaura asked. “ Maybe… But you have no room to talk, do you know how many times I’ve walked in on you and Clawd?’ Clawdeen asked. “ Touché’ Draculaura replied.

“ I hope Hissette likes her new toys’ Cleo replied. “ I hope Watzie does too. He’s never had a squeaky toy before’ Frankie replied. “ I’m sure he’ll love it, like I love you’ Cleo replied. “ You what?’ Frankie asked. “ I love you, Frankie Stein’ Cleo repeated.

“ You what?’ Frankie asked, as the dog toy fell from her hand. “ I love you, Frankie’ Cleo softly replied. “ Cool. See ya back at school’ Frankie replied, as she walked off. “ That was weird’ Cleo muttered.
“ So are you sure your parents will like me? I mean, considering what type of monster am I?’ Deuce nervously asked. “ Don’t worry, Deuce, they’re gonna love you, my gorgon. Just as long as you like football, you’ll be fine’ Clawdeen replied. “ Oh, football’s one of my favorite sports next to casketball’ Deuce answered, as they walked towards the front door. “ Where’s Clawd?’ Deuce asked. “ Oh, he’s with Draculaura, he usually comes home on the weekend’ Clawdeen answered, as she rang the doorbell. “ Don’t worry’ Clawdeen whispered, as she rubbed his hand. “ Baby cub! You’re home, it’s so good to see- And who’s this handsome young man?’ Selena asked. “ Uh, Mom, this is my boyfriend, Deuce. Deuce, this is my mother’ Clawdeen replied.” Nice to meet you, Mrs. Wolf’ Deuce greeted. “ You too, Deuce. Come in, come in. Now, does your father know about him or no?’ Selena asked. “ Uh, no, not yet’ Clawdeen replied. “ Apollo! Clawdeen’s home, and she brought a friend with her!’ Selena called. “ As long as it’s not a boy. How are you, my little cub- Who’s this?’ Apollo asked, as Deuce froze. “ Dad, please don’t hurt him, but this is my boyfriend, Deuce. Deuce, this is my father’ Clawdeen replied. “ N- Nice to m- meet you, s- sir’ Deuce stammered. “ You too. So, what are your intentions with my daughter, Deuce?’ Apollo asked. “ Apollo!’ Selena scolded. “ It’s fine, Mrs. Wolf. I have no bad intentions for your daughter, I care about her very much, and I would never hurt her or put her in harm’s way, I promise’ Deuce assured. “ I see that. Now, do you like football?’ Apollo asked. “ I love football’ Deuce answered, as they walked off. “ So, how long have you and Deuce been together, my cub?’ Selena asked. “ For a few weeks now, but he’s amazing, Mom. He’s sweet, he’s kind, he’s funny, and he’s a great kisser’ Clawdeen dreamily replied, as Selena smiled. “ What?’ Clawdeen asked. “ Well, I do believe you’ve been bitten by the love bug. I used to talk the same way about your father before I realized I loved him’ Selena replied. “ Maybe I do love him’ Clawdeen murmured.

“ Frankie! Frankie, there you are. Why did you run away from me?’ Cleo asked. “ I’m sorry, Cleo. It’s just, nobody’s ever told me they love me other then my parents, because I thought for the longest time, I was unlovable’ Frankie softly replied, as a tear rolled down her cheek. “ Oh, Frankie… You are not unlovable here, you have so many people here who love you, especially me’ Cleo softly replied. “ I love you, Cleo’ Frankie murmured. “ I love you too’ Cleo murmured, as they softly kissed.

“ I’m nervous, Deuce. What if your moms don’t like me because I’m a wolf?’ Clawdeen asked, as she worriedly glanced at her boyfriend. “ Claws, don’t worry, they’re gonna love you. I- Oh, Mom- Dusa just texted, they’re almost here’ Deuce replied, as the wolf pondered something for a sec. Was he about to tell her he loved her? “ Deuce!’ Lyra called. “ Over here, Mama Lyra!’ Deuce called. “ Oh, there’s our precious little gorgon. Why is your snake- hair messy?’ Medusa asked. “ Mom- Dusa, stop’ Deuce gritted. “ Oh, this must be your girlfriend. I’m Medusa, and this is my wife, Lyra. And you must be Clawdeen’ Medusa replied. “ Nice to meet you, Mrs. Gorgon. Deuce has told me all about the two of you, and I’ve never met a siren before’ Clawdeen replied. “ They are very ancient monsters, and Deuce has told us all about you two as well. So, tell us. How did you two meet?’ Lyra asked. “ Uh, we met when I first came to Monster High, and I fell for him right away. He was sweet and kind, and we just instantly clicked, then he asked me to be his girlfriend a week later’ Clawdeen replied. “ Aw, that sounds so romantic. Deuce, I like her a lot better then your last girlfriend’ Medusa replied. “ Dusa..’ Lyra warned, as she placed a hand on her wife’s shoulder. “ What? Deuce knows it. She never treated him like her boyfriend, she treated him like a servant. At least Clawdeen knows how to treat him’ Medusa replied. “ So, I take it you and Cleo didn’t get along?’ Clawdeen asked, as Deuce shook his head. “ Nope, not at all. That’s why I never brought her-‘ Deuce replied. “ Well, well. What do we have here?’ Romulus hissed, as he crossed his arms and glared at the couple.
“ But when are you gonna be back from your date, Clawd? I’m lonely, and Claw’s still on her date with Deuce’ Howleen whined. “ Fine, I’ll find someone to hang out with’ Howleen sighed, as she hang up the phone and groaned. Why did both her siblings have to be on dates tonight? “ You ok?’ Barkimedes asked. “ Yeah, I’m fine, and I don’t feel like talking about it with someone who’s friends with my enemy’ Howleen replied. “ Howleen, wait. Romulus and I aren’t friends anymore, not after what he did to your sister and Deuce, and he kicked me out of the pack’ Barkmeides softly replied. “ Really?’ Howleen asked, as the male wolf needed. “ Then I could use your company. Want to go look at the moon?’ Howleen asked. “ Sure. I know a great place where we can look’ Barkimedes replied, as he led her away.

“ You really scratched him on the cheek?’ Howleen asked, as she and Barkimedes were sitting on the grass, looking up at the moon. “ Yeah, I tried putting up with Rom’s behavior, but I couldn’t anymore, and we got into this huge fight’ Barkimedes replied. “ I’m really sorry, Bark. I know Romulus was your best friend’ Howleen replied. “ Yeah, a best friend that I tolerated, but I have other friends besides him, and now I have you’ Barkimedes replied.” Yeah, you do’ Howleen replied, as she realized how close their lips were to each other.
“ Your moms were amazing, and why didn’t you ever tell me one of them was a fashion designer?’ Clawdeen asked, as she and Deuce were cuddling on her bed. “ Uh.. It slipped my mind, honestly. I have modeled some of her outfits, though’ Deuce answered. “ And I bet you look super handsome. It has always been my dream to be a fashion designer one day, either in Scaris or Boo York’ Clawdeen replied. “ Well, you’d be an amazing one, I know it. And wherever you decide to go, I’ll follow you’ Deuce softly replied. “ Deuce, I can’t ask you to do that, babe. What about your dreams?’ Clawdeen asked. “ My only dream right now is being with you, I’m sure Scaris has casketball teams and I can be your model, and we can live in a nice little studio apartment, or whatever you want’ Deuce answered. “ What are you saying?’ Clawdeen asked. “ I’m saying, when the wolf you love asks you if you want to go to Scaris with her, your answer is yes’ Deuce softly replied, as she grabbed him by his collar to pull him in for a heated and loving kiss. “ I love you, Deuce Gorgon’ Clawdeen murmured. “ I love you too, Clawdeen Wolf’ Deuce murmured. “ Claw, can I borrow your- Oh, you look a little busy, I’ll come back later’ Draculaura replied. “ No, it’s ok, I was just leaving, I forgot I have a clawstronomy paper due tomorrow. I’ll text you before I go to bed, my wolf’ Deuce murmured. “ Looking forward to it, my gorgon’ Clawdeen murmured, as Deuce kissed her cheek before he slipped out of the room. “ Ok, were you two about to have s*ex before I walked in? Is that why you have a huge smile on your face? Clawd and I have already reached-‘ Draculaura replied. “ Okay, first of all, I don’t need to hear about you and my brother’s s*ex life, thank you very much, and second of all, it looks like Deuce and I are gonna move to Scaris after high school/college’ Clawdeen replied. “ Oh, that’s always been your dream, Claw! And now you get to experience it with your boyfriend’ Draculaura replied. “ I know. I can’t wait, Drac’ Clawdeen squealed.

“ Yeah, you do’ Howleen replied, as she leaned towards him and they softly kissed, they pulled away after a few minutes. “ Howleen… D- Did we just k- kiss?’ Barkmeides asked, as he scratched the back of his fur. “ Yeah. Bark, I’m sorry if we overstepped, I-‘ Howleen began, as the male wolf pressed his lips to hers. “ I didn’t mind it all’ Barkmeides murmured, as they heard howling coming from the casketball court. “ Was that Romulus?’ Barkmeides asked. “ No, no, it’s just my brother. He and Deuce are playing casketball. Now, where we?’ Howleen answered, as their lips reconnected.
“ Nice shot, dude. I can’t even shoot that high’ Deuce answered. “ Well, it’s not my fault I’m a better player then you’ Clawd cockily replied. “ Don’t get cocky, I’m still a good player. Bet, I can make this shot higher then you’ Deuce replied, as he shot the ball and almost missed the hoop. “ Still think you’re a better player then I am?’ Clawd smirked. “ Yes. Get me another ball, I’ll prove it to you’ Deuce answered. “ Whatever you say’ Clawd answered, as he tossed the gorgon another ball.
“ Why does clawculus have to be so hard? Eyeball, help me out here’ Toralei groaned. “ You’re a werecreature, you should be able to figure it out yourself’ Catarina hissed, as Toralei froze. “ Mom? Y- You’re supposed to be g- gone. If this is a dream, I need to wake up. Someone help me!’ Toralei cried.
