Work Text:
Aizawa was completely shocked, worried, and pissed. He knew you, his darling, wouldn't dare leave him. You stopped trying a year ago. You actually loved him, you actually wanted to be with him. Y'all had a wedding with only you and him (all needed was a paper) and you have cats together, you might even start a family.
So why the hell was the door unlocked with you no where in sight? He called out to you and you didn't answer. It was pouring out, so heavily, and all umbrellas were in the rightful spot. Nothing in the closet seemed different. The only outta place thing was you.
He ran down the stairs of his house. Were you tricking him? Did you fake all of it just so you could get a shot at freedom? Aizawa would find you, and once he does, you're being punished. Every bit of trust he had in you was gone now. You'd be locked in the room like before for days. You wouldn't be allowed to wander the house unless he was around. If you needed the bathroom he'd be there.
All the freedom you had would be snatched.
He ran outside, looking for you, he didn't know which way to run. He was about to run right, when he heard noises behind the house. He raises an eyebrow and goes to look at it.
He's quiet, in case you're trying to get away, the rain coming down hard so it wasn't that hard to cover his noises.
Though, when he saw you, it was you, he was shocked. You were by the door. There use to be a small fence that you couldn't get over but you could go outside but after a bad storm that got knocked down, but you still stayed inside of where the fence was, not leaving it.
You were splashing in puddles, giggles and laughter being filled outside as you did so, jumping up and down or kicking it. You were soaked, so you've been outside for quite a while, and you were just in your shirt and shorts, nothing protecting you at all.
You walked around, kicking, when you fell and slipped, landing on your butt. Aizawa goes to make sure your okay, and you look up at him with a huge grin.
"Shotaa! Join meee! Pleaseee!"
You beamed, standing up, you had mud all on you now, but you didn't care.
Aizawa stared. He couldn't be mad, right? You stayed in your area, the area he gave you. You could've ran, that much is clear, but you didn't. Why didn't you? Were you that obedient to him?
"Why're you out here.. you could get sick.."
Aizawa walks up to you, taking off his soaked jacket to put on you, it didn't do much, but it did protext you better then anything.
"I wanna splash in puddles!"
You say and Aizawa nods.
"Why didn't you run? You could've.."
You blink, tilting you head, before going back to kicking the water.
"I didn't wanna, plus then you'd get mad. You're not mad I'm out here right? I swore I never left the fenced area even if the fence is gone!"
You look up at him, worried you did make him mad.
He was mad at first, when the house was unlocked. Assuming you did run away and all your love was false. But the love in your eyes when you saw him outside, and how you stayed in your area despite being able to leave, it filled Aizawa with warmth and happiness.
He shakes his head, grabbing your hand.
"Let's change into better clothes and we can jump in the puddles, alright? Don't want you sick."
Your eyes light up and you nod, following him into the house.
Both of y'all jumped into the puddles for hours. Only stopping for an hour or two whenever Aizawa got too worried, and whenever y'all came inside, he took a nice hot shower with you.
After seeing how much you could be trusted, sometimes he'd let you go to the park by yourself, eventually letting you get grocieies by yourself. Before when you were trusted a bit less, he'd allowed you to go with him. But now you're basically free to leave whenever. You just had to make a deal with him that whenever you did you'd message him where, and when you'd be back.
