Summary:

"I want you to fake date somebody." Josie announced, waiting patiently for Lizzie's response which was a sigh of relief. "Oh, okay then I'll just ask MG-" Lizzie started but was cut off by Josie's tut-tut-tuts.

"Nope! I get to choose..." She started skipping now. "Maybe Rafael..." she wondered to herself, making Lizzie's hopeful again, but she was quickly shut down.

"Eh, no you like him too much." she giggled, making Lizzie roll her eyes. "What about... Landon!" Josie exclaimed, making her sister gag. "I'd rather throw myself off the bridge.' she retorted, hoping Josie would pick anyone else.

She stopped skipping and skidded too fast almost falling on the rug, but then she started laughing manically. "Um, Jo..." Lizzie looked at her as if she was dying laughing on the floor.

"You're going to fake date Hope Mikaelson!" Josie screamed and watched for Lizzie's reaction. Her face fell and immediately she started panicking "No, no, no. Anyone else I'm not going to do it-"

Chapter Text

The sound of a slamming door awoke Lizzie from her short-lived nap, she rose from the comfort of her blanket just in time to see her twin sister plop down on her bed, huffing in frustration. "Jo..." Lizzie's raspy morning voice laced with concern and confusion appeared.

Josie turned her head to glare at the blonde, like Lizzie pissed in her morning cereal, not muttering a single word. "Okay." Lizzie fully sat up on her bed, rubbing her eyes to wash away the effects of her sleep.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" she inquired, waiting for Josie's explanation. After a minute of the silent treatment, Josie finally fessed up. "Penelope." She just mumbled quietly, knowing what her sister's reaction was going to be.

"Oh my god! Do not mention you know who's name!" Lizzie exploded, she was already on her feet pacing and stomping around their small dorm. "Why the hell were you speaking to the devil, do you have a death wish?" Lizzie stopped right in front of Josie her hands on her hips, only the wagging of the finger was missing. She looked exactly like their mom when she reprimanded them for misbehaving.

"She just came to me all flirty and annoying, teasing me about- Ugh!" She fully fell back on her bed, dying of embarrassment. After 10 seconds of childishly screaming into her pillow, she stopped and sat up, glancing at Lizzie with a shameful look.

"I just miss her... a lot." She shrugged and wiped her wet cheeks. "Oh, Jo." Lizzie sighed and went to embrace her sister. "It'll be okay." She rubbed Josie's back up and down, and scratched her head, hoping to calm her down.

Then an idea popped into Lizzie's head, she quickly pulled away from Josie and started shaking her shoulders, a few brunette strands getting in the way. "Ow! What the hell-" Josie yelped, looking at Lizzie betrayed.

"I have something that'll cheer you up!" Lizzie announced, a shit-eating grin appearing on her lips. "Let's make a bet; you get over miss demon by the end of this year-"

"How is that a good bet for me?" Josie glared at her, not impressed in the slightest. "Let me finish! and I will do whatever dare or bet you want me to do." Josie's eyes sparkled slightly it seemed, a smirk appearing on her face.

"Anything, you say?" Josie asked. Lizzie's grin was no longer there, now replaced with a worrying smile. "Anything to make you happy." She cleared her throat, awaiting Jo's response.

Josie stood on her feet, it was her time to pace around their room, trying to think of the best dare she could... "Okay." she paused, her smile growing larger, making Lizzie squirm on her bed.

"I want you to fake date somebody." Josie announced, waiting patiently for Lizzie's response which was a sigh of relief. "Oh, okay then I'll just ask MG-" Lizzie started but was cut off by Josie's tut-tut-tuts.

"You're going to fake date Hope Mikaelson!" Josie screamed and watched for Lizzie's reaction. Her face fell and immediately she started panicking "No, no, no. Anyone else I'm not going to do it-" she barked and Josie looked at her with her puppy eyes.

"But you promised." Josie jutted out her bottom lip, reminding her of her failures. "I was wrong you're actually the devil." Lizzie hissed.

"And also! may I remind you that I'm straight and also Hope would never agree to the arrangement." She informed her sister, crossing her arms over her chest like a toddler.

"And because you hate each other?" Josie picked at her chipped yellow nail polish, raising an accusatory eyebrow. "And because I hate her what does she hate me for, I'm perfect!" Lizzie grunted, looking at herself in the mirror, fixing her bed head.

"Well as you said yourself you're straight. What's there to worry about? maybe this could fix your relationship with her and you never know she might agree to it." Josie reminded her, appearing by her side and placing her head on Lizzie's shoulder.

The two sisters juxtaposed each other, both looking at themselves in the mirror. The brunette was cheerful and excitedly awaiting the frowny blonde's answer. Lizzie sighed, looking at the creasing of her face because of the looking daggers. She closed her eyes, breathed in, and turned to look at her sister's face.

"Fine. I'll do it."
