“And the last marshmallow goes to…” Chris begins.
Julia knows it's between her and MK. She knew it was most likely going to be MK, because she had told everyone that they had made a pact to not badmouth each other.
She was sure MK had badmouthed her although they made a deal to not. She knew her too well.
“Julia!” Chris threw her a marshmallow.
Julias heart sank, although she was expecting this. It had to happen.
She sighed, out of sadness but also relief of not leaving.
“What?” MK said, pretty shocked. “This rots.”
She whipped her head to Julia. “How did you do it? I made up so many horrible things about you! Man, the stuff you told them about me must've been suuuper awful.”
Julia explained what she did, and MK took it fine. She knew she would be fine with it.
It felt great to find someone who didn't immediately hate her from her mean personality.
She wished MK didn't have to leave, she's never felt so close to someone this much. She just wanted to spend all her time with her.
Chris took MK to the dock of shame, but something snapped in Julia and she ran over there. She couldn't keep it in forever, it hurt.
“Uh you're not mad at me, are you?” Julia asked, worried but trying to not look like it, which she totally failed at considering she kept her arms behind her back and shifted her legs together.
“You're an evil backstabbing monster! Of course I'm not mad at youuuu!” MK exclaimed.
Julia's face turned calmer. “Awww! You're awful too!” “Game recognizes game, now go win that million bucks!”
Something about MK seemed so pretty in the dark, maybe her hair or her lips, but she seemed so kissable.
“MK, I have to tell-” She realized the drone started coming in the distance. She didn't have much time.
“MK, I have a-” “I like you!” MK blurted out before Julia could finish.
“I don't mean to go soft, it's just.. you're so cool and fun to hang out with and I figured now would be the right time to say how I feel because I know we are just an alliance and not anything more and I-”
MK cut short when Julia leaned closer and kissed her. She couldn't believe their lips were locked, but she closed her eyes and kept it that way.
It felt perfect, although they were having their first kiss at a crappy summer camp while Chris and Chef were watching them, nothing could've made it better.
The drone grabbed MK and cut their kiss short. “Oh god, I'm so sorry I didn't mean-” Julia began, her face turning red.
“Go win the million, Jules!” MK exclaimed, while being carried away.
Julia couldn't even respond, she was filled with so much shock of what just happened.
All she could do was wave, almost with tears in her eyes.
She couldn't believe how soft MK was making her. She smiled to herself as she was walking back to her cabin, realizing that she will win both the million and her dream girl.
