Giyuu stared out of the room and into the nature scene in front of him. This was peace, peace he hadn't felt in so long. Being a Hashira took its toll on everyone, but for right now, he couldn't seem to get the hang of it since Nezuko came around.

The thought that a demon could be good, and have a thought against Muzan, somehow made it harder for the water user to kill them now. He was going soft, as some of the Hashiras would say. He wasn't going to deny it, especially now.

Laying on the floor, looking out into the light blue skies with the birds chirping, he had a demon behind him. He felt it's claws in his hair, rubbing it softly and humming in a low tone so no one would hear. The smell of his blood was strong, seeing as it was everywhere in this small sheltered hut.

Giyuu could blame his willingness and calm demeanor on the blood art of this demon, but he didn't. He wanted to be there, he had been there for a long time. His mission was cut short, seeing as the demon he was supposed to be hunting was already slayed, by the sun no less—he had time before he needed to head back.

So he continued to lay there, breathing softly, allowing this demons claws to scratch his head and putting trust in said demon to keep him relaxed. The sun started to go down, signaling for the demon to start coming more into the light. Giyuu heard him hum something under his breath as he took his fingers away from the raven hairs head.

"Isn't the moon beautiful, Giyuu?"

The Hashira hummed and slowly sat up, looking at the small half moon that was slowly rising to the sky. The demon chucked lowly and sat on his knees, staring at the moon with such a glimmer in his eyes. Giyuu looked at him and huffed.

"Going out, are you?"

The demon rolled his eyes and shook his head, putting a hand on the Hashiras cheek, allowing for his finger to softly caress. Giyuu hated that he wanted to lean into the touch, but there was no doubt he wanted to. The demon grinned, his pointy teeth coming out slightly.

"No, in fact, I think we should both stay here."

Giyuu squinted his eyes at him suspiciously, something about this proposal seemed strange. The demon smirked and leaned forward, pressing a kiss to the demon slayers exposed forehead.

"Calm down—all I meant is that tonight is the last night you'll be here, riiiiiight?"

The sudden childness in the demons voice was unsettling, but it was something Giyuu was used to now. The Hashira nodded and hummed, he honestly had forgotten that he was due to leave tomorrow, soon enough he'd have to face his fellow Hashiras with some shame.

Now wasn't the time for that however, now was the time for any type of relaxing he could get. The demon smiled, getting the signal that the slayer in front of him was agreeing to the 'night in' plan.

"I could make you something to chow down on~ Allow me to put my human cooking to the test~"

Giyuu couldn't help but smile a little at the sight of the demons eyes lighting up. One would think Nezuko was the only one, but maybe there was more demons who regained their human sides out there...hopefully.
