Chapter 1: 1: office on fire

Chapter Text

Christal sat on the stairs that led from the girl's dorms, she looked out of the window, it was a late spring summer day. The sun shone brightly and Chris was pretty sure she even heard some birds outside. Most of her classmates had been out of the castle, right now outside was much warmer than the castle, so the students tried to be outside as much as possible.

" Hello! The headmaster is asking miss Black to come to his office, he wants to have a talk with miss Black." A young house elf appeared next to Christal, she expected this, after all what she had done, there wasn't an other way. The girl stood up, dusted off her pants for no particular reason and followed the elf. The creature in front of her was rather quick, much more than Christal would've thought, so she needed to make her steps longer. She didn't get how this little thing could be so fast.

" Layla brought miss Black, as master asked. Can Layla do anything else?" The little thing in front of Chris started to shake nervously, she knew the feeling. It was something Gray could always do, he did horrid things, so everyone was terrified just thinking about him. He stood there, looking at the elf with disgust. Christal knew the look, he looked at her like that, but not just at Chris, it was everyone in the castle.

"Well hello, what a nice surprise, I'm glad you came miss Black." The man nodded at her, she nodded back looking him right into the eyes. Christal despised this man with her whole Black soul, he was a monster, nobody ever thought differently. It had been just a fact, but nobody did anything to stop him. Chris tried once and it costed her more than she imagined. For that she hated the whole wizard community in this country, for not being there.

"So we'll get right to it. What in the bloody hell did you think? Attacking a boy? And not just any boy, do you know who his parents are miss Black? Have you lost you absolutely lost your mind miss Black?" He shouted, she didn't even flinch. Then he looked like he got shot. Sadly he just realised, that he shouldn't shout this much.

" To get to the point, you are expelled. The boy's parents insist, you also have to write some stupid letter about an apology. " He stopped for a moment. Christal, in the moment, just forbid herself to think about the hell that waited for her at house. She was scared out of her mind just to think about the house itself.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I have some more important things to do. Be here in an hour, don't talk to anyone." He snapped at her and hurried out.

The headmaster had already left, but Christal still sat at the chair and was looking at her hands. There, under her nails, was a little bit of blood. Sh remembered the fight. The boy she attacked was son of the most important people in here. He also seemed to be one of the most evil and stupid boys, she ever met. About an hour ago, he started to tell horrid things about Meredith and Christal herself. She warned him, that she will attack him, if he wouldn't stop. Of course he did not listen, nobody listened to her there. He told her she couldn't do anything, that she is a weak girl, that has no life purpose, then to serve men. She did all she could and she wasn't sorry for it.

The halls were quiet, nobody walked around and her steps echoed in the hall. She quickly got to the dorm, there wasn't chance, she wouldn't get into hell of a trouble, maybe they would even disown her. The panic started to swallow her for a while, then the big doors saved her, when she entered the dorm.

The dorm was blank, for a half of the year now. There wasn't any sign of life, Chris had always packed everything, so the room was just few pieces of furniture. One half of this room wasn't even used, for six months.

Christal hopped in the shower and then changed to her clothes. She had to dress nice or her father would kill her.. She told herself again and again, that she wasn't scared. But she had been, who wouldn't be, when her parents is involved.

When she was in the shower, another wave of rage filled her, that was when she got the idea. Gray practically tortured everyone in this rotten place and Christal had finally had enough. After that one idea, the girl couldn't stop maniacally smiling. She was going to head to the principals office, she probably had gone mad, because that was the only reason she would do anything like this. When she looked at her room, she only saw the bad things he did, so she wanted get revenge even more.

She stormed into the office, knowing, she was struggling with the time. She came up to the desk and opened all of the drawers, she found tons of papers there and started to throw them out. Even after that she wasn't really satisfied, so she knocked down the bookcase, so all of the books fell all around the room. Even that didn't bring enough of satisfaction, so she lit her cigarette and then got the final idea, she held her lighter close to the desk and set it on fire, the next was the library and the final was the door case.

She ran for her life , then stopped, when she arrived to her dorm, the young lady glanced at the clock and gathered her things together. She had almost everything in her suitcases, but only her books and some other records were in the house among with the other stuff. Like their secret box, she thought.

"Hello." After a while, Christal stood in front of the office half-shouting. It wasn't on fire anymore, which meant he was probably around. She stared at the damaged room, this was all her fault, nobody else was involved. All of this was her work and she didn't feel bad. For once she knew, that this was was less than he had deserved, after what he had done, eh would deserve to rot in hell, but Christal had to de something.

"Oh, hello miss, I'm in a hurry, so let's keep this quick, take my hand, we are going to get you home." He walked out of the room and coughed. And then they stood in London, Chris missed it so much, just the smell of this city made her want to jump up and down from joy. It was the nostalgia she only had felt in this city. Even in France, it wasn't the same.

"Well goodbye miss Black." He nodded and Christal nodded back at him, she felt free, he was gone. That meant one maniac less in her life. She looked around, studied the place, so she could find a way home.

Soon she knew exactly where is the house and after ten minutes she stood right in front of it. This house never been a real home to her. Home was supposed to be the place you felt safe at and Chrstal didn't. There were too many bad memories and fear ,that she felt, just by looking at the house.

Chris hurried to the front door and knocked. The house elf opened to her. She didn't have a bad relationship with Creature, but he wasn't her favourite. Thank god he did let her in. She stormed into her room quickly packing, her room was big, but right now, it felt very much empty, because there were only books and her boxes.

After she arrived, anxiety kicked in and she had trouble breathing, so she hurried even more. Then finally the gril was done, there hadn't been a single thing in her room. She levitated it to the nearest fire place and sent it to the one place, she then knew ,she would be visiting very soon. . She stood there in shock, when she heard steps..

Chapter Text

She heard those steps and she knew who it was, she wanted to run, run away, so he couldn't hurt her, but she was too slow. He heart was pounding so crazily and loud, she thought, he would hear it.

"Who is here." He barked out with his rough voice, that made Christal shiver. She started to shake and it was a problem just to stay still. She started to thought about Reggie to calm her self a bit, but it wasn't enough. Her father was dangerous and she knew it.

"Christal?!" He shouted at the poor girl, she stood there as she was from stone, Christal seemed to freeze to the floor.

"What the hell are you doing here?" The man continued the shouting. Christal breathed in and stared at him.

"Here father." She handed him the letter, it was the one, Gray gave her for her parents, he read it and then his face went red. She shook and gave him a ton of glances.

"What the hell Christal Walburga Black, you have to be kidding me! Attacking a boy? What have gotten into you? And getting expelled." He shouted that much, that his veins on neck were showing.

"You know, maybe I shouldn't punish you, you're just a girl right? You simply don't have the brain to be at school anyway, but you didn't behave and I don't care ,if your genes tell you, to be clueless, you are Black!" He yelled, she was scared. Then the doors made another sound. The storm entered.

"Orion, I'm back." She entered the living room seeing her oldest child in the room. Her jaw dropped. It would've been a funny moment if Christal wasn't out of her mind with fear.

"For merlin's sake, what are you doing here?" She whispered with hatred, Christal started to look pale now.

" Oh dear, she attacked a boy, she is expelled from Durmstrang and had the audacity to come here and act like everything is alright. Can you believe it?" He walked around his wife, the whole time slyly grinning .

"Christal Walburga Black! What happened? Are you crazy? We have a reputation to uphold! We are The Noble Most Ancient House of Black for Merlin's sake!" Walburga screamed and Christal felt the anger, hurt and probably tiredness coming back. She had enough of their bullshit, so she straightened her posture and looked into her mother's eyes. Right when she was saying it, she felt her inner voice saying "Don't say it I am begging you, please don't. Of course she didn't listen to her inner voice, because this was a hell of a day and she just wanted to go to bed.

"I had enough of this. I'm going to say this only once, mother. You, father or me, we are just people, our blood doesn't matter, not really. You are a horrible mother an-"

"CRUCIO!" Those were the last words she had heard.

After some time, Christal found herself lying on the street, she had no idea how she got there, but had idea, that her mother had something to do with it. That only told her, that she is really disowned. Probably everyone is receiving a letter from mother, that she isn't a Black anymore.

"Expecto Patronum." The bear appeared in front of her.

"Tom, hello, I'm in trouble. I'm in front of the house. Come here as soon as possible." She sent it and then passed out.

"Hey kid." Tom from Leaky Cauldron. He was there, he was going to get her to the hospital. She gave him a silent nod and her lips formed into a smile. The girl was grateful, that Tom came.

"What happened huh?" He asked with a scared look. She pointed to the house faintly as a response. The man's face filled with hatred and anger.

"I hate them, I'd kill, them if I were you. " He spitted out through his teeth. Christal just wanted to go to the hospital, she needed to get fixed.

"As much as I love the idea of them dying, I have to take a rain check, the one thing I want, is to go to the hospital." Chris sighed heavily as she felt the pain in her stomach raising.

"Yeah, of course let's go, I forgot. Sorry kid." Tom picked her up as she was a feather and carried her then the apparated to saint Mungo's.

"Hello? Yes I have pretty urgent case here. This is Christal Black, I found her like this." Tom started to walk around the hospital, trying to find someone, that would help him.

"Yes sir take her here before I change my mind." Some doctor said, she sounded pretty angry, so Tom hurried to pick up Chris, that was sort of sitting in the waiting room.

"Let's go kiddo, I'll buy you an ice cream afterwards." He squeezed her hand to give her some comfort. She never been so grateful for him before. He was always like her dad, the loving one, he actually cared for her.

"Mighty what did they do to you?" The doctor looked freaked out now.

"Sir? Could you please leave us alone, I'll let you know, when you can come back." The darker skinned woman told to Tom. He simply nodded and quickly left the room.

"Now honey, I'll ask you some questions alright?" She glanced at the poor girl, lying on the bed.

"Oh, sure." Chris sighed and stared at the woman.

"Are your parents doing something to you, sweetheart?" She asked right away, not making any eye contact.

"Straight to the point huh?" Chris chuckled roughly at the question. Could she say yes. The things they were doing to her. Was it abuse? She thought so, yes. But could it be described in only one word, so big part of her life? She wasn't sure.

"Look, I'm not going to tell anyone, but I've been through it. I'm from a pureblood family too. They abused me too, when I was sixteen and I dated a muggle-born boy." The doctor locked with her eyes now and Christal started to get uncomfortable.

"I guess you could say, that they have hurt me since I was nine years old...." She muttered after a few moments. The doctor sighed and looked like she had trouble staying calm.

"Nine? Bloody nine years old and those horrid people hurt you? I'm sorry. I'm just so sorry." They fell in quiet for a while. The woman worked on the girl's body and Chris, thought about something.

"They disowned me." She whispered so quietly, that doctor almost didn't hear.

"Those psychos, they all are." The doctor mumbled under her breath.

"So it was worse today, they used many hexes , but the crucio was there too." Chris added and stared ar her hands, embarrassed.

"I bloody hate them already." Christal giggled at the response, the woman gave her.

"I'm not a big fan of them either" Then the room went quiet.

After a few minutes the doctor was done, she said, that Chris can go "home", but must be put on bedrest for today. Tomorrow she can slowly walk, not run. Tom said he would take care of her.

"I think I'll put it on your father."

"What?"

"Your stay, kiddo."

"Right."

" You fancy ice cream."

"Let's go oldie." She smirked.

"I'm not even in my 40s missy." He grinned at her. He payed for the ice cream and they ate it in silence.

"You want to talk about it?"

"Not a chance."

Even though she didn't want to talk about it with Tom, she felt the need to say those words.

"I'm not a Black anymore, I'm free." Was the only thing she said before leaving to her room. Tom got it pretty quickly and simply nodded, just once.

Her room smelled nice and the bed looked so good, so she took bath and laid there. She thought about happy families, if those existed and why her parents are the beasts they are. Tom brought a dinner to her bad. She was happy she had him, he was her sudo-parent, even though they didn't do feelings, he was close to her.

Flashback:

Eleven years old Chris came to the Leaky Cauldron, her father paid, so she could live there the whole summer, because the other kids were home and she was no good with Sirius. So they sent her here, she walked to the counter, some man stood behind it and was smiling, She didn't feel like smiling, so it only annoyed her.

"Hello, I have a reservation on a name Black here. Plus I'd like to get some alcohol." she told the man.

"Heres is your key, but I'm not allowed to serve minors, sorry." The man told the girl, she rolled her eyes at this.

"It's not like you're my father, I won't tell anyone." She tried.

"Still no." He shook his head.

" Do you want to talk about it?" He asked then.

"Not a chance." She snapped.

"I'm Tom by the way."

"I'm Christal." She shook his had, smiling.

End of flashback

Chapter Text

"So are you going to tell me, why in the love of god did you need me to wake you up in this unholy hour?" Tom asked Christal, after waking her up. She asked him, to do it yesterday, before she gone to sleep.

" Well, I need to go take care of something." She shrugged carelessly, like it was not big deal. She was in fact going to Hogwarts, she sent a letter yesterday to Dumbledore and now she needed to come. If she wants to end her fourth year, she needed to do the exams, which led to her need to get to Hogwarts.

"It's a bloody miracle you're even up, kiddo, I wouldn't expect you to be." He smirked at her and walked to the door.

"Sod off." She threw a boot at him, they had this parent-friend relation ship, which made Christal very comfortable sound him.

"Missed." He exclaimed and left, he still smirked.

Chris sighed and got out of the bed. She quickly showered and then put on a nice dress from yesterday, that was almost magically clean. She reminded herself to thank Tom afterwards. She put on mascara and few others make-up products, so she wouldn't look so tired.

"Good morning, pancakes are ready come sit." Tom waved at her from the counter. She sat at one of the bar stools.

"Hey, thanks." She pointed at the dress, thanking the man. He waved his hand to signal ,it was no big deal.

"So where are you going, really?" He asked.

"To Hogwarts, I scheduled an appointment with Dumbledore at five o'clock in the afternoon." Chris told him in between taking bites.

"Oh right, but that isn't for another eight or seven hours." Tom raised an eyebrow at the girl.

"Ihavesibilingsthere, wedidntseeeachotherforalmostfiveyears." She muttered looking on her plate.

"Oh, so I'll wait for you with dinner." He smiled and squeezed her hand. She smiled back.

"Yeah, thanks." She finished the meal and quietly used the fire place of the Leaky Cauldron.

Christal in fact hated to travel with floo powder, but if she didn't have license to apparate, she didn't have a choice. When she arrived to Hogsmeade, the girl started to quickly looking for someone to tell her, where the school is.

"Hello. Could you possibly lead me to Hogwarts, I have an appointment there." Chris told some boy that stood in front of her, he was looking like he waited fro someone.

"Oh sure thing, I'm James Potter by the way." He held his hand to shake. Christal thankfully shook it.

"So you'll be a new student?" James asked the girl. She glared at him, he had very friendly nature. She almost thought like she shouldn't trust him, he was too nice and friendly. But the way the young man acted, she trusted him. Maybe it was a horrible mistake, but she liked him.

"I'd like to be, but who knows." She formed her lips into a smile. They walked in comfortable silence fro a while.

"Well, I'm going to leave you now. Here is the entrance and there is Filch." He told her.

"And on that note bye." The boy smirked and ran off. Christal shook her head looking after the wild-haired boy.

"What do you want?" The old man asked. He looked scary, he was frowning and talked in an annoyed voice. She fought the urge to roll her eyes or snap at him.

"I have an appointment with Dumbledore at five, I just wanted to visit my brothers. I'm Christal Black." Chris spoke clearly and stared into the man's eyes. He sent a note to Dumbledore and they waited in quiet.

"Well hello Argus, I see you met Christal already, oh yes let her in please. Hello miss Black. I though I didn't expect you for another few hours." Dumbledore arrived and Filch opened to the poor girl. She nodded at Dumbledore as an greeting.

"Why yes ,I'm going to visit my brothers, I didn't see them for a while, you know mister." Chris explained it to Dumbledore He nodded and she felt like he knew exactly ,she was going to be here.

"Oh yes I'm afraid, that you won't find Sirius though, he is usually nowhere to be found with his friends." The headmaster's eyes were sparkling. Christal nodded once again and walked into the castle, she dusted of her skirt, it was a habit from the times when she was little, her parents didn't like, when she had her clothes dirty. So she always did this and it sticked.

She had been walking for quite some time, but she didn't exactly mind, she thought about Regulus. He was always more of her's than Sirius's, not that he didn't love Sirius, but Chris just listened to him more and that was what he needed. They had been so close and Christal missed him, but when he didn't respond to her letters, she stopped trying to talk to him. Maybe he was better off, she thought.

The castle was quiet and quite cool too even it was almost summer, she started to shiver. Christal
admired the architecture, the whole castle was built so nicely.

"Hello, could you possibly help me?" She shouted at some girl that was walking in front of her. Her platinum blonde hair was curling down to her waist, her dress was hugging tightly her skinny yet feminine body. Somehow she was familiar.

"Yes-Chrissy?" The gril turned around and when she saw Chris she gasped. Chris gasped too, it was her cousin. The girl that stood there was Narcissa Black, her youngest cousin. She was in sixth year now.

"CISSY!" She screamed and ran to hug her cousin, then in the hug she realised, that she probably shouldn't, Narcissa sure to hell already gotten the letter. But against her expectations, the older girl hugged her back tightly.

"I was worried about you Chrissy, I got the letter, she said, she punished you well enough. I was scared, that she killed you. Oh my god, are you okay." Narcissa whispered and squeezed Christal tighter.

"I almost am, but if I didn't go to the hospital I would be dead by now." The younger girl sighed realising this possibility too, being even more grateful to Tom, that he saved her.

"Let me get you to the Slytherin Common Room, Andy will like to hear it too." Narcissa took her cousin's hand and led her to the dungeons.

"Oh sure, but I'd like to talk to Reggie alone." Chris followed her cousin. She remembered the afternoons they spent together all six of them, Bella was always bit of an outsider, she didn't like to play and she and Sirius fought all the time.

"Yes of course, he missed you, he was crushed, when they sent you away." Narcissa mentioned, trying not to look too suspicious. Christal rolled her eyes at this behaviour, but she got more worried about Reg.

"I missed him so much, he's the sunshine in this bloomy world."She muttered more to herself than to the girl next to her. Narcissa spotted, that her cousin was in trance. She just smiled and started to walk even quicker.

"So, where were you headed before I met you?" Chris asked Narcissa, not wanting to be a burden. She was so thrilled to see her family, that she didn't think about their plans for this day.

"It doesn't matter now Chrissy, I didn't see you for five years, I really don't mind not meeting my friends, that I see everyday. You're more important." Narcissa recognised that was going inside of her cousin's head and quickly made her worries go away.

"Okay that's good, because it's really nice to see you." Christal felt, how the smile crawled on to her face and she didn't fight it, it was nice, smiling again.

"Hey, you are smiling." The older girl said and smirked at her younger cousin, she was so happy to see, that her little Chrissy smiled.

"Piss off." She mumbled, blushed and elbowed Narcissa. The blonde girl kept walking, until they reached. They walked through the wall, after telling it the password. The Slytherin Common Room was everything and more, than the dark haired girl could imagine. it was all toned in dark green, the sofas, the armchairs, the lamps even the wall. Her heart ached, when she remembered, that she thought this was going to be her future too.

"Well, you need to tell me what happened, really. Auntie Walburga isn't exactly sharing kind of a person." Christal chuckled at the word auntie, Cissy was always too polite, her mother wasn't auntie, she wasn't even a proper mother. She just knew, how to manipulate the people around her.

"What?" The response confused Narcissa. She clearly didn't see anything really weird about calling Walburga auntie.

"It's just that you called her auntie, I can't picture my mother being an auntie, it's weird." Chris shrugged, still smirking a bit.

"Well where is our dearest Andy?" Christal asked then. Narcissa tensed up a bit and looked around, like somebody was watching her.

"Let's take this to my room Chrissy, will you." She apologetically grinned and quickly gone up the stairs, to the girl's dorm.

"Oh my god Christal Walburga Black, I'm going to kill you we were so worried, I'm sending owls to Sirius right now." Andromeda was sitting in the room and she looked pretty angry.

"I'm so sorry, I just needed to go to the hospital first, you know, to get fixed." Chris chuckled nervously, not knowing what to do, she saw her family and they were all worried for her, but they never sent any letters. Not that she expected to get a letter every week, telling her all the gossip, but some would be nice.

"So you got a letter too huh." Chris asked Andromeda. Narcissa tensed up a bit more and looked at Andromeda, clearly freaking out.

"No, of course not, I'm disowned, you remember?" Andromeda laughed nervously, Chris's jaw dropped. Andy was disowned too, how come she didn't know.

"They didn't tell you or write you the letter?" Andromeda figured out.

"I guess they forgot about me." Christal mumbled, even though she couldn't believe it, it was her mother they were talking about, she never forgot, to sent another letter telling her about how Christal was a horrible daughter. Maybe she already took her as a disowned person.

"Looks like it, doesn't it."Andromeda chuckled.

"Well welcome to the club, we can start one." Andy nudged Chris, Christal forced a smile. She still couldn't wrap her mind about the disownment. How come they didn't write about it to her, did they really forget all together about her? She tried to make the thought go away, but she didn't succeed.

"So tell me, Andy, how come you aren't a Black?" Chris asked her older cousin and locked her eyes with the girl. Narcissa started to look nervously around and tapped her hand in quick rhythm.

"Come on, fill me in." Chris added, when nobody seemed to care to answer. The sisters shared a look.

"Well I'm dating a muggle-born, Ted Tonks, he is perfect, I can't wait for you to meet him. Anyways, I'm dating him and somebody decided it was a good idea to tell my parents. So I ended up like this. Only Sirius talks to me, Cissy and I made up this morning and only because of you." Andromeda explained while staring at her sister, to see her reaction. Christal was right and really picked up on something, which didn't make her happy, but sort of relieved, that she knew, what was going on.

"But let's talk about why are you here." Andromeda changed the subject quickly.

"Well I attacked a boy, I did some hard damage and I already had some troubles on my name, so they weren't as gentle with me." Chris shrugged, she didn't desire talking about it more. There wasn't anything else to add to it.

"Oh and they just disowned you for that?" Andromeda asked, not believing it, they put up with a lot, just to make their kids horrible.

"Plus I've talked back." Chris whispered and glanced out of the window. not being able to hold eye contact.

"Bloody hell, that sucks." Andy sighed and glanced out of the window too, hugging Christal. It was quite funny picture, the three cousins all staring out of one window, rethinking their whole life.

Chapter Text

Christal got out of Narcissa's room, five minutes after their conversation about disappointing the family by attacking the boy. Andromeda accompanied her, because they were indeed kicked out, Narcissa told them, that she has a headache and she will try to get some sleep. Both, Andromeda and Christal, thought this was rubbish, Cissy seemed fine even ten minutes ago, she probably just wanted some alone time or she didn't want to see them anymore.

Andromeda headed to her dorm and Chris blindly followed her, she was somewhere in her inner thoughts. She felt like in a trans, also she feared of meeting her brothers, of course, because of different reasons. Regulus, she felt like he was pissed at her. Sirius, she was angry with him.

"I'm sorry, it's not because of you. She didn't want me there, she got out of her shock, that came with he letter , but now she won't speak to me again, when she knows where you are." Andromeda's lips were curled in a sad smile, while she was opening the door of her room.

"If it is that, she won't talk to me either, I got disowned and were my mistakes, that got me there. I shouted at my mother for Merlin's sake." Christal told Andromeda, she got very sensitive around this girl, there was something soothing about her, that Chris couldn't quite explain, you would have to feel it.

"Maybe, but it's okay. And just so you know, Reg won't do this to you, if that's what you're thinking." Andy got worried about her little cousin, she didn't want her to worry. Regulus wasn't Narcissa and Andromeda needed Christal to know that.

"I hope so. Anyway, I'm going to head out. I need to find him." Christal stood up and walked tp the door.

"Sure, he is in his room, the name is on it." Andromeda called after her little cousin. Chris just smiled in return. She walked up to the boy's room section and looked of her brother's name on the door. After only few moments she found it, she was scared to knock on it, all of her courage and braveness leaving her body. This was family, she couldn't mess this up, this was about other people too. Finally she brought her self to knock.

"Yes." Somebody answered, so she walked in. Sitting on the bed, it was her brother.

"Christal." He whispered and his jaw dropped. He looked more mature than she remember, which of course wasn't a surprise. He was taller than her, which was new, but his hair curled the same way down to his neck as it always had.

"Reggie." Chris felt her heart ache, this was her little brother, her favorite person in the entire world. It wasn't the person she feared to talk to, it was him, the sweet ,shy and kind Reggie. He got up and they both stared at each other, too busy with feeling. They both thought about the same thing, but after a while, Christal did it, she hugged him. The last time she hugged him was the day before her parents decided she will go away. He was scared. Now he stood in front of her and she couldn't quite recognise him.

"What are you doing here?" He asked studying his sister.

"I think you know. They disowned me because of my scandal at Durmstrang. So I am in fact looking for a new school." Regulus looked nervously around and Christal finally got it. He didn't want anyone to see her and his roommates would probably arrive every minute.

"You know what Regulus, I'm too tired to pretend, that I didn't spot, that you don't want to see me. And I get it okay? But the last thing I want is to pretend everything is fine. Because nothing is bloody fine and it hasn't been for a long time. The people we live with are maniacs and they literally nearly killed me. I haven't seen any of my relatives for five years. I have seen horrible things at Durmstrang. I stayed at a hotel for two months every year, just because our idiot brother did something and he decided to tell our parents I did it. I have literally no home and I'm tired. I have no bloody energy for pretending. I'm glad, I got to see you , because you are my favourite person in this entire weird, sad world. And it just hurts , that you never wrote me back. I sent you even some gifts, that I bought from the money, I saved up from a job I did. And I just want for everything to be great for me and maybe that's selfish, but I think I have a right to be selfish right now." Christal shouted and her voice echoed because of the ceiling. Regulus Black was shocked, but he still managed to look somehow calm. Christal wanted to cry and hurt her self, just for shouting at him, he was still a boy. She reckoned in her mind he always will be just a boy, which was just the way it was supposed to be.

"Alright let's go to the library." Regulus breathed in and out.

"Why?" Christal asked him, she was confused.

"Because it will maybe stop you from shouting at me again." Regulus shrugged.

"Very funny, I think we should stay here, where nobody can see me right?"She snapped snarkily.

"Well actually..." Regulus started to scratch his neck.

"Hello love, you know, you are really gorgeous. Are you a Veela? " Some boy came out of the bathroom. He was blonde and a little bit shorter than Reggie.

"And who the hell are you. "

"Not with my sister you prick." The two said unison.

"Wow I can just smell how popular I am here. So to answer your question. I am Barty Crouch, junior." The boy sent Christal a quick wink. She raised an eyebrow at him, he was in third year for god's sake.

"Stop you tosser, I know you like everything that has a pulse to flirt with, but this is my sister. So you won't even look at her, you understand me Bartemius? I don't need you to flirt with my sister. Plus we both know, you wouldn't go anywhere further, you never do." Regulus told the boy through his gritted teeth.

"Yeah okay I get it, no flirting with her. Not so difficult, plus I don't flirt with everybody, I never flirted with you. Yes and I'm hurt, you called me Bartemius, that is my father. " Barty shrugged while jumping into his bed.

"That's because I would hex you to death. And right now I don't care for your feelings, so be hurt if you please." Regulus stared at the other boy, it was apparent, that this wasn't their first conversation like this.

"Alright, now Christal let's go or we won't discuss anything in front of this..." Regulus shot another look at Barty and then left.

"Bye Regulus!Don't forget to be back for lunch in Great hall, plus if you'll see Rosier, tell him, that I need my money from the bet, that idiot lost a bet and doesn't have the money. " Barty shouted after the black haired boy.

"I hate you Crouch."

" You love me and you know it, Black." Was the only answer.

"I'm so sorry, he is just a little too comfortable around everyone. He simply doesn't know when to shut up." Regulus apologised to his sister, knowing ,that Barty can be too much for people.

"Oh please don't be, this was the most funny interaction I got in a half of a year. He's nice, a little crazy but nice, I think I like him. And if he is a good friend to you, then he is one of my favourites." Christal chuckled, she truly wasn't sorry she met this boy, he was fun, even though she didn't want him to flirt with her ever again.

"Well yes, he is my friend, one of the best actually, but I have a friend, that I need you to meet." Regulus smiled and sort of eased.

"I'd love to meet the friend." Christal returned the smile.

"Okay, then we have to go to the library, she said she'll be there. And it's quite long walk, so we can talk about this. Or I'll talk to explain some things up for you. Firstly I'm not scared, that anyone will snitch on me, I can talk with whoever I want , because nobody pays attention to me. Mistake everyone does. Secondly I never got any letters from you and I didn't want to be a burden on you, I sort of knew what was happening then. Sirius acted so normal then, I wanted to punch him, which is another story. He acted so cold towards me, because he knew, I would do anything to have you back and even though I didn't want to lose him, like ever, I started to avoid him, he got you to Durmstrang, parents didn't buy any of us owls till our first years, so I got one three years ago. Then I sent you a letter. It was rather short, because I sort of knew, that they wouldn't let you have mail so easily, because parents were talking about it late at night, then I saw them burning some letters and I knew they were from you. So I went up and Sirius was already asleep. I was so angry, so I cut his hair, he thought mother did it, but it was me. Mother just sent him to get it done more nicely and when he went I took all of his decor from his room, They fought, because he thought mother did it, but it was all me. I'm happy ,that you are here Chris, I missed you." Regulus whispered the last sentence and found his sister as she was smiling at him. She hugged him tightly, wanting the ugliness to go away.

"I'll get you out once, Reggie, I promise." She whispered into the boys shoulder and Regulus just nodded, wishing it was true.

"Okay let's go meet your friend. what's her name?" Christal asked, walking towards. Regulus glanced at her and laughed.

"Her name is Pandora Rosier, she is my best friend, she is more like a family." Regulus answered and put his hands in his pockets.

"Oh okay, so she is from Rosier family huh? But she doesn't subscribe to that crap, right? I mean it's okay if she does, if she is your friend, but-"Christal started to talk quickly.

"No, you wouldn't find a kinder soul, than her's. She is great, I think you'll love her, Let's go." Regulus stopped Christal in her overthinking, she thankfully smiled at him, knowing he understood her.

"Alright, let's go, I cannot wait to meet her. Lead the way mister." Chris told Regulus and followed him into the heart of the castle. They passed by a lots of students. There were girls, that looked just like from some magazine, there were boys, that were soaking from sweat after their quidditch practise. They saw even two teachers, Regulus of course greeted them, the moment he saw them. Christal shook her head at the fact, that this is her brother.

"What? They're my teachers, I have to greet them. It's a rule." Reg rolled his eyes at his sister, when he saw her reaction.

"And who would you be, if you didn't follow the rules?" Christal chuckled and waited for her brother's response, it didn't come. So they walked for another four minutes, until they stood inront of the library. Regulus didn't look, like he was coming in.

"So are we coming in? Or will we stay here until your friend senses our aura and will come here?" Christal smirked at her own little joke and glanced at Regulus, he was looking very serious.

"Just watch." He whispered and stared into the library, some girl came outside of it and waved at Regulus.

"Bloody hell, how did she know, what? This is scary." Christal was out of her mind, Regulus's friend really found them.

"Oh, hi Reg, I didn't know you had company, but you were searching for me, weren't you?" The girl's skin was tan and her almost white hair curled it's way down to her waist. Her eyes reminded Christal of ocean. The girl smelled like lavender and even had a few flowers in her hand.

"Hi Pandora, this is my sister Christal, I wanted you to meet her. She is finally back, I hope." Regulus smiled at Pandora, who now studied Christal.

"Nice to meet you, Regulus told me a lot about you." Her lips formed in a smile and she hugged Christal.

"Nice to meet you too ,Pandora." Chris smiled back, shocked the girl just hugged her.

"Well I see you need to do a lot of catching up and I need to find some of these flowers, so we'll see each other at lunch?" The girl asked, when she sensed, all of the untold between the siblings.

"Sure, take care. Bye." Regulus nodded and Pandora just waved at them and walked off.

"So..... you want to tell me exactly what happened at our parents's and why?" Regulus asked his sister.

"Sure."

Notes:

Hello people, I am back with another chapter. I hope you liked it, because I had such a fun time writing it. Of course there was so much editing in this chapter, because I need their meeting to be as good as it can be. I love Christal and Regulus, like their relationship is probably my favourite from this whole fan fiction. Well I hope you liked this chapter and you'll have a wonderful day, byeeee!

Chapter Text

"So let me get this straight, you fought with very important boy, you set your headmaster's office on fire. Screamed at mother, got nearly killed, was at hospital, Tom saved you and you are now searching for a open spot in Hogwarts. I think, you have an interesting life Chris."Regulus grinned at his sister in amusement. Of course he thought, it was stupid to do these things, but also it must've felt good, not to pretend, he couldn't get her words out of his mind.

"Yes I do. Now exactly, where are you taking me?" She asked, they were walking for the psat half an hour and they got somewhere very high.

"There is Gryffindor tower and one Black is living there." Regulus smiled at his sister forcefully, fully expecting the storm, he knew, was to come.

"Reggie, I care about him , but I can't see him. He has done too much, I don't want to see him." The girl whispered, tearing up a little. God, how much she didn't want to see her twin, he meant so much to her, yet he wasn't anyone at all. She was scared to see him.

"You can't avoid it forever Christal, you know he changed, he isn't a kid anymore, maybe he wouldn't do it now. You two need to talk. I don't want to talk about everything I saw for these past years, but I will, one day, when are the circumstances right." Regulus sighed, he was worried about his sister. He gave himself a promise, that if Sirius will hurt her one more time, he will do more to destroy him.

"Reggie, you are the most precious boy ever, you know that? I know we need to care of it, so I'll put on my big girl shoes, but I need you to know, it might not end so great. Last time we spoke was horrible." Christal patted the younger boy on his back, she was proud of how grown up he was. She always knew that she would be. But let's just say, she would be almost always proud of him for something.

"I am going to go Christal, I hope it ends up great." Regulus smiled softly at his sister and walked away leaving his older sister, that almost fell apart, standing in the middle of the hall.

Christal stood in front of the picture, that led to common room and she, of course, didn't know the password, so she decided to wait. Ten minutes passed by and finally she saw four guys walking towards her, two of them she felt, like she knew. Then, as they got closer, she recognised her brother. Her jaw dropped, this was her brother, her twin. He talked to one of his mates, when he recognised her and fully stopped moving. Staring at the girl.

"Sirius, mate what is going on?" One of the guys asked and it was the boy, she met in Hogsmead, she quickly nodded at him and he returned the gesture quickly and sharply.

"Waiiiit, is this Christal?" James asked, sort of getting the situation now. He heard of Sirius' s twin, but nothing much, it had been the one thing he and Sirius couldn't talk about. The boy hated to talk about it, it made him so angry, that James just stopped asking.

"Yes, yes I am. Nice to see you again Potter, makes me emotional." Christal chuckled at the boy's response. Then she returned to Sirius, he was still looking at her, straight at her.

"Christal...." He only whispered so quietly, so Chris almost couldn't hear it. He looked shocked, for that matter he probably was shocked. He also grew up, his hair was long as it always had been and he had muscular body now less fragile than Regulus's. This was her twin, she felt sad, that she didn't sense him coming, shouldn't she be able to do that? These questions were running through her head, while she stared at her brother.

"Hi." She sighed out and let out the breath, she didn't even know she was holding. She missed Regulus, but with Sirius, there was every emotion imaginable possible. She loved him and hated him, there wasn't anything she didn't feel about this young man.

"Hiya." He nodded at her not even appearing to be in the same world.

"So you're Christal, the mysterious twin of Padfoot huh?" Some boy with scars asked Christal and she nodded. That's how he has been referring to her, mysterious twin? She felt weirded out by that, she wasn't a mystery.

"I am so happy to finally meet you, I'm Remus Lupin." The boy shook her hand. She ,sort of in a trans, returned the shook and glanced back at her twin.

"So you're back?" He asked, he was finally in the reality.

"Yes, just not in the family anymore, they disowned me, but I'm sure you got the letter by now. Andy, Cissy and Reggie already did." Christal coldly said, she reminded herself, that this was still Sirius, the one who betrayed her.

"Funny, you still call them that, we stopped calling each other nicknames like two years ago, too old for them you know. " He chuckled ironically, there was something wrong about this. Christal fought the urge to hit the boy. She would've known if he didn't ruin it five years ago.

"Well yes, I didn't see any of you for bloody five years, so I have to catch up with you. You know, there isn't any contact with the outside world in Durmstrang, if it was, I am sure you would write right?" Chris snapped at her twin loudly, this wasn't how it was supposed to be, but it had been like that.

"Oh sure my owl wouldn't even be able to carry them, from how much I'd wrote." He gave her a sarcastic smirk, she returned it in the most aggressive way she could've.

"Mind joining us for a tea?" Remus chipped in, when he sensed the tension.

"That would be lovely, thank you Remus, but-"

"But what, you have to attack another boy or what?" Sirius didn't let her finish the sentence, the hurt in his eyes was so obvious it hurt. Christal needed to take a second to calm herself at least a little. She thought if she should say something back and after seeing Sirius's face she almost didn't. Then something broke inside of her and she decided, that she in fact will speak back.

"Why, are you planning to do another rubbish thing you douchebag?" She hissed at him slowly getting more and more irritated by him.

"Oh yes right after choosing between two of my siblings. One of them has to feel like rubbish. " He shouted at her.

"You wouldn't choose neither of us, you'd choose yourself in every scenario, because you're too selfish to think about anyone else, you prick." She yelled back. James, Remus and the third one stood there, obviously shocked by this interaction.

"Chris, I thought, I heard you." Regulus sort of ran over there, looking shocked. Sirius rolled his eyes.

"Perfect, what are you doing here, aren't you supposed to be perfect little son and stay away from big bad Sirius and especially Chris here?" Sirius mocked him, not stopping from his wind.

"Hello brother, nice to see you too. I actually can do whatever I want, because I'm not that stupid to get caught." The second boy told his brother.

"Oh please stop it, you're such a goody shoes." Sirius said disgusted.

"Stop Sirius, you're mad at me, don't take it out on him, I mean it, don't give me a reason to do something bad, one reason." She told him though her teeth.

"Of course you're against the bad, bad Sirius. Again. But I'm not the one who is disowned Chrissy. It's you." He turned around and among his friends left, then he gave her more death stare over his shoulder, Christal, fro the first time, returned it.

"So, you didn't exactly make up, did you?" Regulus offered Chris a little smile. She returned it widely and shook her head.

"I don't know what are you talking about, baby brother. I think everything was great. I mean no shouting and bringing up the past, very successful meeting my brother, yes." She mumbled. The thing was, she wasn't surprised, that it happened like this. It had always been like this between her and Sirius, at least after the first thing, until then they were almost inseparable, them three against the world or their parents, who even knew.

"I am truly sorry, Chris, but maybe it's for the better, you and him don't talk anymore. He is somebody completely different than he was five years ago. I don't know if you noticed, but even we don't talk anymore. In the past year I talked to him about two times, both of them at home. I'm his last choice." Regulus burned the floor with his eyes, trying not to look at his sister.

"Hey, what is going on Reggie? You know, I'm not mad at you, right? It's completely not your fault, alright? This is between me and him, we did so many mistakes and we aren't ready to discuss them yet. I reckon we once will, but it's not for you, to worry about, understand me?" Christal asked her little brother, it was like she could read his mind in this. Regulus still hadn't looked up at her, but he was surprised, how she could read him that easily.

"No I shouldn't have send you there, it was stupid. I'm sorry, I hoped it would resolve and that was very silly. I apologise Christal." Christal took his head in her hands, to force him to look at her.

"Reggie, it was wise and sensible to do it, which is exactly what you are, do not ever apologise for that. I needed to do it ,it would've been even worse, if I would've waited." The girl still smiled. Regulus just hugged her and she squeezed him even tighter, not wanting to ever let him go.

"I missed you." He whispered into the hug.

"You have no idea, Reg." She returned resting her head on his shoulder.

"So, what are we doing now?" Christal asked.

"Well I sort have a practice, for quidditch you know, I probably could get out.." He tensed up uncomfortably.

"I don't mind you going Reggie, I'm not leaving ever again, you know?" She gave him a look filled with the sort of motherly love, she always had for him.

"I don't want you to think, I don't want to spend my time with you." He told her, fearing their time together will get lost.

"Regulus Acturus Black, you will go there, I am ordering you, not asking you.Go!" She playfully yelled at her brother and clapped her hands, to signalise he should run. He chuckled and ran off to the pitch.

"So alone huh?" James Potter appeared behind her, when she watched Reg running away.

"Guess so, Potter. What are you doing here by the way?" She said, still not facing him, and still stared at the little person, Reg had became. Then she finally turned around.

"I just felt bad, that you and Sirius fought, he told me about you. I think he' s sorry you had a fight, he just sometimes doesn't think." James Potter stuffed his hands in his pockets, staring over Christal's shoulder. She snapped her fingers to get his attention.

"Yes, well too bad right? I still don't get ,why are you here instead of him though." She smirked at him unhappily, this was her brother's mess to clean up, not James Potter's

"What?" He got confused.

"I just don't get why are you here instead of my darling brother, he screwed up, not you, Potter." Christal told him .

"Call me James, everyone does. " They boy said smiling.

"Okay, but you didn't answer my question. We will get back to it, don't even worry." Chris chuckled at the boys smile. He was sweet and pretty polite too.

"Well, you know I am sorry you had a fight and you seem be pretty, you know, okay, so I went to check up on you." James shrugged at it was no big deal. It had surprised Christal, so she only gave him a soft smile and looked out of the nearest window.

"So you're Sirius's sister." He whispered after a few moments.

" Yes among other things, that I would say are more important." She grinned at the black haired boy. He was glad he got along with Sirius's twin, because he could now make the situation better for both of them.

"So where are you going after the end of year?" James asked, it didn't occur to him before, that Christal was practically homeless, because of the kicking out situation.

"God start with something like what's your favourite colour. But I'm free girl, James, I can go wherever I want, because who the hell will stop me,. At the same time I don't even have a fucking home. So I have pretty much no idea, but there is some time left to think. I always thought of something, so I am not worried. Right now I'm focusing on Regulus and to get me going, you know?" She glanced at the end to the messy haired boy, he stared at her and nodded along her words.

"I know this sound sudden, but if you don't have anything you can always come to mine. My parents wouldn't mind, we would adopt Sirius, if we could, he's like my brother. We have to keep you safe." The boy expected Christal to react, well, not happily. She instead smiled at him, honestly it made her feel a little bit more safe. Of course she could stay at Leaky Cauldron, but she didn't want to make Tom some problems because of one room and with her parents, who could come there anytime. Living with Potters could make her get going.

"Thank you, if I'm rotting on some street, I will remember that, now get back to my brother, I'd say he is missing you." Christal nudged James Potter and watched ,how he ran away, then shook her head. How was anyone this nice?

Notes:

Hello. I am so so sorry I had to do this to Sirius, they have a lot of weird stuff between them, that he has to be a little bit of a prick to her, that's just the way it goes. It's nothing personal I love our little dog. Anyways thank you for reading another part, I am so grateful, that you are actually reading this. Bye!

Chapter 6: 6: Betting on their love.

Chapter Text

Christal decided, that because her meeting with Dumbledore wasn't for quite some time, she will go look around the castle a little bit more. Before she was ten, she studied Hogwarts into the depth, she knew everything about this school, that she could read. Then Sirius screwed up again and she took the punishment.

It was hard to believe she was once going to attend this school but after all, maybe this was always her destiny, to have this life she was living right now. After those thoughts, she really needed a fag.

She wondered around the castle, when she got to the library and after all, that is probably the best solution, because nobody probably sold the fags here. There had been some illegal trades in Durmstrang going on, but not here, here it was different. They didn't do even half of the horrid things.

She walked in to the fiction aisle, she was fascinated by the stories of muggle books, she discovered them, when she was seven, when they were in France again, her aunt gave her a few, so she read them and there it started, then she got Regulus into them and he had been almost obsessed, there was something about him and all types of art, that just were too blend.

She picked up some new novel from Stephen King. She sat in the nearest armchair and started to read. Some red-haired girl sat next to her about thirty minutes after, Christal nodded at he , the girl quickly nodded back and got into her own reading.

When it was around the time of lunch, both of the girls got up.

"I don't know you, which house are you?" The girl asked Christal, she was polite and quiet, both of those things Christal liked in people, it had reminded her of Reggie. Of all the afternoons that were spend in her room, when the two of them read books or listened to classical music, she didn't very much like it, but it was Reg's favourite.

"I don't go here, I want to, because right now I'm in between schools, so wish me luck, because I really bloody need this." The dark- haired girl grinned at the ginger.

"Sure I will." The girl returned Christal's grin.

"Oh my god, I have just realised. I haven't even told you my name. I'm Lily Evans a fourth year, Gryffindor." Lily seems like really great person, so Christal formed her lips into a smile, which wasn't anything, that you could see everyday.

"Nice to meet you Lily, I'm Christal." She chuckled and shook Lily Evans's hand.

"So, would you fancy a company on your way to lunch or do you have to meet someone now?" Lily asked hoping the girl would accept her offer. This girl seemed interesting, maybe she could even be Lily's friend. Either way, she was sympathetic to Lily.

"Oh, well I don't even know if I am allowed to have lunch here Lily, since I am not a student here, plus my brother should be back from his practise and we didn't see each other for a long time and even though I think you are very nice, I want to go sit with my little brother." Christal started to say in her apologetic voice, she really liked the girl, it was just, that she wanted to be here for Reg.

"Oh well I'll be on my way then, enjoy your lunch. I hope you'll have a lovely time with your brother, it's nice knowing some older siblings, that care this much." The redheaded girl said and walked away from Christal, she just headed towards the Slytherin dungeons.

When she got to them, she told the password to the wall and walked in to the common room. The number of people, that were in there. Lot of them were reading and some were having a conversations. She walked up to the dormitories, then once heavily knocked on the door, when nobody answered she got in.

"I didn't say anything, you shouldn't do that." Barty Crouch was still there, but with him there was another boy, a brunette nice looking boy.

"Oh yeah Evie this is Christal, Reggie's sister. Chris, this is Evie Rosier, the one and only. He's a bit mean sometimes, but don't worry about it, he doesn't mean it. " The blond guy laughed while lying in the bed upside down.

"Oh I do, by the way it's Evan, this blond prat just likes to mess with me, but since I'm better at wrestling, he should not. Nice to meet you anyway, Reggie told us a lot about you. Anyway back to you, you little idiot, I of course know who is Christal, Reggie told us a lot about his long lost sister." Evan rolled his eyes, visibly annoyed.

"Nice to meet you, you guys really do seem like a good trio. Anyways I'm just here to wait for my little brother, he is just at the practise, I hope I'm not bothering you here." She told them.

"No you aren't, I'm glad someone else is here, it might get Barty to stop annyoing me for like a second."Evan smirked at his friend.

"You love it, we both know it Rosier. You wouldn't be able to live without my little silly jokes." Barty nudged gently the other boy and he hit him with a pillow, on second after the boys were at the floor and play-fought. Barty laughed and Evan was focusing, so he was winning, after a while he sat at Barty, clearly winning.

"If you wouldn't laugh, you'd win Barty." Evan shook his head at the boy's behaviour, he didn't get why the other boy wasn't paying enough attention.

"Well, what can I say, I'm more for the fun of it, you know Evie, not everything I do is for the purpose of simply winning. I have other desires too, unless like you" Barty chuckled once more, breathing heavily because of the other boys weight. They both forgot about Christal in the room.

"We are sorry to do this in front of you Christal, we just got into the moment. Now, if you'd like, let's go to lunch." Evan gestured with his hand towards the door.

"I don't know about that-" Christal started.

"Why Regulus, will get there from his practise and we are starving to death, let's go." Evan raised his left eyebrow at the oldest Black sibling.

"I don't know if I am allowed to have lunch here, Evan." She shrugged in response. Evan sighed, which weighed down his shoulders.

"It's one hundred percent okay, we literally donated so much money to the department at the ministry, that takes care of running this place, that it certainly won't be a problem to have one lunch." Evan walked right out of the door and Barty ran after him.

"How long will it take you to get out of there, Black?" He yelled after a few seconds, she chuckled and hurried out of the room. The three of them walked towards the Great hall. They passed tons of people, but none of them knew Christal, that was the thing, she disappeared a year before the first year, so nobody remembered her.

"So how is it, being back in good old UK?" Barty asked and Christal smiled at him.

"Honestly? Very good." She said, but that wasn't all she meant, not even closely. It was bloody awesome to be back. Even though she had been coming back every year. UK was much more beautiful with the little stars, because for her, the night would've been horrible if there wasn't for the lovely stars.

"So you will be attending Hogwarts next year if I get it correctly?" Evan looked towards Christal, she nodded at him.

"Well, I hope so, even though I am worried he won't accept me as a student. Anyways yes, if everything goes according to my plan, I'll be in fifth year of Hogwarts next year." Christal smiled softly quite not believing it herself.

"That's great." Evan formed his lips into something, that could be called smile.

"Wait, something doesn't make sense, if you'll be attending fifth year and you haven't seen each other for five years with Reg, where did the one year go?" Barty called out confused, Chris tried not to remember this one year he was talking about.

"Well she with the big s sent me to this prep school for actual Durmstrang. It's like training for survival in the wild. Half of the year we lived in tents, lots of time cooked on the fire and other stuff. It sucked." Christal shrugged, she tried to look as it didn't matter to her, but it did. She hated that year and told herself over and over not to think about it.

"Bloody hell, what is it with people? Weren't you like ten? That's so.. wrong. I hate her with the big h, such a witch." Barty groaned, Christal couldn't help herself and chucked at the choice of insult.

"Well she is a witch, but every woman in this school is one Barty, so I wouldn't take it as a insult. You are wizard she is a witch, that isn't an insult in our case." Evan chuckled at the boy's mistake and the blonde only rolled his eyes.

"Shut up Rosier, you should think about getting the money you owe me."Barty nudged the other boy.

"Oh please, let's see who wins the next bet, then I maybe will give you some money." The brunette smirked.

"Okay, let's see. What bet is it?" Barty asked.

"The big one, we have always talked about." Evan said.

"Which one of us falls in love first?" Barty raised an eyebrow.

"Oh please, you're such a fool. Of course you." The blonde guy exclaimed after the boy simply nodded. Christal paid attention the whole time and now, she got very interested, who actually were these people.

"I couldn't disagree more. You are love obsessed, it'll be you." Evan shook his head apparently this was their sense of fun. Betting on love.

"I reckon we'll see, Rosier."

"I think we will, Crouch."

"Okay, you two, maybe you could be quiet. I m getting a headache from the two of you." Christal rolled her eyes at this playfully. She was glad Regulus found this good friends. They looked like they all cared about each other.

"Sorry, Christal." Evan apologised smirking, Chris just waved it off. They were close to the place, she knew it, because she could smell the delicious food.

"Alright, you should sit, I'm going to check the entrance, see if Regulus doesn't go to his room, because he might think you'll still be there. I hope you enjoy the food." With those words Barty left the table. Christal looked around, she sat at the Slytherin table of course. She felt somebody watching her, so the only response was to look around, until the girl spotted her twin staring at her, almost with hatred. Her heart ached at this.

"Don't look there, Sirius Black is one big mess. I haven't had any friends, that wouldn't hate him. You will be okay, you know. Reg is now too." Evan turned her head tu face her meal, she nodded.

"So why every one of your friends hates him?" Christal asked Evan after a few seconds, she raised her eyebrows at him not quite believing this.

"All my friends that I ever had are Regulus's too." Evan shrugged uninterested and put another piece of chicken in his mouth. Christal chuckled.

"My brother is lucky to have you all. I reckon I didn't meet everyone." The brunette Black smiled at the Rosier boy.

"We are lucky to have one another. It doesn't happen to you every day, that your friend is a star." Evan nodded, understanding Christal, somehow, they didn't need words, when it came to Regulus Acturus Black.

"No it doesn't." Christal whispered feeling her eyes tearing up a little. She blinked and tried to get the little pieces of water to go away.

"Hello people." Barty nodded at them, followed by no other than Regulus.

"Hello." Christal and Evan greeted unison.

"I see you met Evan, Chris. Plus I am sorry for the practise. I am going to be with you for the rest of the day. Don't worry." Regulus's lips formed into a small smile.

"Whoah dude, Regulus Acturus Black is bloody smiling. That's wild." Evan made fun of Regulus.

"Piss off Rosier, I smile sometimes." Regulus rolled his eyes in embarrassment.

"Not in this dimension you don't." Barty joined the conversation, after het got back with his food.

"Eat your food the both of you or I am going to murder you in your sleep." Regulus rolled his eyes.

"You're literally not able to kill a fly Regulus. I am not worried about you killing me, my friend." Evan chuckled and Regulus flipped him off. Christal ate her food silently, she tried not to pay attention to the death stares a certain person had been sending her.

"God, I am going to kill that idiot. I mean can he just stop acting like a selfish git?" Barty groaned and Evan nodded along saying something in the sense of "exactly". Christal just sighed, of course the girl knew ,they were talking about her twin.

"I don't want to talk about it." She told them and they all fell into a quiet, but the death stares didn't stop coming and Christal still didn't want to talk about him.
