Weiss is making herself tea one quiet morning. No one is really up, even the kiddos, though Rust is probably working in their Lil workshop on a model or something, it's 5 am so they're usually up. Weiss rubs over her very swollen belly, she's 7 months pregnant now. And it kinda sucks, she hasn't slept well in ages but what makes it better is her partners, always there for her. Pyrrha has been using her good leg to prop up Weiss’ belly, Yang frequently will hold her belly for her and Velvet made her a belly band to wear when it gets too much. Though her favorite is floating in the tub with Ruby.
The Rose wakes up noticing her Weissicle isn't in bed. Just Penny and Pyrrha. So she leaves the two to go find her snowflake, when she finds her she slips her arms around Weiss' waist and kisses her neck "Hey baby. Can't sleep? " she asks as she rubs the bump "No. I was kicked awake again, and my back hurts" she murmurs. Ruby gasps and kneels down in front of Weiss to lift her shirt and nuzzle her belly "Hey. Be nice to your mom" she purrs to the little one "You'll have plenty of snuggle time once you're born" she hums as she rubs over her belly, feeling the baby press against Ruby's hand. Now that feeling, while odd, is one of Weiss' favorites. The baby always responds to ruby real well, it's like they know their papa already "Mmmm. I think after I make this tea I want to float in the tub" she hums. She's so glad she put in full sized jet tubs in all three suites of the house "That sounds perfect, I'll get the tub ready" she purrs as she goes off in a flurry of petals to go run the bath for Weiss.
The smaller woman takes her time getting ready, eventually joining ruby. Who's drawn her an immaculate bath, with rose oil and petals. She tears up before going to kiss her "Thanks baby." she hums as ruby goes to undress them both so they can slip in the warm water. Ruby gets in first, helping Weiss in and positioning her so she can kinda float in the rather deep water, taking all the pressure off her spine and hips "Man. I think this baby is more Xiao Long than Rose" she teases "With the way they've been kicking I'd say so. Blake got beat up pretty bad too" she hums. "But also Dusk and Ashe were like 8 pounds each" Weiss whines, everyone remembers when they were born, even the doctor was surprised in their size "What if our little one is 10" Ruby teases and earns a leg pinch from Weiss "Please don't curse me like that, I'm too small for a baby that big, at this rate i'm going to need a c section" she says softly "But you're gonna have one anyway" Ruby reminds her. After the debacle of Winters pregnancy and birth topped with her moms medical history weiss and the OBGYN decided it best that she just have a c-section no matter what, it's far safer than trying to go through with the birth normally.
Weiss huffs "it's the principle of it" she says, but they both stay silent after that. Just floating together in the rose scented water. it's all nice for about 20 minutes until they hear the kids get up, from the sound of it, with Velvet in tow, she's usually the first one that gets woken up by the child stampede. And this morning is no different, Weiss and Ruby decide to just stay in the tub a lil longer, enjoying the peace while it lasts.
