Laszlo - Too Familiar

Summary:

Laszlo's story! Page 1 of 2!

Chapter Text

Image description: A comic rendered in pencil in a simple, cartoony style. Exterior of the Staten Island mansion at night. Inside, Laszlo is seated for a confessional interview, holding a pipe and looking bored. He says, "Gizmo's first day? ...I haven't a fucking clue." Wavy lines indicate a memory sequence.

A smiling Guillermo is silhouetted in the front door of the mansion, holding a suitcase. Nandor stands silhouetted next to the open front door. Nandor says, "Ouhh.. Right, it's eh..."

"Guillermo!" Happy to -"

"Did I ask for a life story?" Yeesh!"

Laszlo is off to the side in the shadows, turning to notice the arrival.

Next, Guillermo is smiling, facing Laszlo. Guillermo says, "Hi, I'm Nandor's new familiar-," before Laszlo cuts him off with, "Don't you fucking speak to me."

Dumb clock drawing indicates transition to Way Past Vampire Bedtime.

Laszlo is wearing striped pajamas and nightcap like an Ebeneezer Scrooge, looking annoyed and checking a wristwatch. The watch points to the word, "Dick." Laszlo thinks, "What the hell's keeping Nandor? Usually I can't keep him away..."

Laszlo creeps thru the house in the dead of day. He is wearing bunny slippers. He listens at the ajar library door, hearing, "Yes, a little to the left there, Gyemo..."

Nandor is in silhouette, reclining on a chaise lounge in front of the lit fireplace. He smiles and waves a hand lazily towards Guillermo, who is balancing precariously on a stepladder with a feather duster. Incidentally, Guillermo is cheeked up.

"That's right Gyermo, put your back into it! If you hurry, you may have time to shine my boots again!"

"Yes master!"

End description.
