“ When we get through this, there are some things I need to talk to you about,” Danny made sure to change if to when Sam said it with a lot of certainty. He couldn’t blame her and even so, he hated that he had feared for what might happen because he failed to defeat his evil self. However, staring into Sam’s eyes made Danny want to hope for the best.
“I think I’d be willing to listen. We’ve been on this ride together and just know, I wouldn’t change it for the world. Not one bit,” she told him. Danny reached for her arms, holding her gently as he stared into her eyes.
“Me neither. I…” Slowly but surely, Danny’s gaze fell towards her lips and Sam could feel his gaze on her lips. Sam decided to press a small kiss on Danny’s cheek, causing him to gently tilt her head up so he could press his lips onto hers, giving her a much longer kiss. After a few seconds, Danny couldn’t help but cup the girl’s cheeks with his hands, keeping his lips on hers.
When Danny pulled away, both of them were smiling widely at each other. They were going to be alright and they both knew it.
