he knew the kind of kiss tyler wanted to give him wasn’t a normal kiss. a normal kiss would simply leave his face flushed and heart racing. no, this was much different. this was the kind of kiss that fused their souls together, that transcended all other earthly feelings and left his world tilted off of its axis.
he could picture it now, as they sat together in the overly-bright interview room, having to use all his strength to focus on the questions he’d answered a hundred times before (who’s your biggest inspiration? what song do you like playing the most? and so on), but his brain was filled only with the prospect of tyler’s plump lips dragging across his own desperately. it didn’t help that tyler was staring at him—staring in that way that josh now knew meant his mind was filled with images just like his own.
somehow, by the grace of god, the interviewer decided they were satisfied with the duo’s contributions, and ended the interview sooner than anticipated, allowing them to leave the studio and return to their dinky old tour bus. when they arrived, they knew the rest of the crew would be busy for the next few hours, so they found themselves in no rush to explore each other. palms seared into skin, ruddy patches of redness bloomed where lips and teeth had left their evidence, and tyler crooned beautifully as josh pressed him down onto the overly soft mattress in the back of the bus.
“i adore you,” tyler murmured in reverence, “you are all i need.”
