Summary
Alastor, Niffty and Husk were hired under the rug to help Princess Charlotte run away to see her estranged father on the far side of Pentagrams pride ring. On a stop near a town, Husker ends up stopping in a saloon and getting the firecracker Angel, who desperately hires him for a ride out of town.

There was a pause, a silent stare down as Husk just kept watching him, looking him over, thinking perhaps. This had to be it, there was no more time left, the phantom strain on his neck was tighter than he could manage. If he had to he’d just leg it again. Run until the burn in his chest made him throw up, his legs wobbled and the only shelter he could manage between towns was bushes. In those scenarios, it can be done, the white powdery substance in his compact would hold him through the worst of it like it always did.
