He remembers.

He remembers the scalpel, the wall, the blood.

He remembers the body, the laugh, the voice.

He remembers what followed: the scarf, the coat, the guns, the wounds, the bandages.

He remembers the blood. All that blood.

He remembers doing the same.

He remembers screaming.

He remembers the kids, the explosion, the fight and his last words.

He sees the scars and he remembers.

He sees the hands of a monster.

He sees what he created.

He misses.

He misses that night.

He misses his face, his words, his glare.

He misses the screams, his screams.

He misses the violence, the fear, the adrenaline.

He does the same.

He hates it.

He hates him.

He hates

Chapter 3: She dreams

Chapter Text

She dreams.

She dreams about a monster, two bodies, an order, death.

She dreams about a phone, a cage, a black coat.

She dreams about the lives she has taken.

She dreams about those 35 people.

She dreams about a mission, a train, a bomb, a tiger, a river.

She dreams about suicide.

She dreams about that smile, those words.

She wakes up and she thinks.

She thinks about how she did it.

She broke the chain.
