Chapter Text
We open up with the Boiling Isles, showing off its many locations and citizens. Everything is happy, peaceful and magical.
Luz (voiceover):
“Imagine a place where wishes come true. Where you can live out your deepest desires and greatest dreams. A beautiful and magical world where good always triumphs over evil. Where anyone could feel belonged and fit in.”
We then cut to a hooded figure carrying a bird palisman running around in a mysterious castle. It LOOKS like the castle of Emperor Belos, but it feels different somehow.
Luz (voiceover):
“But what if I told you that such a life is within reach?”
The hooded figure then stops in front of a large, empty room with giant stained glass windows. Luz is there with her back towards the figure, she is wearing what appears to be her Azura costume. The figure slowly walks towards her and takes off the hood.
Luz: (voice gets older sounding)
“All you have to do…”
She turns around to face this person and walks towards him with something in her hand.
“…is hand your wish…”
Luz then places the item in the person’s hand. It's a jagged knife.
“…to me~”
Suddenly Luz’s face is no longer in shadow, her eyes now glowing a golden color. Her appearance is now that of an old lady, her ears messily carved to look like witches' ears.
This is a different Luz.
For a split second, we see the scared face of the hooded figure.
It's Caleb.
A much younger Caleb.
The next scene shows Caleb running away in fear, desperate to escape the castle. We hear Luz and the Collector laughing in the background. They are not evil-sounding laughs though, cause the two still believe they are the good guys.
(Cut to the roof of the Owl House on a starry night, Caleb is there with his younger brother Philip)
Caleb: (nervous, fiddling with Flapjack)
“What chance do we have of beating Empress Luzura? She’s way more powerful than any of us!”
Philip: (looking off in the distance, determined)
“That's just what she wants us to believe. That madwoman treats herself like she's the all-loving hero in her own story. Well, there’s one thing she overlooked.”
Philip turns to look at his brother, a light glyph activated in his hand.
Philip: (determined smile)
“This isn’t just her story. It’s ours too. And I won’t let her take that away from us.”
His eyes briefly glow a shining blue, and the light glyph flashes the screen.
Caleb (voiceover singing):
🎶 ”So I look up at the stars to guide me ” 🎶

The scene of the brothers arriving in the Boiling Isles then cuts to them marveling at the demon realm’s nature and a big display of magic Evelyn shows.

Scene of Luzura wearing her mask and putting on a magical performance for an adoring crowd.
Quick cut to the Starlight Guard watching in full gear with a cheering Collector next to her.

We then cut to various scenes of the main cast:
Caleb and Evelyn dancing on Grom night
Philip, Terra, and Adrian work together to defeat the jock Wrath
🎶 “Hey, yeah, yeah, yeah” 🎶
Luzura shows a presentation to a sweeping reveal of the coven heads, some of which include Amity, Willow, and Gus
Huntress the Starlight Guard takes off her mask to look at a mysterious snake palisman, then it hard cuts to her staring at a mind portrait of Camila in horror, realizing how much she looks like her
🎶 “More than this” 🎶
King and Hooty bonding with Eberwolf
Darius and Alador show off their abomination magic
The flyer derby team, consisting of Hettie, Vitimir, Osran, and Mason, winning a game
Lilith and Eda's epic magic fight briefly flashes to the future fight of the brothers
🎶 “So I make this wish” 🎶
The screen flashes to a series of runes that form a sentence:
Seething Seas And Puppet Strings
🎶 “To have something more for us than this” 🎶
But then, all sorts of magic twists and changes the first word to reveal the true title:
Switching Seas And Puppet Strings
