When Tripitaka freed Wukong, the first thing he did was stretch and the crack of his bones made Tripitaka increasingly concerned that Wukong would dislocate a shoulder or hip. He also tried brushing his hair after an hour of freeing him, resulting with a whole chunk of hair falling out and the brush being stuck.

Imagine if Wukong still has the circlet. And the only reason he trapped DBK under a mountain, destroyed Camel Ridge and 'killed' Macaque was bc the Jade Emperor or Tripitaka (Tripitaka not knowing his connections with them) forced him to using the circlet. And every time the Jade Emperor meets him, he subconsciously protect his head where the circlet (under layers of glamours) still resides. Nobody knows that the circlet is still there, not even MK. He still flinches when someone touches the top of his head.

Tripataka is a dead tired parent figure towards the group. He also has accidentally traumatized Sun Wukong. He's kinda an asshole, but he tries his best. Also I love brutally honest Tripitaka. If I'm not wrong, he once mistaken a human for a demon because of how ugly they were, and the person knew that monks can't lie. Poor guy.

1) DBK cheated on PIF like in JTTW and PIF decided to divorce him(not sure if she did divorce him in JTTW) and this affects the plot way more than you would think.

2) The golden dragon duo fuck with a time traveling artifact (it in fact wasn't and just sent them to another universe w very little differences) and they also got age regressed so father Wukong and cool uncle Ao Lie to the rescue (cue Wukong becoming mama bear(monkey?)).

3)LMK season 5 came out

4)MK and Mei were supposed to be the Hero(Harbinger) and the Warrior(Soldier) done right but someone made some misunderstandings between them and history repeats.

5)MK gets the circlet put on him by some bitchass celestial (make said celestial a pretty influential person in the imperial court) and Wukong straight up justs go : Rampaging Through Heaven: Part 3! With happy ending please.

Chapter 7: Random headcanon for MK

MK would kinda space out for a brief moment after someone says something mean to him bc he was thinking about his response and the first 5 are literally him roasting them, but he's too kind for that.

Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again,
MK is sassy bc he works in customer service. He also definitely supplies Mei with tea because for some reason, people have less shame in front of retail or customer service workers. I had an uncle who was dating 2 women at the same time. My uncle requested the same delivery person to deliver food to both of the women's house because said delivery person was very fast. The delivery person saw my uncle clearly calling both the women "babe" and tipped both of the women off that my uncle was dating both of us them.

I headcanon Goliath as FTM. Why, you may ask?

Because in real life, female spiders are bigger and stronger than male ones. It isn't canon if this sexual dismorphic trait applies to the spider demons as well, but I think it is implied since the Spider Queen is bigger and stronger than the others (maybe her adopted children?).

I have accepted Chimerashipping now. I am it, it is me. All jokes aside, I decided to change the tags to Long Xiaojiao | Mei/Qi Xiaotian | MK/Red Son. For some reason I find it funny how every other character in the series has a Chinese name, but not Red Son.

Shipping HC:

1) I like to think Mei and MK sync up on their periods, and Red Son becomes the designated Demon Heating Pad™. Not like they mind.

2) They do eachothers hair. This goes with my HC that Red Son's hair behaves like fire, and is very hot to the touch but turns room temperature and black when wet. This doesn't affect Mei, but anytime MK wants to braid Red Son's hair, he either has to do it when her hair is wet or with fireproof gloves.

3) Mei and Red Son absolutely spoil MK. However, Mei has known MK long enough that he won't accept cash or valuable items like gold or gemstones just being given to him. Red Son did not have this knowledge for the first few months of him being redeemed, and most of their gifts were rejected. She learned eventually with Mei's help.
