“We’re just having a conversation,” Hal said, like Clark was crazy for even bringing it up.
“In the showers?"
“Yeah?” Hal asked, scrubbing at his back with one hand. Frowning, he twisted around in the spray so he was facing away from Bruce. “Hey, is it on my neck? I swear I can still feel it there.”
Bruce leaned over, scanning Hal’s back. “No. You’re clear.”
(or, the time Hal followed Bruce into the Watchtower showers to continue an argument and nobody but Clark thought that was weird)

“Tomorrow,” Bruce repeated in the same tone, like the asshole he was. “Thanks for the save today, Lantern.”
Hal flipped him off, grabbing his soaking clothing off the tiles with his other hand. He headed toward the adjoining locker rooms in full, unselfconscious nudity, wringing out the undershirt.
“Thanks for the save today, Lantern,” Hal said when he passed Clark, eyebrows raised. “Is he fucking for real?”
Mystified, Clark decided that was his cue to leave. He scanned Bruce one final time, checking his vitals -- still slightly elevated from the fight, but trending downwards -- and exited into the hallway.
