   Summary

   It was supposed to be a simple goal. Stay in the Commonwealth long enough to break into Med-Tek Research to get the cure for his son, and then leave on the next caravan out of the Commonwealth.

   However, becoming a top marksman for the Gunners and nearly getting torn to shreds by a pack of feral ghouls wasn't exactly a part of the plan.

   Now, after cutting himself loose from the Gunners, MacCready decides to work freelance, when a radio transmission from the Brotherhood points him in a new direction

   AU where MacCready ends up staying with the Gunners longer than he initially planned.
