Chapter Text
Long before the Celestial War, before even Lucifer was born; the very first angel fell, for a reason that would later be repeated---falling deeply for a mortal, and giving too much to save them. He would do anything for his beloved, including disobey Father. He took a fruit from the celestial realm to save her, to keep her alive for longer, even if her lifespan was fleeting no matter the decision he made.
He fell for this. And he scorned the Celestial Realm for this, consumed by hatred and wrath for them. Wrath towards anything and everything; how could he end up like this, suffering, because it was not okay to do what he had to to save his love? All he did was adore and love her, and this is what the world gives him?
Thus, he was born as the Avatar of Wrath. Until, many years later, he came to slowly accept his anger. Accept it all, for it was okay to feel that way, despite the fact that it was nobody's fault. The Celestial Realm didn't determine what rules were in place, and the angels within it were simply following tradition, rules. Slowly, he let go of his wrath. Slowly, Raguel acknowledged him. And one day, he was reborn again, an angel once more. Some do not accept him, for he fell once, and was once a demon; some hold him to a pedestal, for coming back and reclaiming his divinity and honor once more, despite falling and despite his sin.
Simeon, the very first fallen angel. And the very first demon to redeem himself.
When, many years later, the exchange program starts, Simeon is called back to the Devildom. And while there, he comes to see himself in the brothers.
He desires to help them. Because he was once suffering, the same way as them, wrestling with a sin, crumbling over the memories of the past. But he overcame it, and he knows each of them can too.
He starts with Mammon, soon after Satan; and when the blonde redeems himself, it is proof: these brothers can find their way back to TCR, just as he did and just as Satan, who'd never been an angel, did, too.
It's only a matter of time before each of them are angels again, too. And he'll stay by them until then. He'll stay by them even afterwards, when at last, their divinity is restored.
