Team 7 were having some breakfast together, having moved into the Uchiha estate to keep Sasuke from getting lonely. Kakashi had managed to get Naruto to stop having ramen for breakfast and had made some porridge for everyone. It was as he was reading the newspaper that the incident happened.
“Huh, I thought that would be big news,” Kakashi said.
“You thought what would be big news?” Sakura asked, wiping her face clean with a napkin.
“Well there seems to be the absence of a certain ornithological piece,” he said, sounding very well spoken for a lazy Ninja assassin, “A headline regarding the awareness of a certain Avian variety.”
Yamato’s face dropped. “Oh crap, not this again,” he thought, realising what was about to happen.
“What are you talking?” Sasuke asked, swallowing a mouthful of porridge.
“Oh have you not heard? I had assumed that everyone had heard.”
“Heard what?” Naruto asked.
“Guys, DON’T,” Yamato yelled.
“About, the the bird, that bird is the word. About the bird bird bird, that the bird is the word,” Kakashi sang, dancing to tune. Team 7 looked weirded out and Yamato slammed his head onto the table.
