    After meeting a terrible fate, a young woman by the name of Mitoko Hitori ends up involved in what is known as the "After-Death Tournament", a game created by the gods to determine who deserves a chance to reincarnate back in the real world. The catch? Only one person is allowed to leave.

    And another person, the enigmatic Android 21, also wants that chance despite not being originally human.
