    The Doctor was in grief, she had been ever since she entered this body. It seemed more prone to pain, more vulnerable to her past. She tired to be happy, that's why she was here, at the ball and watching her friends twirl and dance and laugh and enjoy themselves. And yet, she cant manage to join them. Not with River's name scrawled across her back in Gallifreyan, not with a huge part of her soul missing since Amy and Rory. She wanted her family. And that stranger that was watching her, wanted something too.
