Work Text:

In a room full of hundreds of people, grey eyes met brown. He wasn’t sure how he missed her presence - there wouldn’t be a single possibility that he would have merely looked over her.

A satin blue dress draped over her body, cascading down her torso and legs like running water. With mahogany hair drawn up into a curled updo - strands framing her face, bringing the softness of her features to the forefront.

Despite her less fortunate upbringing, the woman in the blue satin fit so perfectly in the room of aristocrats.

The man noted, affectionately so, that even if he weren’t wearing his glasses, he’d know that she was the most beautiful woman in the room.

As their eyes locked on each other’s, she took a sip of wine before returning her attention back to the group of men wishing to speak to her.

His stomach coiled, seeing her speak to those men. They leaned into her, becoming far too close for friendly discussion about Japan’s laws and protocols.

Her eyes darted back to his. Lips curled around her glass, as the edges rose in a subtle smirk.

Taking a deep breath, he returned her same smug expression. Tearing his grey eyes from hers, he reverted his focus back to the group in front of him. Thinking in the back of his mind how lucky those men may think they are, not knowing that he’d be holding all of her attention by the end of the night.

Hours passed. Stolen glances. Smirks. Winks. It was a mystery how no one in the room caught on to their silent teasing.

Growing weary of the teasing, the man with the grey eyes spoke his goodbyes to his business partners - claiming to have an early morning ahead of him. Without looking at the woman in the blue satin, he weaved his way from the crowd and towards the halls of the hotel.

It was only by sheer luck that he had decided to get a room.

Making his way around the corridors, he finally made his way back to his room. He didn’t bother to look back to see if the woman would follow him - he already knew the answer.

Moments later she was knocking at his door.

He opened it without delay. His arm wrapped around her waist , pulling her to his body and connecting their lips. He kissed her with the same passion that had built steadily throughout the night.

He threw his glasses to the side as she loosened the tie around his neck.

They knew each other’s bodies like their own. Years of practice led them to move with a fluidity and ferocity of passion. Marks against skin, lipstick marks on his shirt, and subtle moans of pleasure. Everything had been rehearsed before…they had become each other’s favorite lover.

Discarded clothing. Skin on skin. Everything done without speaking…they didn’t need to disrupt their stolen time with loving words. They would have time for that eventually.

Long ago, when her heart was broken, they had made a deal. No strings attached. A physical arrangement that was hidden from the world. As the years passed, he found himself wishing for more.

It was a known fact that their respective worlds would be destroyed if they took that step…so they rejoiced in these stolen moments - where their bodies only belong to each other.

When they were finished, he had secretly hoped for her to stay. Though he knew her rule. She peppered a slight kiss against his lips before leaving the bed.

“Be with me,” the first words they had spoken to each other tonight.

She clasped the last strap upon her heel and shared a parting glance with him. “Someday,” she whispered before leaving the room.

He rested his head against a pillow - his body now completely exposed to the world. She was the only one to render him so vulnerable. Only she had the ability to strip his power away and push him to his knees begging for more.

If only she knew the control she had over him.

It was in that fleeting moment of watching her leave that he vowed that one day, the woman in the blue satin would one day be his, even if he had to riskeverything.

Notes:

Hey guys! I’ve been thinking about this little one shot for a couple of days now. I was listening to a song and thought about a situation where Haruhi had all the power. Let me know if you guys want a few more of these little one shots!
