She was desperate. Kakashi and Obito were out of the fight, Naruto and Sasuke fighting nonstop against Kaguya. She could help, but Sasuke's imbalance worries her, Naruto doesn't see that. He has murderous eyes towards her and Naruto. Then she sees him, almost dead, the remnant of strength he possesses shows that he wants to live. She needs to at least try. She has something to offer that might interest you.
He was dying, the sounds of a distant battle seemed like death ravings. But then he felt a warm chakra invading his body, a soft aroma of cherry blossoms mixing with the smell of sweat and blood that prevailed there. The jaws of death had to release him. The glimpse of that woman trying to save him left him lost. But it shows that it can be much more useful than anyone would think. A trump card would be the more appropriate word.
An agreement is made by two parties, aiming for mutual benefit. What happens when these parts are ripped from your present, and thrown into other circumstances? The agreement could be undone.
