Chapter 1 – ‘’To nice to be a new yorker’’

Ravi Ross

It was a nice, cozy, warm day of summer and Mrs. Kipling almost begged in her grunts and grows for a trip to the Central Park, it has been a busy week for everyone in the house, especially to Ravi, filled with tons of exams e the election of the reptile's club, he admits that he neglected his pet a little and it made him worried about her health. He put the 7'' foot Asian Water Monitor in her leash and walked with her till the destination, stopping in the lobby to say hi to the new doorman, he might admit, he missed Tony, but he probably was happier with Jessie in Los Angeles, he though.

The park was a little bit full and too many people made Mrs. Kipling a little bit agitated, which made the people around her agitated, scared of being bitten by the poisonous lizard. He never gets why people are so scared of his pet; she was cute with her claws and poisonous spit. He certainly though she was cuter than a cat or a dog, like Zeus, the spoiled dog from Mrs. Chesterfield.

Ravi walked her calmly on their favorite's parts of the park scaring every other person that crossed they path when a cute smiley guy approached Ravi.

'' Oh my god, you have your own dinosaur! '' The cute guy was white, tall and slim. He had black medium full hair that waves in the ends. With his sweet almost innocent smile, Ravi tough he looked cute and goofy at the same time. '' My mom won't let me even have a fish! I’m Billy, by the way...

'' Mrs. Kipling is not a dinosaur; she is a very feminine and classy lady lizard. '' He answered politely, not scared to show his cute Indian accent that been fading with time. '' I’m Ravi, Ravi Ross, nice to meet you.

'' Nice to meet Ravi, can I pet her? '' Billy asked excited, like the goof ball he seemed, it was new to Ravi see someone wanting to pet his lizard, so he didn't know what to say, Kiplin has not very friendly towards people that are not family, so he thought it was better to deny.

'' I don’t think she will enjoy a stranger touching her, sorry. '' But like a traitor Mrs. Kipling entangled her tail with Billy’s leg like they were good friends, it remembered Ravi of that time when she enamored for Dez Wade but in the end, she only wanted the food in his pocket, but this time, Kipling seemed really to like him.

'' I think she likes me. '' Billy said smiling and petted her little, slow and careful. '' So, Ravi, you have a cute accent, where are you from? '' Ravi was not sure of what he thought of other guy calling him cute, but he took as a complement.

'' I'm from India'' He responded, and both sited in a bench close by. Ravi realized too slow that it was an opportunity to make a friend and it made him smile a little, that strange but '' You don’t seem from here nether, where are you from?

'' Well... I’m from Metroburg, but how do you know I'm not from here? ‘’

'' You are too nice to be a new yorker. '' Ravi said like it was obvious. '' How long will you be in New York? Maybe if you have time we can go to my house and we can play video game together. '' Ravi asks, almost pleading. He wanted so much bring a friend to home, to belong, just like his siblings.

'' I... Will be here for a few weeks... I’d love to, which kind of games do you like? '' Billy wants used to lie, he was, by heart, a simple innocent and golden hearted boy, but he couldn't just say that he used to travel around the world with his super speed and he would go back to Hiddenvile today. He wanted to become friends with the other boy, it was so difficult for him found someone that wanted to be his friend that were not family related and this boy had his own alligator for God's sake, he couldn't think of something cooler.

They started to talk about video games, and talked animatedly for what seemed about an hour, Ravi explained too Billy how to pass a mission in Grand Theft Auto IV and Billy gave Ravi tips in Fortnite they seemed to get along well, they even found out they both started to work very young for more money so can buy more video games.

'' So, you taught yoga in your builder for money? That’s cool. '' Ravi was not which part of its Billy thinks is cool, but he is flattered someone thinks he’s cool, he made a note of try teaching Billy how do yoga and meditate, he looks like the kind of guy that clears his thoughts easily.

'' I wish I had your idea of business; you have no idea of how money I would make if I took the blame of everything my siblings do wrong for money. '' Ravi says, but he knew he couldn't do it, he was a good two shoes, it was difficult enough be dragged to his siblings' scams without trying.

'' Yeah, I got a lot of money of my older brother Max that mouth, but my parents found out eventually...'' Billy remembered of getting in trouble for getting in trouble, his mom got so mad that grounded him for a mouth, but at least he kept the money. '' So... I think I need to go back... My parents probably worried with not knowing where I am.

Billy said it know was not usual for him be so away from home, normally he would be playing video games, or in his room doing nothing on TikTok with Nora and Chloe, as he has no friends outside his family it was very unusual for him stay so long outside. His original plans were to visit the Central Park, maybe get a bagel or a pretzel and chill, ‘til he saw a cute boy with a dinosaur and completely forget what he was going to do.

'' That’s fine, can we meet here again tomorrow? '' Ravi asked looking forward see the other boy again, he finally had a friend it was so exciting.

'' I’d love to, same place same hour? '' Proposed Billy.

'' It’s a deal.’’

Chapter 2 –’’I wont fall for that one’’

Billy Thunderman

Billy came back home happier than he left, he just met the cutest guy ever.

After a long battle with his plans was just chill away from his family, maybe eat a pretzel or bagel and get back, but he saw this excentric guy with an excentric pet and couldn't help himself and try to know more about him.

Ravi looked different from a normal teenager and Billy could see it, maybe was the fact he was not afraid to use sandals with socks or have a pet lizard, but he seems so entertaining, so fun to be close to.

Billy entered the house through the kitchen door and found most of the family watch tv in the living room, aside from Pheobe and Max that were studing in the Heroes University.

‘’Hey, son where have you been?’’ Barb asked without look away from the tv.

‘’You guys won't believe! I was in Central Park I found a new friend!’’

‘’What?’’ Nora got up from the sofa finally giving Billy some attention.

‘’Hey, I’m so excited, his name is Ravi, and he is from India.’’ he spoke smiling and saw the surprise in Nora’s face get washed completely.

‘’Really, Billy? You don’t need to lie like this to get attention.’’ She said, arms crossed, and knot-it-all look on her face.

‘’But I’m not lying’’ He voiced a little hurt because his sister didn't believe him.

‘’Really, Ravi from India? Just like Luigi Marinara from Italy? I won't fall for that one!’’ She shouted

‘’ But it’s true, he likes to play video games and have a giant pet lizard!”

‘’Billy aren't you too old to have imaginary friends?’’ His father voiced without stop looking the tv.

That’s it, all his family tough it was impossible to him to make friends, they don't believe him.

Damn, that hurts...

When Billy was born, it was easy to be the youngest son, He didn't know, but he was made only to be better than Max, a second chance for the “villain son disaster” and the universe gave to the Thundermans de most sweet, friendly, cheerful and optimistic son they could have. A son who's worth be son of the great Thunderman and the magnific Electress

When they were not looking to the two oldest kids, the twins that now were in college his parents were looking after the younger one, Chloe. Leaving Billy and Nora with almost no attention.

He goes to the room he shares with Nora a little bit sad; he is not the brightest, but even he noticed how low his family thought of him.

He lied down in the bad and scroll through TikTok for hours laughing at every cat video he saw till he remembers that he and Ravi sheared numbers.

‘’Hey’’ He texted hoping the other boy would know how he was.

‘’Billy?’’ The other boy sends and he kind of feels butterflies in his stomach just for the simple fact that he remembered him.

‘’Yeah, how did you know it was me?’’ Normally Billy would spell everything wrong being super-fast, having super-fast thoughts made difficult to him to spell right, but he saw how elaborate Ravi spoke and wanted to impress him.

‘’Well, you are the only person that would text me besides my parents’’ Ravi responded and completed. ‘’And I was kind of holping you would text me’’ and that made the butterflies in Billy’s stomach go crazy...

‘’How is Mrs. Kippling going?’’ He asked not knowing what to do.

‘’She is fine, look like she is very happy since our trip to the park, I think she really likes you’’ he written it with a little bit of jealous in his voice, but Billy didn’t notice.

‘’That’s nice. When I said to my family that I made a friend they don't believed me, can you believe it?’’ He could make friends with people that were not Nora or Chloe, he totally could.

‘’I totally get you, I didn’t tell my family, but I know they probably would make jokes or not believe nether.’’ Ravi didn’t knew why he kept his meet with Billy a secret, but he did, maybe he just didn’t want his siblings intromission.

‘’I don’t get why, you’re so cool’’ Billy writted

‘’Really, you think I’m cool?’’

‘’Dude, you have your own dinosaur, you are so good in games you passed that Louis mission in GTA4 and you are so smart it makes my head hurts’’ Billy answered as it was obvious,

‘’Again, Mrs. Kippling is a female lizard not a dinosaur, but thank you’’ Ravi responded.

‘’She probably can eat a human tho’’

‘’touchet’’ He says simply

Billy and Ravi texted for more than two hours about a lot of things, video games, music, how obsessed Ravi was with Selena Gomes, and how Billy loved K-pop and Taylor Swift.

Till it was time to sleep, and they had to stop.

Billy slept thinking about Ravi...

And it was the best sleep of his life.

Chapter Text

Chapter 3- “You look nice today”

Ravi Ross

Ravi was not stupid; he knew himself and he knew what a crush was, and he knew he definitely had a giant crush on Billy Thunderman.

Okay, he was not the brightest, but he was sweet, caring e saw coolness in him when no one else could, they’ve been talking for about a week, and he couldn't stop think about the other teenager, it was making him go crazy.

Ravi had no idea of how to deal with it, he was completely lost with his feelings

What if Billy don't feel the same way? What if he does? How would his family react?

He hated the conflict he has inside him, he is lost in his own dogma, he can’t admit he likes guys, it’s a part of him he fears, he always been. Morgan and Cristina choose him as their son, what if they hated him? The mistake in his birth certificate was something that haunts him even now days, what if his parents couldn't love this part of him?

They’ve been seen each other every day since they met, in the same place, the Central Park every day, after lunch he would go to the park an see the most shining smile he ever saw, and they would talk about anything and everything for hours till they had to go home, only to text till they had to sleep it was easy to say they become best friends really fast.

‘’So... you family really don't believe I'm real still?” Ravi asked curiously.

“No, they really don't think I can have friends that are not imaginary...’’ Billy said a little disappointed still.

‘’I totally get you, my family is so mean to me sometimes, when I first entered school, my brother told me to forget him, because I made him embarrassed.’’ He remembered sadly; Luke was so worried about his popularity sometimes he forgot the poor Ravi was only trying to survive high school just like him.

‘’That’s awful, they are always like this?” Billy asked worried.

“Sometimes, I’m the only one in the family who is not popular, they tend to pick on me a lot for it’’ Ravi admitted sadly

‘’God, the only siblings that fight a lot in my family are Pheobe and Max; me, Chloe and Nora are best friends to each other.’’ Billy explained, he couldn't think of how his life would be without the support of the two younger sisters, they were so important to him.

‘’Don’t get it wrong, Luke really is my best friend, and we get along most of time, but he can be a little bit...’’ He could not find the right word.

‘’Cruel?’’ He guessed

‘’Well, yeah...” Ravi admitted a little desolate.

“I’m sorry you feel like this.” Billy declared and continued “In my family normally, they use me in their schemes, and I only notice later or if my sister Nora tells me.”

‘’ Do they take advantage of your naivety then?” Ravi asks it feels bad notice how their families make them feels dislocated sometimes, but it felt nice to share and have someone to listen and understand without judgment.

“Something like this...” Billy spoke.

“Sorry, I know how it hurts when it feels you are not enough to your family as you own” Ravi says touching his arm lightly.

“It’s fine, that's not your fault” Billy responded.” Can I have a hug?”

“Sure” Ravi says hugging the other one and even if it felt weird hugging other boy Ravi felt a sense of belonging and calmness he never felt before, Billy really made he fell things...

He wished so much Jessie was there, he knew he could count on her to listen to him and not judge, he knew she could help him with these complicated feelings that shouldn't belong to him. It was ridiculous how much a seventeen-year-old teenager could miss his nanny.

The hug didn't last long, Ravi was a little scared someone he knew would see them, so he let the other boy go slowly

They start to talk about things they liked so the mood could light a little, it was crazy how much they could talk without see the time pass, spend time together was so easy, so natural.

They didn't even notice the group of kids that were nearby until one of them threw a frisbee and hit Billy in the forehead.

“Billy? Are you alright?” Ravi wondered loudly scared as he sees a little bit of blood in the small cut that formed in Billy’s forehead.

“Yeah, I think I’m fine.” He says even if he feels a little dizzy.

“Your head is bleeding a little, we should go see a doctor” He noted taking Billy by the hand.

“No. No doctors.” Billy knew that if they go to a doctor he will be discovered as a hero, he remembered the mess and how difficult was to clean the mess when he hurt his finger when he was a kid, his brother, Max almost was exposed.

Go to a doctor who was not one of the super doctors he normally goes is out of question.

“How many fingers do I have here?’’ Ravi tested putting three fingers in front the other boy face.

“Six?” He responds half asking.

“No, Billy I don’t have six fingers in a hand” he says as it was obvious. And obviously he was wrong letting Ravi even more preoccupated.

“Are you sure?”

“Well, obviously.”

“I’m just a little confused, maybe I should go back home.” He says trying to escape a trip to a regular doctor.

‘’Are you sure you can go all by yourself?” He asks worried, a million of intrusive thoughts going through his mind.

“I’ll be fine, don’t worry.” Billy declared and gave one of his shining smiles that gave a little bit of reassure to his heart “I need to go”

“Be careful "He plead as Billy gets up and start to go, but quickly he comes back and says

‘’Out of topic, but you look nice today. “He complemented smiling and then goes back to where he was going.

“Oh…T-thank you, haha.” Ravi says shyly as the other boy goes away.

Chapter Text

Chapter 4-” A secret between siblings”

Ravi Ross

Ravi was thrilled his first date with someone who likes him, who cares about him, who makes his heart skip a beat.

He remembers when he dated Connie Thompsom for two months, she only gave him a chance because Luke would not give her a chance and she even pretended not to remember him when it finished.

This time, his date liked him, and he actually felt cared and loved and special. He felt the butterflies in his stomach, that is a good sign, right?

He was in an impasse though, he never had to dress for a date before, he was not best when the subject is fashion, Billy complemented his way to dress sometimes, but he wanted this date to be special, so he knew what he had to do, he had to ask Emma for help.

He knocked the wooden door and waited patiently so the other girls open it.

“Emma, I need your help with clothes.” He says as the word clothes works like a turning key in the girl's brain making her more helpful.

“That’s fine Ravi, admit the problem is the first step to recover” she says with proud in her voice.

“I have a date tonight, and I don’t know how to dress...” He admits in low voice.

“Uuhhh, a new girl caught your eye?” She says excited for him. Ravi never had much success in love like Luke had, he was not naturally good flirting and rarely had interest in anyone.

“Not exactly, can I come in?” He asks uncomfortable to talk about it there, where other members of his family could listen and then his older sister lets him enter in her room.

The room is big, with white halls and a giant bed, the furniture had details of silver, gold and pink, it screamed “Emma” it also has a lot of sketches of clothes in her desk with a white and pink notebook.

“Ravi... Going out for a walk with Mrs. K is not considered a date, and it’s kind of weird if you think so.” Emma acknowledged.

“It’s not Mrs. K, I really have a date.” Ravi insisted sitting in Emma’s bed.

“Oh my god Ravi, congratulations, who is she? Tell me everything” Emma sited with him, eye on eye, excited like a fresh gossip appeared.

“Well, is not a ‘she’ Emma, his name is Billy...” Ravi admitted

“So, you’re telling me you’re gay? ”She practically screamed.

“I don’t know, I think bi would be more precise "He explained a little bit ashamed

“And you have a boyfriend already? That’s great Ravi I’m so proud of you.” Emma says, she would love Ravi don’t matter what. Looking now there’s so many things that make sense in Ravi’s personality that make sense now.

“Thank you, Emma, you are the first person I tell so could you please don’t tell anyone?”

“It’s a secret between siblings, and you don’t need to thank me”

“So, can you help me choose what to wear?”

“Always.”

Emma made some questions about where they were going and in which time, but Billy didn't tell him much, so Emma made the choices based in his eyes and in the colors of the season. Ravi thought he look good even if he was not used to use tennis.

He texted Billy that he was ready and gave him his address and seconds later the new door man announced the new visitor, Ravi still didn't get used to Billy’s super speed yet. He often forgets now he has a super-hero as a boyfriend.

Ravi goes downstairs followed by Emma, she wanted to know this new Ravi’s pretendent and he let her, she promised she wouldn't make him embarrassed. The door of the elevator opens reveling a shining smiling, Billy Thunderman.

Ravi sees his smile like the sun itself, it could make the whole room warmer and shiner, he loved that smile.

Billy dressed casually nice; his messy waves arranged in place, an orange coat and a thunder necklace. A baggy jean and a brown t-shirt, simple but pretty.

“You look nice...” Ravi whispers taking him by the hand entering the elevator as well

“You look better.” Billy says as Ravi clicks the T bottom and Emma screams “Behave you two” smiling proudly” Does she know?”

“Yeah, I told her so she could help me to dress nicely” Ravi admits making Billy’s smile even larger and asks” Where are we going?”

“Anywhere you want to go. With super-speed the sky is the limit...We can go to Greece, Japan, Italy, Paris...

“I was thinking off something more casual, comfortable and simple...’’

“Say no more. I know exactly where we should go.” Billy goes with Ravi to a desert alley near the building, helps him to ride on his back and the run super-fast to a place he knew too well. Ravi screamed the whole way, running in the speed of a thunder felt like a roller coaster but worse.

“Splatburguer?” When his feet finally step on land, and he could look where they were. It looked like a normal fast-food place.

“Yeah, me and my family used to come here a lot when we still lived in Hiddenvile. It’s not luxurious but I would love to have my first date here with you” Billy explains shyly

“That’s cool, I would love to have my first with you anywhere. Any place is nice if I’m with you.” Ravi assures to the other boy.

“So, let’s come in? “Billy says hopefull

“I’m after you.” Ravi demands softly

They entered, a to Billy it looked the same, and then sited in a table near the window, Mrs. Wong passed with the frown face she always and looked at Billy like he was from another planet.

“Thuderman boy, didn't you move from here?” She asks angrily

“I’m just passing, Mrs. Wong”

“Hum, I finally manage to get rid of you Thundermans and you comeback to visit?”M rs. Wong says obviously angry making Ravi laugh a little, she remembered him of Mrs. Chesterfield, if they knew each other they would be best friends.

“So...” Billy tries to start some conversation but can’t think of nothing to say.

“So....” Ravi repeats a little awkward “This is my first date, so please excuse any awkwardness on my part.”

“Don’t worry, it’s the first for me too.” Billy says happily “So, how is Mrs. Kipling?”

“Oh, I gave her some of her favorite snacks so I could go out without her. I hope she don’t feel lonely for the next hours” Billy started to look at the menu with nostalgia, remembering the times he came with his family here.

“I’m sure she will be fine; she looks very independent.”

“Oh, but Mrs. Kipling is a very kind and sensitive soul. We are very used to go everywhere together”

“She is really your best friend, uhm?

“Yeah, my dream is to become a biologist specialized in reptiles so I can take the best care of her.”

“That’s cool, my biggest dream is to become a big superhero, just like my father, Thunderman.”

“I’m sure you will.”

“I don’t know, I normally save people with my family in the T force, but I don’t know if the Superhero College is going to accept my applications...” He comments while asking for the food in the menu. It’s weird see Billy talking about serious stuff, he normally is so childish and happy, but it felt nice to be trusted to the points he could see this side of him.

They start to casually talk about their day, other dreams they had, their family's dynamics and basely anything that came to mind, while they eated the food that came through the tubes, it was simple, but Ravi genuinely had fun.

When they finished Billy paid the whole bill, which Ravi though it was cute considering he could buy the whole restaurant if he wanted, but having someone to pay the bill for him made him feel somehow special.

He couldn’t avoid thinking of how much proud Jessie would be if she saw how cute and romantic this guy he found.

Billy brought him back to home and the second time experiencing super speed wasn't so bad as the first, when they landed, in the same alley as before, Billy asked permission to hug him, Ravi hugged him and stole a kiss before releasing him.

The kiss was inexperienced and quick, neither of them had practice in it, but the butterflies on their stomachs flied like crazy.

Billy brought Ravi to the front of the building he lived and stopped in front the door.

“Just one more hug before you leave. Please?” He asked politely and how could Ravi say no to this? They hugged and Ravi finally goes up to his apartment only to find his older sister waiting for him.

“You’re telling me everything!”

Chapter 5-”We are dating”

Billy Thunderman

Billy was sited in front the tv for at least three hours playing The last of us, he was so addicted to it, he had encountered Ravi right after lunch like usual, but he already missed him even if they are only hours apart.

He wished they could spend together more times like this, simply playing video games together and didn't must see each other always outside their houses like they were hiding something, and true to be said they were hiding something a Billy didn't like it.

First of all, he was not the greatest in keeping secrets, especially from his family.

Second He didn't saw a motive to lie, he wasn't doing anything wrong, he was dating another teenager like everyone from his age.

His back already hurts from being in the same position for hours, so he paused the game, changed position and look at his phone looking for the answer Ravi send about the meme he had send early. He knew Ravi had a huge file of memes, cute and funny pictures of lizards, so every time he saw one, he sends to his boyfriend so he can increase the collection.

‘’Out of topic, but can I talk about us to my family?” Billy sends and receives the answer seconds later.

“Sure, love. Do you think your parents are going to take it well?” Ravi had the habit to call him love and it makes Billy get blushed every time, it was new to him have a boyfriend and every time he says that Ravi is his boyfriend his heart skips a beat.

“I have no idea. I don't see why not though” he types quickly.

“Do you want me to be there with you?” Ravi asks even if he is not ready yet to meet his boyfriend parents.

“I don’t know, I think it’s something I have to do alone” Billy hated to be serious about anything, but he was about it, he knew it was a big step.

“Alright just remember you have all the support of the world on me, and I will always be here for you.” Ravi remembered him.

He typed a quick “Thank you, love” and got back into the game. He figured he would tell Nora first, since they were and always have been best friends to each other.

Billy didn’t touch in the Ravi subject since the moment Nora didn't believe he existed, in the day of their first encounter. It was weeks ago, and he could have proved that Ravi existed only showing one of the many pictures they took together but he didn't see why he should, he was not lying and didn't see why he should count for his sister.

But as Ravi came out to his sister first, he didn't see why he shouldn't do the same, now that he thinks about it, he can't deny that he and Nora have been more and more distant to each other since he and Ravi start to date, maybe there's more in his and Nora relationship they should work on than Billy thought.

He got up, turned off the video game console and get up the stairs until he opens the door of the room he and Nora shared.

When he gets in, he sees is sister doing homework on the desk, Nora always was smarter than him she always helped him with his homework. Looking now, maybe he should have tried harder to keep close to his sister as before. She was always there for him.

“Nora, I need to tell you something.” He declared sitting on his bad.

“I’m doing homework, Billy. Can’t it wait?” She voiced not even look away

“I don’t think so, Nora, is important. And I’ll be quick. Pleaaaaaase.”He begs putting his two hands together.

“Okay, Billy, what’s wrong?” She asks looking at his direction with an annoyed look in her face.

“Well, do you remember when I said I have a friend named Ravi and you said he wasn't real?” He starts.

“Let me guess, he is real right?” She guesses like she already expected.

“Well, yeah, how do you know?” He asks surprised.

“You go out every day in the same hour and don't let go of your cell phone” She noted.

“I thought no one noticed...” He really did, but Nora always was the smarter in the home, of course she would notice the change of habits of her best friend.

“And now he is your best friend, and you don’t need me anymore.” She completed.

“What? Of course not! Where is this coming from?” He asks confused.

“We barely talked or spend time together since you met him...” She declared looking a little hurt.

“I was just a little hurt because you and everyone didn't though I was able to make real friends.” Billy admitted regretting leaving his sister like that.

“I was just scared that if you made other friends, you would not need me anymore.”

“You are my sister, Nora. Sisters are forever. I love you and I could never replace you. I promise.” Billy says and go at the desk giving Nora a tight hug.

“I’m sorry I didn’t believe you could make other friends...” She says in the hug.

“I’m sorry that I haven’t been as close as normal lately.”

“It’s cool... So, is this Ravi cool?”

“He is, he is smart, cool, he is fun, lovable and really sweet”

“Wow, if I didn't know you I would have though you have a crush on him”

“We are dating”

“”Whaaaaat?”

“We have been for some weeks” He admits laughing a little at his sister shocked face.

“How do you dare to keep this secret for me? And how do you manage to?

“I was too worried of hurting him if I told without his consent, so I didn't.”

“Oh my god. Can I meet him?”

“He is pretty shy, but I think I can make you two meet someday.”

“Show me pictures. Now!” She demands and Billy show some pictures they took together, it wasn't many since Ravi was shy which made Nora go to her cellphone to look for Ravi in Instagram.

“Oh my god, Billy. You are dating Ravi Ross!” Nora exclaims slipping through the feed not seen many pictures, Ravi was not much of an attention seeker for a Ross.

“I know, I just said it to you” Billy says as it was obvious

“He is son of Morgan and Cristina Ross, a super model and actress and a movie director, they a just a rich as blobbing!”

“God, they are definitely not getting impressed when I going to meet my parents in law.

“Please, tell me Ravi has a brother you can introduce to me”

“Well, he has, bit he always says he is stupid and don’t take baths.”

“Just like you then.”

Telling Nora gave to Billy a little bit more of confidence to tell the rest of the family, he texted to Ravi Nora’s reaction and how she wanted to meet him and wanted him to introduce Luke to her, and he got happy and proud of his boyfriend and said that even if he introduced, Luke was more like the type flirt with many than have only one.

When his mom called them for dinner, he brought together all his strength and courage, went down the stairs and sited where he normally sited, serving himself and eating quietly. Waiting the perfect moment to finally tell them,

“Mom, I have something to tell you.” He says and before his mother could ask what it was the door was suddenly open by the Thundertwins with happy smiles in their faces and baggage in their hands.

“Guess who had a break from the Heros Uni?” Max asked happily entering in the house and everyone gets up and walks to them. They had

“And are going to spend it with the family?” Completes Pheobe while their family greetings them excitedly.

“You can tell them other time, it’s better if all the family is here” Nora whimpers him and he nods sadly for being interrupted.

“Billy help your brother with the bags” His mother asks hugging Max tightly.

“But what I had to say...”He starts.

“Later. Billy, the bags, please” She demands, and helps, at least now he had the chance tell the whole family at once, he thinks.

Chapter Text

Chapter 6-”Let’s do this.”

Max Thuderman

After Max put all his bags in him room with Billy help, the Thundermans family had a really nice dinner, Barb couldn't believe his baby's where all there, they didn't see each other in weeks since the incident with Dark Mayhem where they helped to fight the criminals, her heart was screaming in excitement.

“Moms are so sentimental sometimes.” Max thinks while she asks about everything they did in the last weeks listens attentive to anything they said about classes.

He knew Pheobe called every day before sleep, so he didn't see a reason to call as well, but maybe Pheobe calling wasn't enough because his mom made at least three hundred questions to him.

Everyone in the table seemed ecstatic to have the twins back for a few days but Max noted that Billy barely touched his food, he somehow looked sad or maybe even annoyed which was new, he normally was the most excited person in the room.

Max tried not to be worried as anyone else seemed notice Billy strange behave; he was not the type to meddling in other people business.

After the dinner Pheobe helped his mom to wash the dishes and Max got upstairs to use the bathroom when he passed by Billy and Nora’s room and hears them talking to each other, normally he wouldn't stop to listen, but hear his name made him interested.

“So, you didn't like that Max and Pheobe came back to home today?” Nora asked, her voice muffled by the door. Max asked himself why would

“Of course, I liked it. I just wish it was not today you know?”

“You can always come out other day.” She assures him making Max surprised, so Billy was part of the LGBT+ community and he was supposed to come out today?

“Yeah, but it was difficult to reunite the courage to tell everyone, it's a little bit frustrating it didn't work” Billy admits making Max a little somewhat regretful even if it was not exactly Oihis fault, he would find a way to make it up with Billy tomorrow, he promised to himself.

Billy Thunderman

Billy lied down in his bed and picked his cellphone, happy he finally would talk to Ravi, It was only about two hours since they texted each other but Billy already missed him dearly.

He would visit him in New York, but him family probably would find weird they see each other so late, mainly because outside Emma, neither of them knew who Billy was.

Billy clicked in Ravi’s contact and in second the other boy picked the call.

“Night, Love, how did it go? ” Ravi asked with a low voice drowsy with sleep that Billy thought it was cute as hell.

“I couldn't make it; my older sibling came back home, and all the attention turned to them” Billy admitted sadly, even though hearing his boyfriend voice made him feel better.

“I see… maybe it's for the better, maybe it was just not the right time”

“Yeah, I will try again later, with the role family together.”

“When will your siblings go back to college?”

“They said about three days, I wish I was happier with them being here but I’m kind of tired of them receiving all the attention.” Billy commented

“I totally get you, but don’t be sad. Parents give different levels of attention to the kids who needs more. And you always will be my favorite, no matter what.”

“You are my favorite person too”

“Billy! Go to sleep you talk to you boyfriend later”

“I have to go; Nora doesn’t know how treat real love.” Billy stated making Ravi laugh.

“Good night, Love”

Billy woke up with Max knocking on his door fervently he gets up completely confused with sleep numbing his thoughts.

“What is it, Max? I was having a really good dream about dinosaurs” Billy voiced angrily and confused. His face frowned while he looks at his older brother shining smile.

“It’s just mom is going to take the girls to a girls day in the mall and dad is going to enjoy a fifteen percent discount in the restaurant in the end of the street, I thought maybe you and me could do something together” It was weird, normally Max didn’t hang with him, normally Max would be in his room ignoring whatever Billy do in cases like this.

“Max its very nice you want to spend some brotherly time with me, but couldn’t you wait I wake up first?”

“Stop being such a complainer. Now take bath and brush your teeth because you morning breath is killing me” Billy blew in his hand and gone to the bathroom take a shower.

The soap smelled nice, like jasmine and the water falling in his skin like a gentle rain washed his sleep away.

He finishes his bath putting toothpaste in his toothbrush and brushing his teeth gently, he had to take extra care of his mouth now that he had some who actually kiss it.

He dried his body and hair with a towel and puts a normal everyday clothe, a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, no underwear, like always, he stopped using those years ago, those fabric prison.

He tied his shoes like always, without the final lap in his shoelace it made easier for him to run when needed.

He picked his phone from the charger and messaged Ravi “Good morning” he liked to do it every day so Ravi could know he was the first thing he though when he wakes up. God, he was so gay for him.

When he and Max had breakfast his mom and his sisters already left let him, Max and his dad to eat alone, in the big silent house.

Max did not tell him where they were going so Billy had no idea of what he should expect, normally Pheobe and Max only wanted to be close to Billy and Nora when they want something from it, like using his powers to some crazy elaborated scheme, but apparently not this time.

Max was genuinely nice to him all day long; they had gone to a skate park so Billy could learn how to skateboard, and Max used his telepathy, so Billy didn't fall a single time, and he had a lot of fun.

Then Max asked where he would like to eat, and they had lunch at Burger King, Billy’s favorite restaurant, and nearby there was an arcade and Billy and Max played together and against each other and Max didn't tried cheat not even once.

They were walking home quietly from this magic and fun day and Billy asked himself if he forgot his own birthday again until, about one block near their house Max casually says:

“So... I heard your talk with Nora yesterday.”

“What are you talking about?”

“About you coming out, sorry I ruined everything”

“Oh, so you are being nice to me to make up for blowing my coming out?”

“Yeah, and I thought it would be nice spend time with my younger brother. You know, I’m bi, and I know how difficult is to express yourself in a family, a world that only accept perfection, even more if you are a superhero.”

“I didn't know you were bi or that you felt this way. I guess I never saw this way.”

“I never told anyone; well Pheobe finds out because she is nosy as fuck. But I never had the courage to say it myself.”

“Did you ever date a guy?”

“I did! His name was Henry, it didn’t work.”

“Really? Why?”

“Distance”

“You know Max, we should come out together!”

“I don’t know about it buddy”

“Come on, I’m by your side. We do it together and we’ll finally be free.”

“Yeah. Free to look for other places to live.”

“Do you really think they would kick us out?”

“I don’t really know, never asked to mom or dad what they think about gay people.”

“I’m optimistic about this, principally with the second favorite child coming out with me.”

The stop looking hesitantly that finally arrived

“So, Max, what do you think?”

“Fine, let’s do this.”

Chapter Text

Chapter 7-”Never stop.”

Billy Thunderman

Billy opened the door hesitantly but apparently the rest of his family did not arrive yet, so he thanked his brother for the great day they had and goes up to his room so he can text Ravi about his talk with his brother.

“You are so lucky to have another lgbtq+ in your family.” Ravi noted and Billy agreed, it was so much easier knowing that a least someone will have his back.

Looking now, his relationship with Max was never close, they weren't the first person they will look to if they need help with something, they weren’t the first person they would look to if they needed to tell a secret, but they were brothers, and they loved each other and they trusted each other.

Maybe this is what a family is about, a group of people that not always are you best friend, but you know you can always count on them.

Before the rest of his family comes back, he runs to New York so he can get some kisses from his lovable boyfriend, he loved his superpower and the practicality it brings to his relationship with Ravi, even living in different city they still could see each other every day.

Before leaving Ravi asked him again if he needed him to be there for him when he talks to his family, Billy thanks him but declines, for some reason he knows Ravi is not ready to do it. Billy could not be the brightest, but he was good when it comes to feelings.

When he comes back again his mother and sister are back home and his father is in a good mood for the good meal he had in a not-so-expensive-price, and everything seemed all right.

He waited for the diner in his room while Nora gossiped to him everything they said while they were out. Girls can be mean when they were together.

Taken by the courage he went down the stairs looked his mom in the eyes and finally says the words.

“Mom, I’m bi. And Max is too, and before you say anything I’m dating a boy, and he is wonderful, and kind, and smart and he makes my heartbeat so fast it sounds like buzzing.” Billy babbling so fast it was practically impossible to understand him, Barb looked in Max direction looking for some guidance, but he only shrugged as he says, “Whatever he says.”

“God, Billy calm down. I can barely understand you.” Barb says but with a kind smile on her face. “Well... first off all I’m happy you are telling me this. And second, tell me more about this boy where did you meet him? Do you know his parents? How long have you dating...?” Barb had a lot of questions mother’s concerns, but she was visibly happy for her children.

“Congratulation, Billy. I knew about Max, but you are certainly a surprise.” Pheobe congratulations him putting a hand on your shoulder gently with a proud smile on her face to her two brothers.

Nora lazed Max in the butt quickly with mischief in her smile.

“OW, why did you do it?” Max screamed gently passing his hand over the affected area.

“This is for not telling me sooner, I hate being the last to know.”

Then suddenly his father who was sited in front the tv waiting for the diner to be ready and who remained quiet until this point gets up, walks to the kitchen and speaks.

“Pheobe, you knew about this nonsense and didn’t say anything?”

“What you are talking about, Hank?” Asked Barb, with the ‘You better be careful with what you’re going to say’ tone.

“Barb, this is not normal, is not how a hero should behave. I though Max was going to stop to embarrass us to the superhero community.” He stated like a child close to throwing a tantrum but at the same time with that attitude that will not accept being contradicted.” And Billy, I expected more from you.”

“Look dad, if it were for me, I wound even tell you or the rest of the family at all, I don’t think is anyone's business, but Billy is super excited and idiotically in love with this boy and wanted to share with this family and I not gonna accept you ruin this.”

“Yeah dad, we all support Billy and Max.” Nora spoke angrily

“And Max and Billy don’t embarrass us, A hero must be judge by his acts, not who they love” Pheobe says proudly hugging her two brother

“And if you don’t support the kids you wanted have, we’re going to have problems.” Barb voiced look in his eyes with the ‘You don’t want to sleep in the sofa, do you?”

“I don’t know kids... This is too much for me. I going to think” Hank did not care to lose dinner, he only got up to his room, and this is certainly new, Hank cared about food almost like he cared about his family.

“So... group hug?” Billy asked and they happily hugged each other as family

One week later...

“...So, this is what happened, my dad is acting weird since Max and Pheobe gone back to Uni, after ‘The talk’ he didn't speak with me too much, but the rest of the family is fine.” The central park, like always was bustling, Billy and Ravi sited near a tree Ravi told Billy that his sister Zuri planted e protected for days for a school project.

It was the day after Billy came out end, they were sitting in park to talk to each other in peace, since Billy didn’t want to bring Ravi to his house yet, with all the situation with his father and the fact that Ravi was not ready yet to this next step. They could simply run with Billy super speed to Ravi’s room, and no one would see them, but Ravi was afraid someone would hear them.

Billy spoke freely about everything was up to his mind, Ravi didn't judge him for being dumb, he cleared the things to him, something close to what Nora did when they were together, and Billy knew he could trust his boyfriends and his sister to be forever by his side without judgement.

Ravi felt something close, he could talk about his scientifically theories, his though or simply his day and Billy would listen quietly and say how smart he was end if there something Ravi needed was support his ideas, he loved his siblings, but they were always saying how nerd and unpopular he is.

With Billy the things light, were easy, were simple. Like the flow of a river.

“When I decide to come out, can You be there with me?” Ravi asked shyly

“Sure, I always be there for you.” Ravi didn’t know when was came out to his family, he didn’t want to deal with more jokes than he was used to, but it was nice to know that when he was ready, Billy would be by his side.

“I love you.” He says without thinking but is true he does love Billy, even if he feels is too soon to say something like this. Billy looks at him like his grown a second head until he smiles a excitedly distribute kisses all over his face and finally kiss him in the mouth deeply.

“I love you too, I wanted to say it, but I was scared you would find it too soon, and things would be weird between us, but now you said it first, then I think is all right, then I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you...” Billy said so fast Ravi could barely understand him.

“Love, calm down, you’re speaking too fast.” Ravi said calmly with the flood of love Billy was giving too him.

“Yeah, I think I do that when I’m nervous or excited.” Billy explained with a shining smile.” Sometimes is difficult to control in what or when my superspeed influence.”

“Do you, want to listen to music with me? It always helps me to calm down” Ravi says getting his cellphone from him pocket with his air pods passing one to Billy “We can listen to Ed Sherran or maybe something from Gogo...”

“Gogo? And do you listen to Ed Sherran?”

“Selena Gomes, and oh, of course I do, his lyrics are touching with their wit and romanticism of a genuine British man.”

“Ed Sherran, then.”

“Billy, do you think I’m a coward for not coming out yet?”

“Of course no, being a hero is knowing when you should act and when you should wait. I almost arrested a guy once for asking his girlfriend to marry him for not knowing this.

“What?”

“Long story... But you are not a coward. It’s completely okay to wait until you are ready, and I always will be here to support you.

“Thank you, Billy. I love you.”

“I love you too, and now that I can say it am not gonna stop to say it.”

“Never stop.”

“Never will.”

Three months later...

Billy was just as nervous as Ravi; it would be the first time in months that his father and mother would be in home at the same time and Ravi thought it would be the perfect time to finally come out to his family.

Ravi have been preparing himself for three months, since Billy did the same thing, and now da Billy says his father is taking their dating better he feels more confidant to finally be sincere with his parents. Emma and Billy support have been more important than ever to him, he and his sister have been closer than ever.

“Hi, champ, is this your new friend?” asked his father when he gets out of the elevator and stops to kiss his mother like they always do. Billy was sited right next to him, holding his hands and trying to control himself so his superspeed don’t get out of control and he ends up running through all this gigantic living room.

“Actually, Mrs. mom, Mr. dad... This is my boyfriend, Billy... Billy this is my mom and my dad, Morgan and Cristina.” Ravi says shyly and his parents stop to move for a second, then run in their direction hugging Ravi with all their strength

“Kids!” Cristina called screaming with euphoria while kissed Ravis's cheeks, he was so happy and surprised that couldn't say anything.

His sibling came together down the stairs in the middle of the stairs Emma asked with a smile on her face knowing what was happening.

“You finely told them?” She asks happily joining in the embrace.

“Tell them what?” Luke asks looking confused but embracing the hug as well.

“Ravi likes boys” Zuri deduces

“What? You knew?” Ravi exclaims surprised with his sister's wit.

“Are you kidding? Ravi likes man, Columbus discovered America, tell me something new.” She says almost bored.

“I can’t believe you told Emma before telling me, we are best friends.” Luke complained to Ravi that only looked to him with a ‘I’m sorry’ face.

“What about you? Wont you join us?” Morgan asked looking to Billy that until now just looked everything happen without saying anything.

“Can I?” He asked unsure.

“You are part of the family now.” Cristina says raising her arm as if calling Billy for the hug.” After passing by the rigorous investigation of our agents” She completes.

And with all that love Ravi could see that he had no reason to be so scared, his family loved him no matter what.

And so does Billy.
